Fantastic. Got me in same day. Very knowledgeable and professional. The technician even swept out my garage! Really? Who still provides that extra touch of service. These guys do. Will definitely use them again when the other motor gives out. Very fair price.

Very well. I'd had Joe here for a garage door 'tune-up' special offered on Angies List 2-3 years ago & still had his card, so I emailed and then called him. It was 7:45 at night & the door wouldn't open, so I was stuck. Joe promised to be there in the AM and arrived at 7:45, got the door open so I could get my car out, and returned 45 minutes later with new springs for the double-size door. The entire job was done in about an hour and a half from his arrival. He was also helpful when I asked some questions about the motor's likely lifespan & discussed options re: replacement when needed. I was very happy that I still had his card!

They also reviewed the other doors cables and springs and determined preventative replacement for a fair price.

The whole process was perfect. I called Joe around noon and the job was completed less than 24 hours later. Joe was friendly, easy to speak with, and was happy to discuss pricing and share his expertise over the phone. I wanted to confirm the pricing we spoke about, so he came out to look. He honored an extra discount because I mentioned Angie's List, and I was given a very fair price that I was comfortable with. After meeting him, I felt confident in his company’s ability to get this job done right. His technician arrived the next morning as scheduled and was friendly to my wife and children while he did his work. He was polite, clean, and it would be very difficult to even know that the work had been performed because there were no remnants or scraps left behind. The end result looks beautiful, works great, is technologically friendly (wifi enabled!), and a VERY reasonable price for any home repair. We feel silly we didn't do this a few years ago since it was a very cost effective way to improve the value of our home in literally less than a day!

Came over the day after my initial call and fixed it right up, including reinstalling the entire track of the spring in one door's case (unexpected). Punctual, easy, professional -- no nonsense. Will totally hire again when doors need total replacement. Feel like this short review doesn't do them justice for the quality of work done.

Joe was pleasant to work with during the initial site visit and over the phone during the ordering process. He is very knowledgeable and is a "straight shooter". The correct door was ordered, and he even provides a customized graphic of what it will look like on your house. While Joe did not do the installation himself, one of his technicians did, it came out great. They were very professional, knew what they were doing, and did a high quality installation. The door operates smoothly, it is very quiet, and sealed correctly. This is an above average installation.

Great! I called on Saturday afternoon and received a return call in minutes! Joe Greene was at my house an hour or so later, got my door open, and said he would send Jeff Monday to replace the opener. I arrived home from work Monday to find my new opener, keypad and two remotes - all operating perfectly. This is my second experience with Joe Greene and his company and it is by far one of the best customer service experiences I have eve had! Really excellent! Thank you!!

This is our second time using Greene Overhead Door for a garage door repair at our home and it won't be our last.? Both experiences have been pleasant - Joe & his staff have proved to be extremely prompt (same day service on the most recent call!), efficient and reasonable. Woke up Sunday morning to find out the garage door spring was broken, and I had two cars trapped in the garage. I was able to get two other guys over to open the door manually and get the cars out--emergency avoided. I called Joe Greene that morning and he answered the phone---not an answering machine but a real human. i explained the situation and he said he could send someone over the next day. Jeff, a technician, showed up before noon on Monday and had the door repaired in less than an hour. He was personable, courteous, and professional. I really appreciate Joe's concern for us and his rapid response. No question that I would use him in the future and highly recommend him to others.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Joe Greene. I couldn't recommend him more highly!!! I started my process by calling Joe for advice on my old delaminating Masonite overhead doors. He was not the least bit high pressure told me what my struggles might be to find replacement panels for the old doors but gave me the resources, who were other overhead door firms, to contact if that was the path I wanted to choose. After some investigation it was clear the smart choice were new doors. As a result I immediately gave Joe a call. Joe called me back in less than 15 minutes of my message to him, even though he was riding on I-95 heading to Florida for a week. He sent me door info that same night and a few days later had taken pictures of my garage. The very next day he emailed me pictures of my garage with a few door choices superimposed onto my garage. After we selected a few colors on the website Joe dropped off actual samples of the 3 colors we were considering. We ordered the doors and Joe indicated they had a 3 week lead time for the ones we chose. They actually came in in just 2 weeks. Joe did an absolutely GREAT job of installing them. We love our new doors and the service that we got from Joe.

Excellent job, Joe gave me the $100.00 discount and the took another $100.00 off because he didn't have to cart away the old door. Other estimates did not offer either. I got $200.00 and a BETTER door than the other guys. If you live in the Capital District try Joe and his crew, outstanding service.

This went great! When the spring broke, i could not get the door open. Mr Green came Sunday evening, repaired the broken spring which allowed the door to open so we could bet cars out of the garage. The following day, a service rep came and removed/replaced the broken spring. This is outstanding service. Other firms I called did not answer their phones so I left a message. Greene had weekend hours which is simply the best.

Joe was very responsive. After I left a message to request a quote, he called back within an hour. He came to the house to provide a quote the next day, and after we decided to use his business, he was able to schedule the work for the next day. Joe was very professional and friendly, and I felt good about him standing behind the quality of his work. The worker who actually installed the doors was also very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job with the installation (for example, all wires were run straight and tacked nicely to the wall). Joe even came out to check the work as the worker finished up to ensure I was happy. I would definitely recommend Greene Overhead Door to others, and we will be using them again when we get around to changing the actual garage doors (not just the openers).

Discovered my garage door would not open around 9:00am and called Greene as he was rated #1 on Angies List. I got through to Joe and described my problem. He said he'd have someone over by mid-afternoon. At noon, Jeff arrived and replaced the springs and tuned up the entire system. It now works fine. I was very pleased with the prompt response and the work done.

It went perfectly. Mr. Greeme was on top of things .... responded much sooner than other installers, installed the door very quickly and did a great job. We accidentally damaged the door a few months later and Greene's Overhead Doors came ASAP to fix it. This guy knows how to run a business and he provides awesome customer service.

Green Overhead Doors installed a new garage door and opener in our home. Joe Green did a great job of assessing our needs and providing options/recommendations. We got 2 other estimates and they were all in the same ballpark, but Joe Green seemed the most knowledgeable. The door installation went well and everything works as advertised (even the WIFI connection to the door). The door looks great, and the installers were professional and punctual. My only complaint was that we ordered the door in mid-October and were told 3-6 weeks. There was a delay in getting the doors from the manufacturer, so the time from payment to installation actually took 12 weeks. However, Joe responded to all of my emails during that time. Overall I would recommend Green Overhead Doors.

After discovering the garage door was stuck down on New Year's Day due to the torsion spring breaking I decided to call Greene Overhead Door based on their Angie's List rating.I left a message on the answering machine and was pleasantly surprised when Joe Greene actually called back within minutes.He apologized for being unavailable the following day which was Saturday for which he was booked solid.We scheduled the service for Monday at 10AM. His service tech Jeff arrived promptly and went to work and had the spring changed out in about a half hour.He then checked and lubricated the entire door assembly.No more squeak when the door goes up! I am very pleased with this company and will use them for all my future servicing and replacement needs.

Joe Green and his team did a truly outstanding job. On time, clean, diligent and professional they did the whole job in a day with hardly a break. The new doors are huge improvement and after one month of use we have not had an issue. I would heartily recommend Green Overhead Door - every home improvement company should be run this well!
