Javier Ruiz Hardwood Flooring and Painting

Javier and his team were very professional and always on time. We had the hardwood floors refinished in two rooms, hallways and stairs. They look beautiful and were done in a very timely manner! We have already recommended him to our friends. We would certainly hire Javier again with no hesitancy.

Javier and his team did a great job on our floors - so good, we had him come back and paint! Very thorough, totally revived our very scuffed and scratched floors. Did drywall repairs before paining; everything looks brand new!

The floors look fantastic. This was my third time employing Javier, as he and his team also painted an interior house and exterior house for our family. As always, Javier was meticulous with his prep work, which ensures that the job goes smoothly. He was working with pre-finished wood provided by a local mill and it came in random widths (everything from 4 inches to 8 inches wide). He did a beautiful job alternating widths to make the flooring look natural. His precision in cutting the flooring left no gaps, and he was particularly careful around the radiators. He had to repair a huge hole in the sub flooring, and did so excellently. We had a Memorial Day weekend deadline set for him, and he worked hard to meet that deadline - which he did! He and his team were also so friendly and helpful - he even helped me move back a very heavy cast iron wood stove when the job was complete. I'm very appreciative and plan to hire him again.

Javier and his wife were amazing to work with! We hired Javier to redo our main area hardwood flooring. He responded quickly, came out the next day for an estimate and started 2 days later. He was trustworthy and finished the job in a great timely manner. We loved our floors so much, we reached out the next day to have him do our bedrooms. He was able to squeeze us in and finish 3 bedrooms in just 3 days. Would absolutely hire again!

Javier and his crew did a beautiful job painting the exterior of our house. The work was challenging in several areas, with 3-story back and side painting, as well as plenty of window frames and other details to paint. As truly professional painters, they were thorough and committed to excellence. As an extra, a particularly windy night left one of our shutters blown off and they repaired and reinstalled it without any extra costs. They also helped reinstall a rain gutter that had also been damaged in the storm. All in all, they did outstanding work and were great to work with.

Phenomenal, responsive and quick ! Our floors needed a lot of work. We have 4 dogs sometimes more so as you can imagine they were pretty roughed up. Javier took his time and our house looks brand new. Highly recommend!

When we moved in our condo, I hated the floor and was counting the days to have it done. Due to the pandemic and having a newborn, we were scared to have someone come fix the floor. Javier assured us that he would follow the CDC safety guidelines and complete the work. He was professional, courteous, friendly and understanding. Although the previous contractors did a horrible job on our kitchen floor, Javier was able to fix some of their work and made the floor look remarkably new. We will definitely refer and call him in the future.

Previous owners painted over hardwood floors. Needed some repair as well. Big job and he did it splendidly! And did not break the bank. Excellent service and responded to all texts quickly. Went above and beyond. A+ would recommend.

Javier did an excellent job sanding and refinishing the floors. He was patient in helping me find the stain color that worked and, when it wasn't available locally, he travelled to get the color. The floors look great and the cabinets look better.

Javier is excellent. Our floors are GORGEOUS! He covered everything with plastic so the dust would not get all over, but also vacuumed and cleaned beautifully after each day of work. Great! Deck was completely sanded, and stained and given 2 coats of spar polyurethane. It has never looked better!
