Everything went well. We got an appointment within a few days of our call. The electrician was prompt, professional and understood the job. It's sad this stands out so much, but after dealing with a bunch of companies in repairing and selling our house, these folks really stood out as being professional and competent. There's not much else to say... he did the job, showed me what was done and had me test it. He quickly did the wire check needed for our sale and wrote everything up in a way the bank was happy with. We'd definitely use them again. We chose their company based on their good Angie's list reviews and it turned out well. Full-disclosure, we didn't know it at the time, but on calling to make the appointment, it even turned out we knew their appointment scheduler Chelsea?and that part of the process was also clear, professional and friendly.

The 2 hours of work for $179 from Lon Lockwood Electric is a great deal. Line up your projects and materials, and be amazed at how much can be accomplished in such a short amount of time. Chris also did a thorough home safety inspection on the electrical system in our home. He made suggestions on upgrades. Every suggestion is in writing. Scheduling is very easy. The entire staff is very friendly and professional. Thanks to Angie's list for connecting me with Lon Lockwood Electric.

He (Chris) called prior to the appointment and gave me an approximate time he would arrive. He arrived promptly on time and was completely engaging and professional. He promptly applied booties over his street shoes and began addressing the concerns I had listed through 'Angie's List.' We went through the list and any other electrical upgrades on my ' Wish List.' He was absolutely thorough in his service, informative and provided both pros and cons of the electrical system in place. Before leaving I was given a written review of the electrical home inspection;a break down of my Wish List for future reference and a folder to retain all the documents provided. I absolutely adore him! I will be scheduling future work from the list we compiled. Thank You Angie's List!!!

Chris was awesome. Not only did he take care of the things that were our initial concern, he identified and resolved other safety issues as well. When he was done at our house, we had a much greater understanding of our electrical issues and the priority in which we should plan to address them.

It went very well, they got a technician here the same day we called. Chris was excellent, so pleasant to work with. He gave us recommendations for updates also. Vey satisfied!!

Highest rating is deserved by Lon Lockwood Electric. First Stephen came to take care my original work. He was professional, thorough in his work. When an issue arose shortly after this visit, Chris came to resolve it at no cost. Certainly not expected but he took care of it quickly. Both were very personable. From the office staff, to both techs Lockwood Electric is the absolute best! I am reccommending them to all my friends and colleagues. It is so good to find someone that I can trust to get the job done!

I am completely satisfied with their service not only are they very friendly and professional that are totally efficient on their service, they totally gained a new client.

There were no troubles with scheduling and there were no additional fees beyond the cost of deal. We were having some trouble with circuits overloading with our Christmas lights. He re-did some fuses and we discussed some other things I had wanted to do. He actually talked me out of the additional work while explaining that the cost was more than the benefit. Everything worked out great! I got more than my monies worth and I will use them again.

The appointment was scheduled promptly. Chris was able to find to causes of the problem and corrected them as well as adding an additional electrical box to bring the installation up to code. He kept me informed of his progress and explained everything.

I called Lockwood Electrical on Tuesday 6/17 and they were able to do the job on Friday 6/20. Chris was punctual, friendly, courteous and professional. It took much less time than originally thought. This company offered a 10% discount for Angie's List members. I had forgotten to bring the certificate with me but he gave me the 10% off anyway. I would definitely use this company again.

We contacted Lockwood Electricians (along with several other electricians) regarding an emergency electrical situation in December 2012. We'd used them before right after purchasing our home and they installed 2 ceiling fans, and replaced several outlets throughout our home that were very loose. We liked the direct pricing and professionalism of their company. The technician walked through went to the box and immediately determined the cause - we asked about replacing just the breaker and he stated they most likely didn't have that part and the next option would be to replace the box and while doing so it would be a great time to increase the size to prevent tripping (if we use holiday lights). It was around Christmas. Since we'd had other quotes by that time everyone was saying exactly the same thing. However, were others were attempting to find the part or had found it. This was not the option on this visit. It was a definite we don't have a breaker to replace that piece and the box needed replacing along with stating we shld increasing the size. Exterior items were identified by Lockwood and other electricians in relations to addressing the box which increased our cost. So, to replace a box and "possibly" increase the size wasn't an option for us. We knew we would be selling our home soon so we just wanted to properly and cost effectively fix the current issue. Our quote only included replacing the entire box, increasing the size (options) and the work on the exterior. So much higher than our other quotes. The technician was professional and knew what he talking about we just got more a sense of upselling from this visit.

Steve arrived on time. I showed him the lights I had purchased and after looking at them, he explained how they needed to be installed. He installed the lights and also removed an existing light from above the sink so that I could take the old bulb to the store and purchase a new one. I found Steve to be polite and helpful. I would definitely use Lockwood Electric again.

Bought a deal in Angie list. The young man that came in was professional, knowledgable very personable. He took the time to awnser all my questions , concerns and he was very thorough with everything. I highly recommend this company. The special was worth it .

Lon and one helper did the work. He was prompt and finished the designated work within the allotted timeframe. He advised us on what should be done, quoted the price and proceeded to do the job. He was friendly and helpful. We would use him again and recommend him to others.

Chris arrived on time with Lon Lockwood and they both were friendly and thorough. They explained the process and found the problem within 20 minutes the connection was fixed and Chris made sure everything was working properly.

Chris was professional, neat, polite, considerate of our home. He explained the work clearly, and offered good suggestions on proper maintenance. Our ceiling light/fan very old, and the another kitchen light also done poorly by a "handyman". The work was first rate, and the difference it makes in our kitchen is awesome. The quality and safety of electrical work is best done by a professional like Lockwood.

We have had Lon Lockwood Electric out before. Chris conducted our safety inspection, and updated our panel box and electric feed into the house in early 2013. During that time, we discussed all of the issues that exist in the house, and all of the things that could be completed to upgrade the electric service. We were very happy with the service during those encounters, and we specifically requested Chris to come back and complete the work this time. The only issue that we ran into was the appointment time - we had made the appointment time for 12:00 - 2:00, but that time should have been blocked out. Lon Lockwood called himself to explain the issue, and we simply moved the time forward to 10:00 - 12:00; it wasn't really even an issue. Chris took the time, again, to show us what issues were found during the upgrades, and took that time to explain why changes were being made. Chris seems to enjoy what he does and seems to be very knowledgeable about it. The cost can be a little hard to swallow, but it is a technical trade that requires education and experience that I certainly don't have. We will have them back to complete more projects.

The Tech. Steven, was very friendly, explained what he was doing, showed me all the old parts, some of which has been installed incorrectly or with poor workmanship etc. There was no high pressure sales approach; no 'your house will burn down if you don't have this done' etc. He and another Technician worked the second scheduled day to complete the work and the business owner Lon was also on the premises. We also found major work outside the home with storm damage which was recommended for replacement. Choices were explained and the work was done in one day, with work inside the basement, replacement of box etc. The Town inspector was here on Wednesday and he said it was quality work, no short cuts and top of the line replacement parts. He said insurance would never pay for this level of parts and the fuse box is the "Cadillac" for a residential setting. Clean up was as expected and I was comfortable being away from the home for several hours, knowing the team is professional and conscientious about what they are doing. My nest door neighbor asked me what had been done and she Is now interested in having Lon or one of his employees take a walk through at her home for a general evaluation.

The receptionist answered immediately, was very professional and friendly, and scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. Lon arrived early (after checking with me that it was ok) and quickly and neatly completed installation of two ceiling light fixtures. He did a walk-around inspection and checked the outlets that they had previously replaced - everything was in good working order. He also pointed out a few areas of old wiring to consider updating in the future, but did not pressure me to have it done that day. This is my third experience with Lockwood Electric and I have been very satisfied with all of their work and their courteous, professional service from start to finish.

I like everything about them. They are very professional and reliable. They are protective of your property and use ingenuity to improve the lighting and the quality of the lighting in your home. They were great.
