Chris was very reliable, pleasant and professional. Job was completed in a timely manner. I was pleased with the overall experience.

Two men came & proceeded to set out tarps, tools, etc. They quickly, yet thoroughly, inspected & cleaned the chimney. They left the area clean & tidy. Their inspection found no problems therefore they did not recommend additional work at this time. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them.

Excellent service. Arrived earlier than scheduled with a phone call to make sure that was okay. (Which it was.) Very thorough. Offered good advice and also installed a much needed chimney cap.

My elderly father had been told by a contractor who called him, that his liner and chimney needed extensive work after coming to the house. The person would not leave a quote for the work after stating that it was a dangerous situation and the work needed to be done I immediately. Without an estimate, I advised my father not to use them. After searching Angie’s List, I called Fred’s Chimney Magic who came the same day. After an inspection, they stated that there was nothing wrong and everything was in fine shape. I asked about a service call charge and they said there would be no charge. I don’t know that they would do this all the time but their kindness was greatly appreciated by my 98 year old father. I recommend them for their customer service and honesty.

Mike and his partner (both visits) were awesome. They were very friendly and professional. The took the time to (patiently) explain the cause and solution for my smoke smell problem. I highly recommend this company!

I have been using Fred's Chimney Magic for a few years now. And honestly should have written a review earlier. The saying goes "you get what you pay for" and it's true in this case. You pay for the professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of everyone involved. It starts with making an appointment and speaking to Janice, Carol or one of the ladies in the administrative department to price quotes and service. We've always had Mike come and do the work. Everything is done efficiently, professionally and cleanly. Mike has never left any sort of mess. I have them come clean my chimneys, air ducts (forced hot air for heat) and dryer each ear. They give you a quote on the phone and that is the price you pay. There are no surprises with them. You may get a recommendation on work that needs to be done, but there is no strong arm nonsense. I am always very happy with the service. And the staff is so nice. You'll be making the right call if you dial their number!!

The problem was a nest causing a chimney blockage. The job was handled excellently. They cleaned the chimney, removed the nest, inspected for any other potential damage, and screened the caps so it would not happen again. They were professional, clean and thorough and all for the right price. I did have two cancellations prior to the repair, but it was worth the wait. I would recommend Chimney Magic to my friends. The installers, Mike and Dan, were professional, polite and completed all work quickly. All work was explained beforehand by Mike and they left everything very clean. I would definitely hire them again for any chimney or fireplace problems.
