Work went well with a few delays. We were provided with a project manager who coordinated the whole project from beginning to end. First off we met with the owner of the company Rick Kaz,who upon selecting his company, came to our home and gave us an estimate which was on the money at projects end. He and his staff were professional, courteous and available at all times. The delays came as the shipment of tiles ordered, was short from the manufacture. It delayed the project a few days. There were a few hitches with the subcontractor " Distintive Tile " that because of the shortage of tiles shipped, the subcontractor and the project were set back. This resulted in a situation where the Sub had different tile setters working on our project at different times causing a discrepancy in the quality of their work. We then had to press Kaz and Distintive Tile to redo some of the flooring. This eventually was done and all concluded in our having a beautifully remodelled kitchen. We thank all who were involved and are very happy of the outcome.

Their subcontractors were average. They had a painter come and I am not pleased with the job that he did. The ceiling was a reasonable price.

They were very professional and their work was very well done. The service was kind of extensive. I would consider using them again in the future if needed but only in specific cases because I thought that they were expensive. So, if I have a job that I thought really warranted some extra money for some extra results, I would definitely use them but I would only use them in that case. They were great. I have an old house so there is always something to do around here and I would rather save some money for another project in different places.

Our experience with The Kaz Companies Inc went fine. They were good. They're very dependable. They come back if anything goes wrong or hadn't been fixed properly and they take care of the problem quickly.

They came out and looked all over the place trying to find out where the water would be coming in. They were very thorough. I felt that they were very fair. They were good and professional. They didn’t charge me anything. I would definitely use them again if I have work done.

John did the service he and his assistant were very professional, informative, and courteous. John spent the extra time explaining the required maintenance for maintaining optimal garage door functioning. I appreciated their honesty as I thought I would have to replace the garage door. So the repair cost was a pleasant surprise.

Several years ago we had the Kaz rep come to our house to give us an estimate on a kitchen remodel. He took down notes and made measurements. Within a week we had a written estimate that was completely wrong. I tried to call the rep and even went to the office to see if we could get an updated estimate. I got no response. Finally the owner called me and told me that it was just an error and I should understand. That was the last I heard from them. It was obvious to me that they didn't want our business.

Initially visit went very well, he took measurements, he was very friendly And helpful, I wanted to update my bathrooms and enclose balcony vs. performing more practical work on my home, the representative seem wonderful and knowledgable but never gave us an estimate, I was hoping they would return with an affordable estimate, since I thought so highly of them, I did not call him back because following through with an estimate is my first test when considering working with a company

We contracted with Kaz for our complete (finished) basement project. They performed the majority of the work and completed it in a timely and professional manner. | |I was able to sub out parts that I was either able to do myself or was able to find other avenues for completion. | |Everything was completed as stated in the original contract or in the change of work orders. | |Their reputation, quality of work, personal references and financing options offered by the company were all factors in our decision to go with Kaz for this project.

kaz was great . from the planning to help picking out products to the work . everybody was friendly and professional.kaz worked every day with exception of week ends and holidays, they showed up on time and left on time every day. they paid attention to small stuff too, meaning matching the stain and style of trim on new doors/windows with the trim that were not touched .kaz took care of all permits making sure everything was done right following with licenses and town codes

I called them for an estimate to remodel a full bathroom. Appointments were running about two weeks out. They sent out Ray. He examined the job and told me he would get a quote to me quickly. Three weeks later no quote. I called and was given a number over the phone and I asked for a written quote so that I could review the scope of work. Never arrived. I called to say that I would like to go over the quote in person, scheduled - for another week out. Ray did not show up for the appointment claiming he was waiting for me to confirm the time - he had all of my contact information had there been a question as to the time of the appointment. My spouse and I left our offices early to meet him at 5 because they don't like to work later than that. Through their web site I sent Ray an email asking if they still wanted to meet and there was no response. It seemed like the would have done good work. Oh well.

The work went well and they handled any hitches professionally and efficiently. The workers were excellent and a pleasure to have in our home. They were very considerate of our space. i would highly recommend Kaz Companies.

It started with an estimate. Eric from Kaz was great, able to answer most of my questions and take preliminary measurements of the house and windows. Eric got back to me very quickly with a competitive estimate (we had 3 others with only 1 that we were considering). We chose Kaz as they seemed just as good as our second best but Kaz beat them out on price by quite a bit. Once we made the choice to go with Kaz, we were assigned a Project Manager, Dave. Dave called me and set up appointments for Bob the window guy and Dustin the siding guy to come over and double check the measurements and prepare their work order so that they can order materials. Both Bob and Dustin were extremely professional and answered all of my questions and provided some ideas that we hadn't thought of. With materials ordered, Dave and I set up a day for when they were to begin work. That day came and the windows were the first to be replaced, I believe it took Bob and his crew 2 days to complete the work, which was perfect. Next up was the siding. Dustin and his crew showed up and did an outstanding job. They worked pretty much 8-5 and cleaned up at the end of each day. They also worked well with the insulation company that I contracted to come in and add insulation to my Family Room while the old siding was off. Siding was completed in about 2 weeks and came out perfect also. Dustin and his team missed no details and went above and beyond. We had purchased some new lights and a new mailbox, which they installed without even saying anything. My electric meter and Kitchen vent needed painting, they took care of that too. Gutters were the last to be installed. They were dropped off one day and installed the next. I didn't meet the crew but the work was just as good as the other work done. As for the inside of the house, I had some drywall replaced in my Family Room and an acoustic ceiling replaced. Dave the Drywall guy did the work there and again, like the other crews, went above and beyond. The window that was removed and drywalled was something that was leftover when the Family Room was added. You people that live in the Marvin Gardens area of Tonawanda know what I'm talking about. The other side of that was in our bathroom. Dave did a great job of drywalling and tiled and grouted what needed it in the bathroom. He also did the trim around our new windows and ceiling. It turned out beautiful. During the entire job, Dave, the Project guy was in contact with me regarding any questions I had or just to let me know who was coming when. Once the job was complete, Eric my Sales guy stopped by to make sure everything was complete to my satisfaction. Which it was. Eric, Dave, Bob, Dustin and Dave are a great team and represented The Kaz Companies very well. They all took pride in their work and treated my house like theirs when it came to the work they were doing. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbors. Thanks Guys!

Fine...advised not investing a ton in my projects as they could be alleviated other ways than hiring a professional.

They never got back to me. No one returns a call to me for the estimate. I have called twice.

Great. Responsive, on time, quick,cleaned up each day, no skaggy workers, hid the smoking, no loud radios, all gentlemen.(This sets them apart) Established chain of command, referred all questions to one person who was on site to answer. Class act.

They were expensive. We have had other work done and did not go back to them because of price. The workers were good and the salesman was too pushy. the two workers that put in our windows and doors were very hardworking, courteous and corrected anything I asked. The salesman took it from a little project to a whole 65,000 project. I am happy with my windows and doors but not happy with them pushing too hard to get work I was not planning on them. They were not listening to what I wanted done.

I just moved into a house that needed a few updates. Kaz quickly responded to our request to set up an appointment for our estimate, and their employee arrived right on time. He seemed professional, and offered advice relating to the work we wanted to get done. Well, 3 WEEKS and 3 PHONE CALLS later we never heard back from them...no estimate and no return phone call. They might do exceptional work, but I found their subsequent behavior unprofessional. I have used several vendors from Angie's List with fantastic results, but I would not recommend Kaz.

He is willing to work with my budget. We have had a great first interaction. They have a wonderful computerized diagram of the future potential remodel. He has stoof out of all the companies I have interviewed, the others have been good, but he seems above and beyond.

More than pleased with the new bathroom, garage is still in progress do to the weather, the cement has not been laid yet. Roofing is done and siding almost done. Kaz installed the windows in our parish hall and I was so impressed with their work and professionalism that I hired them without getting other estimates. That is how much faith I have in them. The workers are all very professional, music stays at a low volume. and I have never heard objectionable language from them as I have heard from other contractors. Whenever a UPS delivery came in they have helped get it into the house for me. They have thanked me for providing cold water on hot days. I am hoping to have them finish our basement too. that is next on my list. Would recommend them to all my friends with out fail. They may be more expense I don't know, I just know I am getting quality work. I wanted it done right the first time.

I waited 3 weeks for the first quote, had to call and call to get it. Then met in the show room, loved what I saw, liked the process that was explained to me. However, there were many promises and NO follow up on the quote. Very disappointed would have loved to have done business with them.

Very pleased with this company. Right from the first meeting they were very professional and knowledgeable. This carried out through the finished roof. About a month after they were done I had an issue with rain running out of the gutters . I called them and they came out within and hour since it was really a bad rain. Mr Kaz himself came out and he said that he thought it was just clogged. He got up on the ladder in the pouring rain and fixed the problem. Even though it had nothing to do with the work they had done Mr Kaz did it and did not charge me. I would definitely use them again!!

This is the second time in two years we used Kaz. We have nothing but good things to say about them. They aren't the cheapest contractor around, but they are well worth the cost (speaking from experience with other contractors we've used in the past) and you certainly get what you pay for. The work is exacting and flawless. The professionalism of the entire crew is exemplary. They were very responsive to my requests. They offered very good ideas for the design of the project but of course executed what we ultimately decided. The work areas were cleaned up at the end of each day. We whole-heartedly recommend them.

They were very very expensive. We were mostly looking at vanities and granite countertops. I had a good experience with them. They were nice. They answered questions but they seemed very rushy, it was a very crowded home show. It was a short interaction. I did not go with them because of their price.
