The service rep was very through in both cleaning and testing the furnace to see if it was running within its manufactured specifications. He spent a couple of hours taking measurements of different heat rises and voltage readings. Around 15 to 20 items were checked. He found that the furnace was operating correctly with the exception of a small water leak from the heat exchanger. I was able to see the small leak and he gave me several options to remedy the situation. He said it wasn't critical and could be fixed when the weather improves. He was very friendly and explained what he was doing. I have an engineering background and understood what was checked and what needed attention. I was favorably impressed with his skill and knowledge. I would recommend BP for furnace work and would hire them to service my furnace.

We purchased a special deal through Angie's List for a Furnace tune-up and inspection. They were prompt about calling us, scheduling, and arriving. The technician was friendly and very thorough in making sure everything was in order and inspected. He noticed our humidifier filter needed replacement and sold us one he had with him and installed it. He explained everything to me very thoroughly. I will hire them again.

THE WORK WAS PROFESSIONAL AND HE FOUND PROBLEMS WITH THE FURNACE BUT DID NOT PRESSURE ME TO BUY ANYTHING RIGHT THEN.

The owner arrived on time and did a great job cleaning my furnace. I asked him several questions, and he took the time to answer each one. He was very pleasant and cleaned up after himself. I am very satisfied with the service he provided and will use him again.

The guy was very professional. He did his work in a reasonable amount of time, with little inconvenience to us. I like very much that he did not do a hard sell for new equipment, even though my furnace is getting a little old. I asked him for an additional quote, and he gave it to me. I had a new filter to install in the furnace. Mine is a real pain to put in. He did it without changing the price for the inspection. We had a good conversation at the end about the state of my furnace and what furnaces nowadays can do. But again, no pressure. I plan on using BP again.

Bp called right away and setup a date for the cleaning. They arrived on time and explained everything that was done. Would us this company again.

Great, he explained what he was doing and what to watch for re possible future problems.

Bought the big deal for the A/C tune up, they were very quick with scheduling the service, they came out a couple days later. The technician was thorough and explained everything to me and answered all my questions, which is a lot since this is my first house. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant, and helpful.

Cleaned my furnace.They also found that my home humidifier was not working & the previous company who I hired for a cleaning never informed me that it wasn't working. The previous company made a short note on the tag on my furnace, but did not communicate this to me verbally. I will call BP Residential Heating & Cooling in the fall to fix this problem. They explained in very understandable language what the problem was & gave my an approximate cost to fix the problem & then how I can maintain it myself in the spring & fall.

Service call will take place in May of 2015.

I scheduled an air conditioner tune-up through an Angie's List deal, which was easily done and the service provider was prompt and professional. There were some repairs that were recommended, with a thorough explanation and no pressure to have them done at that time. One part of a recommended repair had been done previously by a different provider at a higher cost. I was very pleased with the work done by BP Residential.

Mike was very nice, but he was an obvious salesman. He seemed pretty happy when I told him my unit had not been touched in 12 years. That being said, I knew I would need some things done to my air conditioning unit. He showed me everything that needed to be done, but when it came to just putting on electrical tape or putting some putty in around the hose to my house and he wanted to charge me, I wasn't very happy. He was also pushing to come back for one service so that he could have a service charge. He knew what he was doing, but I didn't like that a $60 check up also cost me another $300.

Got an Angie's List Deal for an a/c tune up. The scheduling was prompt, though he was supposed to arrive between 8-12 and didn't get there until 12:45pm (though did call at 11:45 to warn he was running late). Workman was professional and wore shoe covers in the house. Did the tune up and made a couple repairs to the a/c unit - which unfortunately meant spending more money than I was counting on, but repairs were needed. I would use them again.

It went fine, but the work that he did with the cement is already breaking apart and peeling off.

Identified need to change capacitor in A/C unit. Did it on the spot. The tune-up/check-up was part of an Angieslist deal and great value for money at $60 (not accounting for the cost of the capacitor and taxes).

The service was great. He was a nice guy and did what he could. They got the job done in about 30 minutes to one hour. The scheduling was good and they showed up right on time.

Provider was half a day late and didn't contact me to warn me about the situation - I had to call them to clear up what was going on. Turns out no one ever took down my phone number when I set up the appointment, and as such they "couldn't" call to tell me that the temperatures were too cool that morning to perform a proper check. However, they did have my email address and street address, so they could have either looked me up online to get my phone number or emailed me - but no one bothered. That was pretty irritating. Once the weather warmed up a little and the provider was actually in my home doing the work, I was happy with the service. There is an extra hidden fee and taxes (totaling approx $10) to be paid day-of-service that they don't tell you about when purchasing their coupon, so keep that in mind, but all of my questions were answered and I felt good about the quality of work when the provider left my residence. Would I call them again if I needed help with my A/C? Probably, but not definitely. I'm a stickler for punctuality and communication.

He was excellent and came up with other problems and was able to solve them. There was an issue that we didn’t take care of but he discovered that when the furnace was initially installed, they didn’t set up the humidifier because it was brand new. There is a plumbing issue to be taken care of for which we would be calling him again. There was a leak during the work so he fixed that for us too and was very handy.

We were happy with the service. Everything was explained very well, Mike and his partner were very nice and professional.

It went great. Contractor arrived as scheduled (even though I had forgotten). Took temperature readings and checked the air conditioner from top to bottom. He replaced a missing door screw as well as re-sleeved the copper side line outside as the old sleeve was pretty worn. Was very happy with the service I received and I would definitely not hesitate to call him again in the future.

Very pleased with their service. They were prompt and professional. We will definitely use them again.

Technician was very helpful and thorough

He was friendly and responsive, answering all of my questions. The job was completed in a reasonable time frame and seemed to me a bit more thorough than some previous inspection/cleanings.||This was an Angie's List Big Deal so I'm not sure that the price is meaningful. I was a bit surprised that there was an add-on price of $4.44 for tax (the advertised price was "Pre tax") though I don't recall there being any mention of that in the promotion, and an additional $5.00 plus tax for "Energy Management" which appears to be a standard surcharge for this company (it's pre-printed on their invoice form). These two items increased the price by $10.19 over the cost of the coupon.
