He was a pleasure to deal with. I can't think of anything that would have made the experience better.

Most unprofessional business I have dealt with in a long time! First, I called and left a message and no one returned my call. The next day I called back and a lady answered and stated she could give me an estimate over the phone.. Impressive huh. I tried to explain to her that it was a portion of the gutter that only the straps needed replacing. She said they only put a whole new gutter on.. And she gives me a price of 175 with me giving her a complete guesstimate of how much gutter needed replacing. I ask her if it is longer than what I estimated would it be more, as well as explaining that the inspection guy told us the straps should cost us around 100 dollars to replace. At this time, she tells me to use the guy who gave me that estimate (who was no one since it was the inspection guy) and hangs the phone up. All of this could have been avoided by simply coming to my house and giving me an estimate or having some people skills and not being so unprofessional!

The gutters on my house where not sized correctly and would overflow with moderate to heavy rain. This caused the fascia to rot in two locations. In less than a week, Dave provided a detailed estimate and completed the gutter, downspout, and fascia replacement at a very reasonable price. The front of the house and the roof gutter line has never looked so good. The most significant aspect of the new gutters is that the first substantial downpour of rain just occurred. That amount of rain always overflowed the old clean gutters. Now with the new 6? gutters and the added downspout there were no overflows ! ! ! Thanks and I would highly recommend Dave and his son Jeremy to take care of your gutter needs.

Did not do all the work agreed upon and paid for. Did not respond to phone calls. Will NOT use or refer in the future.

My previous gutters had used the long spikes but these have brackets that screw in. Better by far. I would definately use them again.

I called Dave yesterday and left a message about a broken gutter on the front of our house. He called me back the next morning and within an hour he and his son were at my house working on the job. They were very friendly, professional & the new gutter they put up looks great. His son even caulked a downspout on the side of the house as it was leaking a bit. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them this Spring/Summer when we replace the rest of the gutters on the house. A+!!

David Catalino responded to my telephone request for a meeting and estimate. It took three phone calls over a period of three plus weeks. The firm was busy. He provided an estimate which was acceptable and began work within a week. The existing house includes a recently installed metal roof that necessitated a modification to the fascia at the perimeter of the roof overhang to allow the gutters to catch the water properly. The work included removal of the existing gutter and downspouts, installation of fascia modifications, and new gutters and downspouts. The new material that was selected matched the existing paint color of the house. The entire project was completed in less than two days. David was professional, courteous, and very experienced. He adjusted his standard product to accommodate the metal roof, including the attachment of the gutter. I requested a quote for gutter repair and the installation of gutter guards online. Three days later I called the company directly and left a message, mentioning that I had requested a quote and asking for a call back even if they were unable to provide the service, just so that I would know. I did not hear anything back.

Never even received a call back or email after two attempts to reach this provider - one website request for service and one phone call. They at least could have let me know they were not able to handle my request for a quote. Not Professional.

They were great. They came out for the estimate the day after my call and were there within a day or two to do the work. It was done without any noticable distrubance. All was clean when they left. The man I talked to was polite and delivered exactly what was promised. They did exactly what I asked and did not try to oversell me. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Perfect! Dave come out and did an estimate to replace our gutters the day we called them. The crew came a few days later. They did a great job at a great price. I waited to post this review until we had a good rain; the gutters did not leak a bit. I used an estimator website for monroe county to estimate the cost for all new gutter replacements and DJ Catalino beat that estimate very easily. I highly recommend this contractor.

Everything was smooth, absolutely no complaints. Dave is timely and responsive.

Based on the high ranking and all the great comments/reviews here on Angie's List, I decided that it would be a good bet to have these folks do my gutter repair work. So, I called two weeks ago and received a recording asking to leave name, contact number, and nature of work to be done. I waited a week, and received no response. I called again (this time, first thing in the morning) and spoke with someone who took all my information and said that Dave would be out sometime by the middle or end of the week. Again, no call ... no show. I tried again this week to make contact ... left another message and again, no response. So, I guess they don't want/need the business. In my opinion, even if your that busy, a courtesy call letting a potential customer know, is all it takes. I will be calling someone else to do the work. This Angie's List recommendation was a bummer for me.

Very responsive. Quality work.

No problems. He identified a simple problem - a stopped up downspout, removed the debris, adjusted the gutter. Only about a 30 minute job. Owner was pleasant, knowledgeable and I would use again in needed gutter work!

Simply, we called and he came out in a matter of days and got the job done and then decided to add some addtional work and he came back with days after the request was make and completed the job once again to perfection. He is rated tops. Dr. George Corella

We had water in our basement after some very hard thundershowers. We suspected that it was caused by the gutter being flooded at a place where there was no downspout. I called DJ Exteriors in the morning and they were able to come out before Noon. Don was very customer-oriented and had the problem taken care of by 2 PM on the same day. I was very impressed that it was handed so quickly. The work was done very well and they were all very professional.

Our experience with him was great. He was on time and I can't say enough good things about him. He is very fair in pricing and he really knows what he's doing.

I didn't receive a response to my first phone message but because of the excellent customer feedback on Angie's List, I thought I'd call one more time. This time I received a call back and David was out to our house the same day. David got on the roof and examined the gutter in question, determined the probable cause and addressed what seemed to be the cause and a couple other contributing causals at the same time. He suggested we wait to see if the problem is solved to our satisfaction but if not asked that we call him to replace the gutter. Based on this experience, I will definitely call David back if the problem persists or if other gutter work is indicated.

A bit of back and forth to get a price and date (website response toook longer than I expected - so I called.) Once I called - the estimate was for a neighbor's house number and needed to be re-quoted. But after that was settled - work done quickly and to my statisfaction. Informal quotation and invoicing. After an issue with a cosmetic change - the company came back on site and resolved it the next day. Very easy to work with and I am very happy with the results.

Daniel responded immediately to my phone inquiry for an estimate. He came that day to give me an estimate and arrived when he said he would. He gave me a detailed estimate so I could decide about the extras of the leaf guards and the rain barrel. I thought the rain barrel was a bit expensive, but the barrel was of really good quality and they installed it on several large patio blocks and installed a diverter that will kick in when I want, or when there is an overflow. He was able to schedule me very quickly (within a few days of my original call) and his crew came right on time in the morning when they said they would. They were really fast ripping off the old gutters and installing the new ones. In fact, it only took about 2-3 hours and that included the taking away of the old stuff and cleaning up. Daniel answered all my questions I had about installing the new gutters so they would drain properly, unlike my old ones. He explained how they would be spiking the gutters in not the same places as the old ones. I am very pleased with the results and my experience with DJ Catalino Exteriors. They deliver what they say they will and I recommend them highly.

I emailed them through Angie's List on early Saturday morning, asking to set up an appointment as soon as possible to get an estimate, requesting contact by email. Unfortunately I did not get a response until Sunday, and then over the phone, not email. That's my only real complaint, and why I gave a B for responsiveness. The good news is, I got an estimate over the phone, after answering a few questions. They said they could come and replace my gutter the next day (Monday), sometime in the afternoon. I was satisfied with the estimate and knew I'd be around all day on Monday, so I agreed. They arrived a little after 1:15 PM, which is just about when I'd hoped, and they got to work right away after a brief outline of the work they'd do. They got it done in about an hour or hour and a half, and they seemed to be quite efficient and professional. Once it was done they informed me that the work cost exactly what the estimate was, and I wrote them a check as they packed up their truck. I certainly hope to never need another gutter replacement, but if I ever do, I know I'll use DJ Catalino Exteriors again.

From start to finish, from asking for an estimate to completion of work, the Catalino family (David, Cheryl and Jeremy) were just wonderful. They were prompt, courteous, friendly, responsibly communicative and sensitive to our budgetary needs/contraints; David didn't try to over-sell... and the finished work was done quickly and professionally. David went the extra mile when installing our specialty item (a rainbarrel), and also informed us that since he was getting the barrel at a sale price lower than the original estimated quote, he passed the savings down to us. Kinda of rare for a contractor to be that honest! it went very well. Contacted David for an estimate for a gutter replacement in the morning and by the afternoon he was there assessing the situation. He was very professional and provided suggestions on what he could do to fix the water issues. We have a sunporch with built-in gutters that were leaking. David was honest in stating that they couldn't be replaced, but that he would attempt to fix the leaking. After 3 additional quotes for the job, we decided on DJ Catalino based on his quick response, professionalism and excellent Angies List ratings/reviews. 4 business days later, we had new gutters. The new gutters look great!

It went very smoothly. They made the gutters right there in my driveway, and it didn't take long at all for them to get them up. I wanted gutter guards, and they installed those also although I had to buy them from Home Depot.
