We've have Fred out every fall for four years now and every year he does an outstanding job. We leave a message with his service to make an appointment, he returns the call that same evening and schedules a visit within a week or two. He arrives on time, works quickly and is meticulous in every way. He gives us a quick report on the overall condition of our chimney, answers any questions, gives recommendations etc. The little bundle of kindling that he leaves in the fireplace is the icing on the cake!

Very professional and polite. They made sure to lay down covering in front of the fireplace to avoid a mess. He had an apprentice with him and carefully explained how and why he did things when he did it, which I found very commendable. After inspecting the fireplace chimney they recommended services for some issues they noticed in the flue and the exterior brick. He even gave an estimate for a fireplace insert should we decide to go with one. We look forward to using them in the future.

They are very professional and called the day before to give me the 2 hours window. And called before they arrived. Once arrived, Mike handed me paper documents regarding the jobs they do and advertising for lifetime Stainless steel liner, vent cap, etc. He also showed me a short video about the top sealing damper on his computer. Mike and his partner did a good job cleaning the chimney and left a little over an hour later. Before he left, he recommended to have the following work done on my chimneys for around $4,000, 1. to install a high grade Lifetime Stainless steel liner for oil chimney, 2. to fill the gap between liner and original chimney with Vermiculite, 3. to replace metal damper of fireplace chinmey with top sealing dampers, 4. to seal above glass door of firepace with bondaflex, 5. to replace my galvanized chimney caps (recently installed by roofer) with stainless steel chinmey caps. 6. to add 4 roof top vent caps.

The service was very good. I would use them again.

It was easy to make an appointment at my convenience. The office staff and workers were polite and professional. The workers arrived on time, and the office manager called me to advise they were on their way with about 30 minutes notice. The only glitch in the process was that initially they could not locate the rooftop dryer vents and thought they might be venting out the back of the house. However, after I assured him that the vents were indeed on the roof, he put the ladder back up to the roof, found both vents and completed the service quickly.

From start to finish they were professsionals. They cleaned up after themselves. Not only were the technicians a pleasure to work with but the office people were polite and called a half hour before the truck arrived, as they said they would do.

Everything went fine. I received a call telling me the technicians were on their way to my home. They arrived as scheduled and were very friendly. The job was completed in around a half an hour. I recommend this service provider.

I was very happy with the services provided, and the fact that these guys knew what they were doing, had the proper tools, and were fast and efficient. Would definitely have them back. They do provide other services, and mentioned them (gutter cleaning, chimney cleaning/relining) but there was no hard sell. Would definitely have them back and would recommend.

They were honest as well, I asked to look at other work I thought was needed and they said it was fine didn't need to get done so they are honest as well not looking to rip off their customers. Fred's Chimney Magic did an excellent job repairing my chimney as well as installing a lining. The service was done promptly, communicated in an excellent fashion, and with a reasonable price. I will exclusively use their service in the future!

I ended up not using them but they seemed very good. Fred was a very nice man. He gave me a thorough estimate. He was pretty responsive and punctual in getting back to me on everything. It was a free estimate. His price was just a little bit higher than the others were. I would consider him in the future.

We liked Fred. He is whacky though. We recommended him to our neighbors. We had a bunch of different people come in and he was the only one who went on the roof, looked at the chimney and talked about things. He was very thorough. He gave us something afterwards, that we didn’t ask for and that he didn’t talk about upfront and he should have I thought. The only thing about him was that he didn’t clean up a hundred percent. It was a small job, like moving something, but they came back. It was fascinating. He was the only person who didn’t talk about rebuilding the chimney. He also didn’t talk about waterproofing it. He told us that people has been using bricks for centuries and this house has stood for so many years that he suspected that it might need water proofing. It was just an interesting comment and everybody else was trying to sell us things. He is very personable. He is very garrulous. We will use him again to make sure our chimney is okay. He was good with his pricing. The quality of his service was great. He was great with his responsiveness. He was 45 minutes late though.

They were excellent. I liked everything about them. They showed up on time. They did not try to sell me extra products. They were very good. I rate them high overall.

Fred's people showed up as promised and performed work to my satisfaction. They were polite and worked very clean. I received a call from the company when they were about to arrive and a follow-up call the next day,very good! The charge was as stated in the estimate.
