Description of Work: They did the job, but what I didn't like was the lack of honesty my management. I had my chimney and dryer vent cleaned withing the previous 12 months, and wanted to have it done again. I called this company for the job. They were reasonably priced and punctual. What I didn't like was the dishonesty of the manager. When the manager wasn't present, I asked the worker if the fireplace was really bad as far as needing to be cleaned/swept. He said it really wasn't bad (and it should not have been, since it was only used 3x since it had been cleaned last). I appreciated his honesty. When the manager returned, he did not know I had the conversation with the worker and he turned to the worker and said "Boy that chimney was really bad - it really needed to be cleaned, right?!' He did not listen for the lack of a response from his worker. I was unhappy that he was trying to make me believe that the chimney was really in desperate need of the cleaning - when he hadn't seen it and the worker who had seen it, felt it wasn't terrible. I don't appreciate the sales-i-ness of the manager and will not use them again for fear of being taken advantage of. Good job to the worker for being honest!

Viewing the soot from the chimney top is different than the bottom. Soot clings to the upper inner walls a lot quicker because the chimney gets colder the higher it goes up. Glaze is forming at the top. She should talk to the company who clean her fireplace last. We did not leave any estimate for any repairs. We gave a $10. discount for the fireplace chimney to be cleansed for $49, since we were there doing a dryer vent cleaning already. I have no idea what sales pitch she spoke about since we did not try to sell her anything else. Eighth of a inch. of soot burns at 2150 degrees in a chimney fire. Helpers aren't trained like a manager. It was just $49. of advise from a expert. That's all. Thank you for the C.
