Unfortunately, they couldn't help in this area, but I have to say, they were the nicest, most pleasant team of people I have encountered! From the beginning, Fred got right back to me on my first inquiry, and I called and Janet could not have been sweeter, Then Tom Murphy came right on time, looked at my mess and unfortunately wasn't able to perform the repair. He offered several other services, to which they will be the first I call!

They were very prompt, they had follow up calls and confirmation calls, they called before they arrived even. I have absolutely no complaint.

2 gentleman arrived on a Saturday afternoon, inspected cleaned, and reassured us fireplace was safe. no nonsense, no "tricks"..pros all the way.

Sully and Eric showed up a little early (can you imagine!!!) and did the job quickly, & efficiently. Left no mess only a clean chimney. Would definitely use them again.

Tom recommended a stainless steel liner which I know is now required by code with gas heat. They returned on 9/7/17 and installed the stainless liner at a fair price. There was no pressure and the did a professional and neat job.

It went well. Only charged for chimney sweep. They removed the growth from gutter guards for free.

I was happy with the whole process -- from booking to job completion. Best thing is they showed up when they said they would! Super friendly and knowledgable. Will definitely use them again.

We have a 114 year old house, chimneys were in disrepair. Sweep told us replace, but sweep didn't do that work. Three estimates were received, the one that made the most sense happened to be the cheapest, and so we went with Fred's. Mike, our serviceman, was intelligent and well spoken, showed us pictures of our chimney and explained problems clearly, and charged us at the end of each segment of the work as it was completed, rather than half down, half at completion. I have owned many homes needing major repairs and complete gut job renovations. These guys were clean, honest, and well priced. They will be doing all maintenance going forward for us.

This review is a little overdue. I could NOT get a recommendation for a chimney guy....at all. A lot of these companies seem to have bad reputations. That's when I turned to this website, when I had no where else to turn. That's where I found Fred's Chimney Magic. They are very responsive, and courteous. After many estimates, I decided Justin was the guy. Justin came to my home, and recommended what I should do, while some other companies literally looked at my chimney and told me " I can't help you, call a mason" He told me what to do and why. After doing some research and comparing his recommendations to other company's recommendations, I knew he was the real deal. Justin, Chris, and Alonzo blew me away with their efficiency and workmanship. They tore down my chimney, rebuilt it, installed a liner and insulated it. Its two years later and it looks like it was just done. No issues. Have recommended and would definitely hire again.

All I can say is that if I had 10 homes, these guys would work on each and every one of them! The crew came same day since they were in the area and I was home. What a crew. Fantastic all around!!!! Thank you.

Work went well couldn't finish the did entire job, but gave us a fear price for the work performed under the 2hr special. .

They were here maybe a day or 2 after I booked them. There was an additional charge with the $89. It was a couple of hundred dollars that I spent. They were very good and they didn’t push things. I was the one who booked it, I was the one who was what they were doing.

They did a very thorough job and explained everything well.

It was ok. They did what they had to do. They didn't do the cleaning which was part of the package. They wanted to do some extra work that I didn't want done at the moment. They had great followup.
