We were extremely satisfied with Pro Mechanical's work and would use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber. Howie took the time and had the patience to explain everything he was doing/why he was doing it to us.

My husband and I came home on a Thursday evening to find a fair amount of water on the floor in our boiler room. It was easy to spot the leak and since it was 11pm, we taped it as best we could and put a bucket underneath. I got on my computer and went straight to Angie's list to find someone local who I would call in the morning. At 8:30 am I called Pro Mechanical which is one town over from mine. Howie picked up (loved that I didn't have to leave a message) and took the information. He said he could be at the house between 9:30 and 11:00am. I left for work and my husband said Howie came around 11:00am. He looked at the leak and said it would be $400 bucks. My husband said that was too high and he would have to do better than that. My husband also said since he is a senior citizen he would like the 10% off that comes with the Angie's list ad. After further discussion, they settled on a price of $280. Howie was at my home for approximately two hours. The job was done very neatly and he cleaned up everything nicely. Thank goodness it was a small leak and years ago my husband would have taken care of it. However, as we grow older there are certain jobs we just shouldn't tackle anymore. Most of the time, when you need to call a plumber, water is spraying or leaking allover something in your home. You are usually desperate for help and not in a position to negotiate. Thank goodness my situation allowed for some discussion and the price was adjusted.

I called the owner Howie at 7am. He said he would arrive before 9 am and was good for his word. He got right to work and got the job done. His price was fair and he honored the 5% discount offered on Angie's List.

Professional and Honest. Came on-time and tried to clean severely clogged drain. Unfortunately, after spending 1 hour it became clear that they could not do it. So they did not charge me anything and recommended another company for more heavy-duty work. I would use them again without hesitation because of their honesty and professionalism.

Arrived on time; very nice -- understanding of my situation (two disabled kids). Went upstairs and fixed the problem. What else can I say? While they were here, they solved some other minor plumbing problems for me as well. Very professional.

I comunicated with this company 3 times to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I was put off 2 times (the first time the owner "Howie" was on vacation; the second time I spoke with Howie and he said he'd call me the next morning (he did not); and the third time I actually scheduled an appointment with the owner, Howie. The day of the appointment he was a "no show" and no phone call to cancel or reschedule. If I have this much trouble trying to get an estimate you can only imagine the trouble I'd have if I had an emergency situation or other problem. I will not ever use this company as I have a very bad impression.

I consider him and his service one of the worst with whom I have ever had to deal. Since I have lived here a long time and was superintendent of a wealthy and prestigious school district for many years, I know whereof I speak. I would never recommend someone so irresponsible as he is for any position of trust or responsibility.

We noticed our water heater leaking and called several plumbers. Howie came right away for a free estimate and gave us the best impression and a competitive price. He and his assistant came by the next morning to change the water heater. They were prompt, answered all questions, gave us several options, did a great job, and cleaned up after themselves. What else can you ask for from a plumber? We will use them again in the future.

Overall I was satisfied with the service although I did not expect to pay that much. Additionally, he was neat and friendly and professional.

All went well. They arrived on time; took less time to make the repairs than anticipated. Explained everything that was being done; shared their experience of similar jobs, performed all that was asked. very positive demeanor.

My water heater tank was leaking and needed to be replaced. I checked Angie's list for top rated water-heater installers in my area and Pro Mechanical was on the list. Howie answered the phone himself and gave an estimate of the cost to install a new water heater. He's an honest guy that cares about the quality of his work. He even showed me the invoice he paid for the system. It was nice to see that he wasn't rushing against the clock; he arrived around 5PM and finished the job in about two hours. He and Rudy were careful to put down track paper and rug to ensure they didn't scrape up the floor. They cleaned up the work area too. The price is a bit steep but was not more than what the competition would charge (I checked and even the Home Depot was more expensive for an inferior water heater than the one Howie installed). I will recommend Pro Mechanical Plumbing to everyone. Plus it nice to now have a trustworthy plumber that is willing to show up for a service call and do a great job.

I called Pro Mechanical Plumbing and spoke to the owner,Howard, at 9:30 am. I was looking for someone to install a new Water Heater to replace the rust filled, and after examination, nearly 30 yr old Rheem unit I had. After a thorough interview, we scheduled an installation appointment for the next morning. Howie took the time to answer all of my questions, big and small, and provided knowledgeable answers. I knew I had found my man. The owner and assistant arrived on time with the exact equipment we had discussed the previous day. I had falsely assumed that disposal was included in the quoted price, but a nominal charge for disposal was added to my final bill. That is the only hiccup on an otherwise smooth transaction. They were finished working in less time then expected. They cleaned up the entire area and removed everything. I would highly recommend them. I will be doing a complete bathroom renovation this summer, and most certainly plan on using them for the job.

He was prompt, reasonably priced, and did an extremely neat job. Everything works just fine and I am happy the actual type of water heater he used; the water gets hot. He was a total professional, did his job, and was friendly. I am a professional myself and I would say he was as good as I would be; that is what I would have looked for. I have saved his number and I believe in the name of the company so I will use him again in the future.

They are very neat and thorough. Their pricing is very reasonable. I have called them at the last minute and they are very prompt. Howie, the owner, is very personable and I cannot say anything bad about the company.

I called another plumber after the flood, but he was busy and recommended PMP since my water heater was off. PMP costs about 50% more than the other company, but I was in a pinch and had no choice. PMP did do a nice job and the guy who came explained everything. I would use my other plumber first, only because he cheaper. But if it's an emergency, I guess I would call PMP back.

We were very happy with the service they provided.

I would recommend him because he did a good job. While I was standing there he cleaned out all the lime and put in a new part. I had first tried it myself and couldn't figure it out. It was right when he was there the power lights went off for no reason and he said the whole igniter for the hot water heater had to be changed. He was able to solve it right then and there. I was trying around for a while and I didn't have hot water for a little while. He was very professional, very approachable and honest in everything. The other plumbers recommended him that were on Angie's List because they were busy with another job and it would be a while before they could come. I would use him again in the future if need be.
