Chris and his assistant arrived exactly on time and provided us with a courtesy phone call prior to arrival. They were very professional and answered questions that we had regarding follow up service and maintenance. I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

The sweep was ok but they tried to get me to do $3,500 worth of unnecessary work. After they left, I had another contractor stop by and he said the $3,500 estimate was nonsense. I guess that's why the price is so low. They want to "get in the door" and then try to up sell you. Be careful.

The job went very well. Chimney Magic was responsive to my inquiry and arrived within a few days to provide an estimate for the job. We setup an appointment to install the liner and cap about a week later. The workers arrived on time and worked very diligently to perform the work which was completed in 5-6 hours. We are pleased with the results and feel that our home is safer with this improvement. The price we paid includes the chimney liner and cap as well as chimney insulation and 3 plumbing vent caps on the roof.

I am a repeat customer. I was very pleased the first time when I hired them to replace my chimney liner. So, I did not hesitate to call them back for another job. The office staff is courteous and responsive. The dryer vent was replaced quickly and he made sure the dryer was functioning properly before leaving. I was told it wasn't dirty. there were some ashes sitting on the damper which they cleaned. They put down a tarp to catch the few ashes and then they were finished. It was a quick and easy job.

I would use Fred's Chimney Magic again in a heartbeat! They were prompt, professional, reasonably priced, and above all HONEST! Ron & Chris came to look at our gutter that we feared would need major repair or replacement, but were honest enough to tell us that the issues we saw were likely just due to the need of a few new clips and a cleaning. Much to our relief, that's all it took. In no time they had the gutters cleaned out and working good as new. They were also kind enough to give us an estimate for a few potential issues they saw with our chimney, absolutely no pressure to commit to the work on the spot. Highly recommended company!

The guy that came out to clean the gutters went up on the roof and said that my gutters were clean because I have gutter guards and the problem was actually because one of the guards came off. He put it back on for me and didn't charge me for coming out and suggested that I contact Angie's List for a refund since I didn't need the work. He was very nice and polite and I really appreciated his honesty.

Mike and his crew arrived on time, worked hard for over 6 hours to get the job done which included a chimney that was lined and capped, and capped vents. Afterwards they did a broom-sweep cleanup. Overall they were a pleasant, thorough and professional crew and would definitely hire again.
