Fred's Chimney Magic

I bought a big deal for this service and it was both good and bad. The guys were very nice, polite and we were happy with the personnel. They went upstairs and looked in the attic. They did what they were supposed to do, but then they said they were not sure. They said we probably could use some traps, but they were not licensed to put traps in. I wondered why we hired them. That was very disappointing. They did an inspection of my dryer vents and they said they needed cleaning. I let them do that because I knew we needed it done. It was a mixed bag. The personnel were very nice and very friendly, but what I hired them for, they really were not licensed to do. He went out of his way to seal the pipe and I think he felt bad because we knew what we needed to do. They knew we needed traps inside the house and they were not licensed to do that. I am not sure why they were advertising the way they were. We don't have the problem anymore. I was kind of stumped that they were not licensed to do what I needed done.

They were done in 2 hours! Left everything clean and tidy too. Very pleased!

They did not arrive at the original time I was given, they arrived after dark so they could only clean from fireplace flue & boiler chimney up, couldn't go on roof. I was given the opportunity to reschedule if I wanted to but that did not fit into my schedule for holiday clean-up. That is why I gave the quality a fair as I'm not sure that this process cleaned the entire length of the chimney However the cleaning of the fireplace and clean up afterward was well done. The men who came were pleasant

They did not refrain from making some extra stops. Inspecting for the scope of the work took couple of visits to finalize what needs to be done and it did not create any problem. They showed up on the agreed time and they did everything within a day. They placed all the waste into our garbage can and left a very clean work space. Justin was available with his cell phone with my follow up questions. I believe I got an excellent service. Will definitely call them for future maintenance.

The workers were very professional, friendly and helpful. Overall, they did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again in the future.

He only took twenty minutes to clean the chimney, it was very fast and clean. I thought he would do it the old fashioned way, but he had a machine that was much faster, efficient and clean. I am very happy with the service.

The provider came out to the house. He was very nice, friendly, on time and knowledge. Very knowledgeable. He definitely knew what he was talking about. I had a misunderstanding of what the Big Deal was I was buying. I thought I was purchasing for duct vent cleaning. Provider left me with an estimate and advise on the type of service I need.

It all went well. When they came there was no evidence of any raccoon, so they they said that if i had a problem again to them a call. They were very professional, polite and knowledgeable.

Responded quickly to my inquiry for an appointment. Made appointment for next business day between 8:30 and 9:30 am. Arrived approximately 9:00 am at the beginning of the impending snow storm. They were professional and did an excellent job.

In general, the service was okay. I saw they put nail holes in the roof so they could install the footing but they did not cover the holes. I saw a crack in the concrete cemente, as well. They did not do anything about it when I brought it to their attention.
