Description of Work: i had 4 windows caulked for an Angie's list special price of $149.00 . The office worker Annette was very helpful. She advised me of work that would be done and the date and time. Workers were very punctual and called when they were on their way. When they finished i wasn't prepared to pay an additional $12.85 tax. They requested tax be paid in cash which i didnt have that morning. They said they had to call the office and see if they could accept a check in lieu of cash.They found out I could write a check and i wrote ahe check for that amount. One other thing -- one of the workers came into my house and tried to sell me a brick chimney. their work was really good but I would have liked being informed of tax due beforehand.

Description of Work: Chimney cleaning, and chimney repair. Loose bricks were recemented. A new chimney cap put on my wood burning stove chimney. The contractor was punctual and professional and I am happy with the result, and would recommend him highly.

Description of Work: No work was performed because there was not enough to be done. The gentleman who came to my home was so nice and honest when he told me that my husband and I could do it ourselves. The price was more than the job was worth. I thanked him and took his cards for future reference and to recommend this company to friends. I was very happy!

Description of Work: I would highly recommend Freds Chimney Magic. They are both punctual and professional . They installed a stainless steel liner into my chimney , repointed and crowned it. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship and knowledge displayed . They kept the scheduled appointment even though it was only two days after super storm sandy and said it would be ok even if I didn't have power. When they were done Fred cleaned off the roof & gutters with a leaf blower and even did the driveway. Description of Work: Used Angie's List coupon for window caulking. Had FCM caulk second floor windows since I did not have a large enough ladder. Unfortunately, not their fault, but they said ladder would not fit through my basement to access back yard, so they had to do it from the inside. Not possible to do as good a job that way, but it was not their fault and the best under the circumstances.

Thwy explained in detail what had to be accomplished to ensure Athat my home would be subject to carbon monoxide which is a silent killer. They perform the installation of a chimney cap and installed a liner to keep condensation from entering my recently purchased a System 2000 oil burner. Description of Work: The advertisement was to clean up to I beleive100 feet of gutters for $159. My job was much larger. it was a few months ago so I don't remember exactly but the increased charge was minimal. My gutters had not been cleaned in years. It took them a long time to get all the gutters cleaned. I was very well satisfied.

Description of Work: I made an appt to clean my dryer vent. They came the same day cleaned the vent and gave some helpful hints. They suggested that I have the flex pipe for the vent changed to solid vent pipe to clean less and more durable than flex.
