Sahlems said not doing roof repair

I only wanted an estimate for the garage and was uncomfortable with having to consider a separate project I hadn't planned on at this time.

I had a full home inspection done approximately 6 years ago. At that time I was told there was a good chance we would need a total tear off w/in 5 years. Each year, we have had to replace shingles. After this inspection was completed we were given the great news that we didn't need the roof replaced at this time. He also gave us some areas that could be touched up (tar around pipes for example). He then called and gave us some roofs to look at on our block as a reference point of roofs in trouble. Both my husband and I expect a sales pitch instead of the news we got. A friend on our street did have them do their roof and had highly recommended their work. We will definitely keep them in mind when we do need a roof.

I don't think we had any complaints. They did very well. They came out with the estimate and did the work on time. They did it all in one day, and everything was cleaned up. They did a wonderful job.

The only company that had someone climb on the roof for the estimate. The only company that gave me a detailed estimate in writing on the spot. Said they would not be the cheapest but not the most expensive - turns out, they were the cheapest. Work performed on schedule, beautiful job, good cleanup Only complaint was that my kids were home and we heard a few choice words. I highly recommend buying a bar magnet pickup tool to find stray nails in the lawn. I recommended them to my sister and would use them again.

Everyone showed up as scheduled and the roof was completed as promised in 6 hours. The guys worked well together as a team. Quality work and efficiency describe this company!

The owner came as scheduled to give an estimate. I called after the contract expired to schedule the work and was still given the same price. The work was done in one day as promised. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I waited for rain to make sure the gutters worked well before I submitted my report. All the problems we had with our old gutters were fixed by replacing them with the new ones. We are extremely pleased with every aspect of their work. We had used them before on a different house 20 years ago and they did a great job then as well. They also fixed a piece of siding that was detached even though that was not a part of the contract. We highly recommend them.

Sahlems Roofing and Siding is a horrible company. They said they installed our gutters, but after our first snow the gutters fell. They did come back and put the gutters back up, but they left 11 holes in our brand new flashing.

Sahlems had a crew come in and clean up after the job so everything was cleaned up well. I felt he did an excellent job on the chimney job. I would recommend him.

We have hired Sahlems Roofing and Siding in the past, but this job was a little harder because of the size of the windows. They even gave us suggestions as to what to buy. I wouldn't use anybody else.

I think the report card speaks for itself. Sahlems Roofing was outstanding. I will definitely use them again and refer them to others.

roof was done with many workers and finished in 1 day. cleaned up pretty good (good amount of would scraps up in the attic that I had to clean up. professionalism - my wife noticed a worker urinating in the back yard - could have asked to use 1 of our 2 bathrooms Took a couple days to complete the soffit, fascia and gutter work; seemed to REALLY take their time. Quality of work very good and efficient. One of lowest priced contractors.

Sahlems is a very good company. I purchased the windows from them and they did a great job of installing them. The whole job took a few days and they were very efficient. The crew even took off their shoes whenever they came inside my home.
