Heard good things from others, so I paid in full before complete. Neighbor gave us a hard time about one side. He assured me they would finish or refund me. One of his guys went next door to ask neighbor to cooperate. He ended up knowing them and was just chatting when I went over. They did finish the harder side. I gave up on the other side. And called for a refund. I didnt ask for half. Just 20%, even though job was only 60% done. He said he would get back to me. Never did. When I called again kept making excuses saying they did most of it. One side was not done. And was maybe $50 in materials and 10 minutes of time to hang it. Will not use or recommend again.

The gutters went up and looked OK, but in the following year occasionally people looking at the house or working on it commented on the way the gutters were attached to the house. Finally a thorough home inspection revealed that the straps were not properly attached to the house and that the gutters were pulling away and that ice damming was likely a problem. Bottom line: DONT HIRE. They refused to do anything to remedy their faulty installation.

Great. Their response time was excellent. Punctual, reasonably priced.

Dave and his crew were great. I was lucky with the timing, and within 2 days of the estimate, the gutters were in. I purchased leaf guards and they installed those as well. They went above and beyond, finding some openings birds frequent, and plugged them. Also, they re-fastened some loose siding for me. Price was good, coming in at almost half of my previous estimate from a larger outfit. Will recommend to friends and family.

They job was done quickly and well. I did have to call them back to fix one problem, no hassles. I appreciate that they were also able to help with the piece of siding that had become loose.

Great!!! We called for an estimate and Dave Catalino came out to our house that very same afternoon. We accepted his estimate they came the next day did the work and were done. Top notch service! Dave was so nice, we were very comfortable with him. Dave and his crew, Jeremey and Rich (Viking) were so professional, hard working and friendly. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend them. If we ever needed their services again, DJ Catalino would be the only company we would call.

I cant' say enough good about Dave and his crew. Dave was friendly, amiable, accommodating, and professional with me and my husband. The crew took one ten minute break while waiting for material to arrive, otherwise they worked non-stop. Every joint was perfect and each pitch was evenly match per side. The 125 year old house required creative solutions with precision accuracy. The architectural gutters look great and function as expected. Dave inspected the progress two times during the install. The old gutters were disposed of and the grounds were cleaned up well before they departed. I'd hire them for my private home.

DJ was very responsive and his crew completed the job in 1 day. I appreciated that he stuck to his original price, especially when he realized the gutters they were removing were tied in under the original cedar shingles. This added some extra time for the job because the original gutters had to be cut off. He is very experienced and you can tell he enjoys all things gutters. Great job, would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Had a little trouble connecting at first, but worth the wait. David is a personable, knowledgeable guy, provided a quick and reasonable estimate, and his crew did a great job on a challenging, large house. David came back the next day to inspect the work, and buttoned up some small items. I would recommend their services highly.

The initial installation was done well however there were a few issues that occurred after the installation (one of the corners leak, there is a nail sticking in the down spout that catches leaves etc. and one of the gutters on the back of the house is too small. I have called 6 times over the past 6 months and every time Dave promises to come over to address the issues but never shows up. Dave was at my house every week trying to sell the job to me but clearly he does not care about service after the sale. At this point I am going to have to hire another company at my expense to fix the mistakes made by this company

Owner stopped by to measure, show us a color card, and give estimate. Scheduled job for within the week. When arrival was delayed, he called and made their plans clear. Arrived at agreed upon time with three helpers. The downspouts were tested to make sure water ran clearly through the French drains according to our property design. The crew worked efficiently and got the entire project done within 3 hours. Very friendly. Very professional.

Office person, Marge(?), was super friendly and helpful. They did the quote quickly and efficiently and then when we decided to go with them, the parts were ordered and the work was done within a week and a half. Professional job and they also said if they ever leak, call them and they will come and take care of it. Highly recommend their company for seamless gutters!

I had arranged for four estimates on this job being very careful to make sure that the specifications were identical. DJ Catalino is a small family owned business and when I called for an estimate I was told up front that they were very busy and it might be a week or more before Dave (owner) could come by. I went ahead and got 3 other quotes ranging from a high of $3,300 to a low of $1,560. I was about to go ahead with the second lowest quote of $1,620 when Dave showed up in my driveway. He is a great guy with over 30 years of gutter experience much of which has been through his own company. He has also been bringing his son Jeremy along in the business and letting him run jobs. Either one or both of them is on every job. Dave measured up the job and advised me on some ways that I could save some $$ and other ways to make the gutters perform better. I was really impressed with him and he is a very likable guy. No frills or fancy stuff about DJ Catalino!! Before he left he provided me with a pencil written quote and said that his wife would send me a typewritten quote later. $960!! Same manufacturer of materials, same aluminum gauge, everything EXACTLY the same as the other guys with one big difference as far as I can tell...overhead. I agreed to the price and asked him to put me in the schedule. He was hoping for the following Friday but called me and said that they had gotten slowed down on a job and needed to re-schedule for the following Tuesday. No problem with me..things happen. Tuesday came and he called me to tell me that Jeremy and a helper would be at my house at about 10:00. Jeremy and his helper Rich arrived and got right to work. Even though they were missing a guy on the crew due to illness it didn't slow them down. They really did work together like a well oiled machine and Rich told me that he had worked with Jeremy for 10 years and they kind of knew what each other was thinking. Dave stopped by a couple of times to help out with cleanup and 4 1/2 hours after they started they were completely done and completely cleaned up. My brand new shiny gutters were correctly installed with the right pitch and with new screw in hangers. I could not be happier with my decision to use DJ Catalino for my gutter work and they will go on my "highly recommended " list of contractors if friends ask.

It hasn't gone anywhere. Wondering if Angie's list is afraid also because this is poor business practices.

Great service! The crew was fast, efficient, and easy to deal with. Dave was fair with his price compared to several other quotes I received for the same job.

I sent a message through Angie's List with three upcoming dates between 3 and 7 days in the future, but I got no response. Seven days later, I received a message on the site that they were having computer problems and to call. I called a couple days after that message. I spoke with a woman (I didn't get her name) who asked if I was the person with 3 properties. I said I had two?if that was the person she thought I was. She said I'd get a call back, but I said she had the wrong person. I could hear a phone ring on her end, and she hung up. I figured we were accidentally disconnected, but I didn't get a call back, and after the rude and dismissive conversation I just had, I decided not to pursue working with this company.

The work was done neatly, professionally and on time. Wonderful job!

A 35-foot gutter was damaged and fell off our house. I called Catalino on June 24. They quoted a price of $125-$150 on the phone to replace the gutter and said the work would be done by June 30. Due to inclement weather the work was done on July 1. They replaced the gutter and cleared the downspout (which didn't need replacing). The job took about 2 hours. Final cost was $125. An excellent, professional job.

After seeing many positive reviews on Angie's list, I requested a quote online to repair my downspouts and look into the cost of replacing all of my gutters. Submitted a request for a quote using the online form on their website, but have yet to hear a reply (2 months later). I understand it's the bust season for outdoor contractors, but it's also not unreasonable to expect a quote or return call within a reasonable period of time.

We were very happy with the whole experience. We called and got quotes. Dave showed up and we had the quotes within days for both houses. We opted for the larger gutters and downspouts. They are heavy duty and are holding up well. We have a raised ranch and my mother has a ranch house. On our house, Dave changed the pitch and added a downspout front and back so that the main house roof gutters will drain at both ends. This took some of the burden from the downspouts at the south end of the house which were carrying all the water from the roof. Now, half of it empties down into the garage gutter and out the north end. The job was started and the gutters installed when Dave said they would be and were finished and cleaned up within 2 days. We were very happy and would highly recommend Dave.

First impressions are not always what they seem. One of the main reasons I signed up for Angie?s list is that it?s next to impossible to get a contractor to show up to look at the project, and when they do show up is responsive enough to follow up with an estimate much less a written proposal. I got tired of contractors promising the moon and delivering rocks. Because all of the great reviews on DG Catalino Exteriors, I decided to give it another try. I called them on a Friday to schedule an appointment and what a complete shock when the owner of the company, Dave, said he would come to my house the next day, a Saturday. Can you believe it; he even said he would be at my house between 10am and noon. I was so impressed. I waited until around 2pm thinking he got side tracked, no one showed up and NO ONE CALLED. I basically wasted a Saturday waiting for Dave the owner. Not wanting to give up because I?m desperate I called back the following Tuesday. I spoke to the lady who answers the phone she, the same lady who took the original call, and she was clueless as to why Dave failed to show up. She said maybe because it was raining that morning or Dave simply forgot to transfer his appointment schedule from one book to another. What a a lame excuse, particularly because when I spoke with Dave I explained the problem I was having with the gutters occurred when it was raining. It would have been ideal for him to see first hand where the gutters were overflowing. Long story short?she said she would have Dave call me to reschedule. It?s been over a week and I?m still waiting for that call. I went back on Angie's list and read more reviews and unfortunately wish I had read more of the negative reviews. Oh well in hindsight this was a blessing, because if this contractor is this unresponsive in coming to my house to give me an estimate so that I can PAY HIM to do a job for me, how responsive would they be when I need warranty work?
