Crossfield Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: They installed a new hot water heater. |This is the 2nd time I have used Crossfield. I also had them install a new furnace & AC system. |I was happy with them both times. They come when expected, do the job and clean up very well after themselves. |Maybe I could find someone less expensive but I know that with Crossfield I will get professional treatment from beginning to end and that is worth it.

Description of Work: We are very happy with the job they did and the furnace we bought.

Description of Work: Crossfield removed our 40+ year old old furnace and replaced it with a new Trane furnace + humidifier + air conditioning system. They arrived on time and completed the job in ~8 hours. They removed all old equipment and cleaned up prior to leaving. The crew was friendly and helpful assisting us in getting the WiFi enabled thermostat configured and operational. We are very pleased with the unit so far and already notice an improvement in heat balance throughout our home.

Description of Work: Todd gave me a very thorough estimate of what he would do and he did it as he proposed. He replaced two power dampers in my attic solar system. He allowed me to provide the dampers and do as much of the work myself as I wanted to do which saved me several hundred dollars. He was very professional, helpful and friendly.

Description of Work: I was in need of a new furnace and I was not sure who to call. I got on Angie and I saw the ratings for Crossfield and I decided to call and I am glad that I did. The salesman was so nice and gave me all the options, including a financing option and I had it paid for in 6 months. Will definately use them again. I will be in need of an air conditioner.

Description of Work: I got a new furnace & AC unit. |First the salesman was very thorough and gave me all the info and then some. |After agreeing to use them I had my pick of convenient install dates. |Took a little less than a full 8 hour day to do it all. Workers were courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and showed me the things I would need to know after the install. |It was one of the COLDEST winter days and still the man who did the outside AC unit would not stop. I was willing to let them come back another day to do it but they said no and did it all - and with humor and a smile. |Subsequent contacts to either salesman or office for a question were handled very quickly. |I gave price a B because one, I always feel that maybe I can get it cheaper and 2 it is not something I purchase every so often that I can really compare if I got a good price. But I do know that Crossfield, if even a little more expensive has the best warranty out there. |

Description of Work: Routine furnace cleaning which was done to my satisfaction. While this review is pinned to a particular date my opinion of Crossfield Heating is formed over many years of solid service. I have used other contractors and they are generally competent - but sometimes lack the end-to end good performance from the person who answers the phone to the technicians who do the work. Little courtesies such as wearing shoe booties and thoroughly cleaning up the work area make a difference in my book. They may not be the least expensive (and by no means are high priced - I comparison shop from time to time) but the old adage 'you get what you pay for' applies here.
