Description of Work: Cleaned out dryer vent and replaced dryer vent cap/flap.

Description of Work: Overall they gave a detailed evaluation of our chimneys, but the price was higher than anticipated for a check-up and basic cleaning. I was expecting to pay $79 total for the visit, but it was actually $79 per chimney and we had two. But they were courteous and helpful and I may use them again in the fall if we decide to fix some of the other issues that were uncovered.

Description of Work: Fred's Chimney installed a stainless steel liner in my chimney. The men were courteous and professional. They also provided information on the product and installation. I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: The men were very professional. They gave me an estimate for a chimney lining as well. They did this in a very low key manner unlike others who gave me a hard sell. They also provided important information re. a chimney lining. The older of the two was like a favorite Uncle. When I get the lining I will certainly use them.

Description of Work: I was looking for someone to help with a leak i have around my chimney. |during their inspection of the chimney, they found lots of flue liner debris blocking the outtake. They quickly yet very neatly removed the blockage. |Recommend if you need your chimney check & cleaned.

Description of Work: I purchased a chimney cap replacement and chimney sweep deal through Angie's List. Fred's Chimney Magic promptly reached out to set up an appointment. They were very friendly and easy to work with. The first time the service people came out they didn't have a ladder long enough to reach the top of the chimney which I was surprised about, but perhaps my chimney is extra high. After that they set up another appointment to have a different service person come out. That appointment went very smoothly. They quickly came in and cleaned the chimney and replaced the cap in a timely manner. They also looked at the furnace in the basement to do a quick inspection and provided me with additional materials on safety. I was happy with the service and price, and would definitely recommend them.
