Description of Work: I had a laundry room finished and remodeled to add a toilet. The work performed by Kaz was excellent as was any follow-up. They needed to sub-contract the plumbing work and that was the source of any issues that I had after the job was completed. However, for the couple of calls I had to make, someone was at the house relatively quickly and the issues were satisfactorily resolved.

Description of Work: They quoted a price to build an addition, then after we signed the contract, came back & said the concrete would cost an additional $9K. Gave us a start date but construction still hasn't begun. Communication with customer is not very good.

Description of Work: In 2006 or 2007 Kaz Brothers replaced the lower roof on my house, including some rotted decking, installing architectural shingles and full ice shielding. They also installed a ridge vent on my lower roof and blew in foam insulation under the roof decking. At $7000, I thought that was a bit expensive given the small surface area they worked on. I was happy with everything except that I specifically asked them on more than one occasion to install baffles between my vaulted ceiling joists in order to ensure any heat loss would flow directly up to the ridge vent and away, helping to prevent ice dams. They refused to do this. And this year (2014-2015) I had ice dams on this part of the roof that could have been prevented if they had installed baffles as I asked, because no matter how well a roof is insulated, there will ALWAYS be heat loss.
