Greene Overhead Door

Jeff came to confirm door weight and installed the two springs on the same day. He noticed that the door rails were not parallel and that the poured concrete foundation was pushing the rails in making the door tight. He returned the next day with a concrete saw blade to make room for proper location of the rails. The contract was $400 for labor and parts. For an additional $200, he installed two garage door openers I had purchased at Lowe's the night before. Before leaving, he cleaned up all the dust and debris created by grinding the concrete. Overall, he was very professional, courteous, and conscientious, and I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Did an excellent job; the garage door acts like it's brand new. He also has an email based receipt and paying system that I really like (it's very easy to use). I definitely recommend him for whatever garage door problems you might have.

My garage door opener unit stopped working over the weekend. I called Greene Overhead Door on Monday afternoon and they said they could arrive in 1 hour. They arrived ahead of schedule and took the time to review the status of the garage door opener. While they could have tuned it to get it fixed, it was old enough that I opted for a new chain-driven opener installation. They estimated 1.5 hours to install but finished in 1 hour. I was given a terrific comprehensive overview of the new opener and confirmed all possible parts of the opener to be functional. I found Greene Overhead Door to be realistic in their assessment of my needs and only offered what they felt I truly needed, no pressured upsells. I'll use them again and recommend them to others.

Awesome! I contacted the owner Monday morning at 8:30AM to schedule an appointment. The install was done on the same day and completed at approximately 10:30AM. Excellent Service by Shane! I will use this company again in the future!

We had called a few places and Greene was not only was willing to work with our schedule but they could give us a very quick estimate — in fact, we learned they had already replaced doors for several of our neighbors and they all looked great. Work was done on time and with professionalism. We are very pleased with results and the price for new door, labor and disposal of old door was very reasonable

Called Joe Greene Monday (12/11/17) morning after I discovered the firm that installed the door in 2008 was no longer in business and trying another Angie's List firm that couldn't touch the job until the next week. Joe arrived a day ahead of schedule at 4 PM on Monday. He quickly identified and corrected the problems with the spring and cable assembly and repositioned the Genie Door Opener so it would operate more efficiently. He thoroughly checked and adjusted the system for proper operation. Forty-five minutes were spent on the job.

Excellent job! Communication was excellent. Provided all options available to me from quick repairs to replacement with pricing for everything. Showed up right on time for both estimate and installation. Replaced everything including rails springs pulleys etc. Removed all debris from old doors.

Great! I called on a Sunday and Joe answered the phone. I had the new door installed by that Wednesday. I was very impressed with the responsiveness.

Jeff replaced the spring, then noticed the metal had split at the top of the door, where the garage door opener was attached. He bolted an angle-iron rod across the top to reinforce the join. The 22 year old door is now functional, but should be replaced. Service was prompt, professional, and courteous. Nice job. Very much appreciated.

The overhead door and lift works perfectly. Punctual, accommodating, neat. Good clean up.

I called at 7pm at night and the guy came the next morning to replace both garage door openers. The owner was great to work with and flexible with cost. I didn't even realize we could get a discount for being an Angie's customer but he applied it without asking.

Call Greene Overhead Door on 5/7/17 because our garage door opener had fallen off the wall and the door was stuck. Joe Greene said he would have someone out mid-morning the next day. I sent him a couple pictures of the problem so he could see what was going on. At 9 AM on 5/8/17, Joe called back and said Jeff would be there at 10:30 AM. Jeff was on time and fixed the problem, made corrections to the other door opener and installed trim around both doors. Extremely professional and the cost was per the estimate. Great job and a pleasure to do business with.

Repair was same day. Replacement very soon afterward. Cost of repair waived for replacement. Very satisfied.

Joe and his team were extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. One of his installers completed the site survey and took measurements to determine exactly what was needed, and they installed everything on the day I requested. They installed everything I needed and nothing I didn't. Excellent!

It's always on a night or weekend, it seems! And Joe always comes through right away. I emailed him on Sunday PM after the door wouldn't close, and he called me within the hour. He stayed on the phone with me as I moved the car out of the garage and then released the emergency latch and pulled the door down. I had to be out of the house early this AM, and he offered to have this done while I was out. He gave me a temporary code for the new Liftmaster keypad so that I could get in when I returned. His assistant Jeff arrived & called me around 9 AM, did the job, set the code, vf x& left the openers & manual in the garage for me. Joe called later to settle the invoice. I'm so grateful to know that I can rely on this business; Joe really has been a lifesaver for me twice now, and I'd recommend him for any door or motor replacement. He's extremely responsive, professional, and safety conscious. The price was very reasonable, too.

I looked up overhead door specialists on Angie's List right away & found's Greene's Overhead Doors with some great reviews, so I called & left a message saying what happened. At 6:28am the following morning, Joe called & said he could get someone to my house by 8am. Jeff showed up at 8am & was able to get me out of the garage so I could get to work on time. I was able to get a quote from Joe before I left for work (Joe was able to see what my existing door looked like using Google Maps) and by 5pm, the job had been completed. The door looks & works great! The price was exactly what I thought it would be. Joe sent me an invoice online. This was the most thorough, quick & professional job I could imagine. I definitely recommend Greene's Overhead Door for anyone's garage door needs. Bob H.
