Fred's Chimney Magic

It was a good experience with Fred's Chimney. The estimate was given on 11/03/14 and we have chosen to go with another company for the service.

Excellent service, very friendly and completed the job quickly and efficiently.

The job went very well. They arrived on time. I was shown what was being done while the work was in progress. The material used for the job was very good grade material. They were very polite and answered all my questions. They cleaned up after the work was done. Thank you for such good service.

This company provided excellent service. due to careless mistake, we provided them with the wrong service address, caused them to send their technicians to go to the wrong location, but they still managed to come to our home location and provided the service very quickly. I really appreciate that kind of patience and tolerance for their client's mistakes. the technicians arrived on site and quickly located all the fixtures of the house that they needed to located. their performed good job, answered all of my questions and concerns. demonstrated to me how their work was done. also provided a quote to cover the pipe on top of the roof. The next business day I then received a follow up phone call from their office to make sure everything was taken care of. I think they provided excellent and thorough professional service and extreme good quality. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use their service again.

First the chimney was rebuilt by the mason. Two or three days later the liner was installed. Every thing was done promptly and everyone was polite and professional. The entire experience was painless.

The guys came at the appointed hour for a cost estimate. The price seemed right and I felt good about hiring them. Since the hole was fairly small, they repaired it in a half hour. Everything was cleaned up and the job looked very good. I also liked that I could call the company and someone was there to assist me in a courteous and professional manner. They were also very good at calling me to establish the time of the appointment. Would use them again.

They explained in detail what they were going to do and warned me about possible damages they may incur. The cleaning process was relatively quick, and doesn't look like there were any damages. At the end of the job they cleaned up their mess.

I could not have been happier with their performance. Arrived On Schedule Worked and finished in a timely manner Discovered a potentially dangerous chimney problem and repaired it avoiding a more costly repair/ replacement later. They cleaned up thoroughly. Fred's sets the standard by which I can judge all other contractor performance. Unqualified endorsement for all the services they offer. Doing the roof in the spring. You bet I'll be calling them!

They came out a week after they were originally supposed to come out. I am not too pleased with them so far. They aren’t very pleasant and are not someone I would recommend.

In addition Tom recommended that we might consider adding a steel liner for the oil burner side of the chimney, we will consider that for the future. He gave us some information on different interior and exterior products to add to the life of the chimney, the total cost be approximately $2400. It is important to remember that all companies are trained to offer add on services, and we should always ask for a second opinion when your dealing with a significant expense.

From start to finish, they were on time, professional, answered all questions, reasonable priced and completed work promptly. I was pleasantly surprised.

It went fine. They cleaned my gutters. It's not rocket science but you need to put a little effort into it and the crew sent did. They were professional, friendly, on-time. That's have the battle right there. And the company gave me a call and let me know they were on there way. I like that. I have 2 gutters that are a little above a second story and they got to them no problem. I did sign up for a coupon cleaning that serviced 100 linear feet of gutter and I am slightly over. I didn't agree with the estimated quantity given but didn't make an issue over it. I was charged more than the coupon price but understood that going into the job. I had Sully and Eric on the job and I will say they did a good job. No issues but I do wonder if they carry their own hoses to wash down gutters. They used mine which is perfectly fine but what if I didn't have one? I would absolutely use them again unless they argue with my calculation of gutter linear feet. I had some service come approx 2 years before and they were absolutely horrible. Didn't have equipment, they were late and full of excuses. I'm glad I tried Fred's Chimney Magic.
