Branker's Appliance Repair

I called the company on 5/26/15 and explained that my Frigidaire ice maker was not making ice. They scheduled an appointment for the next day between 10am and 12 noon. The tech arrived at 11am. He pulled the ice maker out of the freezer and pulled the freezer out from the wall. After doing some checking, and asking me when I last changed the filter (I hadn't since I moved in a couple of years ago- now I know), he said all I needed was to replace the ice/water filter. He took the old one out and showed me how to change it. A very simple thing to do. He didn't have any so I went to Home Depot, bought one and installed it. I now have a functioning ice maker again. He was very courteous and professional (sorry I don't remember his name). I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to sell me on some expensive job for what turned out to be a $30 fix. I would definitely recommend this company.

I called the provider based on angie's list reviews. i called at 1:30 on a friday afternoon and described the problem. the person i spoke to said they could have someone at my home saturday morning. i asked if there was any way that it could be taken care of that afternoon. i was placed on hold for a brief time and then told the repairman would arrive before 3pm. he was here at about 2:25 and the job was completed before 3. No price was discussed on the phone. I felt the service and responsiveness and price and friendliness of the repairman were top notch.

Last week my refrigerator/freezer stopped getting cold. I called Brankman's this morning at 9:30 AM and they said the could be there between 10:30 and noon. The repairman arrived at 11:00 AM and looked at the unit. He told me he had a part that should fix it, and if it didn't, the compressor was bad and I would need a new refrigerator. The part worked and he was done by 11:45. Very professional and plesant. Bill was only $270, which I feel is a bargain compared to buying a new $1500 refrigerator. Call this company!

He educated me on what product to buy and not to waste money on other stuff.

He said that he would arrive between 2 and 4. At 2:15, he came to the door, ready to work. He diagnosed and fixed an electrical problem with the top of my double oven, then told me that the bottom oven just needed a new coil. He could order the part and replace it, he said, but it would cost much more than if we did it ourselves. All we have to do is plug it in. I appreciated his honesty and integrity.

It was awesome. I called in the morning and everything was repaired and cleaned up by 3:30 pm. Apparently the brand new refrig that came with the condo I bought had actually been repaired before and the repair was some improperly resulting in the freezer malfunctioning. Mr branker actually had to disassemble the whole freezer to recalibrate the sliding bars that open and close the drawer. Because of the previous poor attempt at repairing it resulted in the drawer not closing fully allowing warm air to enter the freezer resulting in a terrible build up of frost and ice. He removed all the build-up and even repaired the freezer light, which I didn't even know I had one. My ice is maker is back in business! He is even ordering a part for the refrigerator to replace to avoid a problem in the future. A true. Technician, on time, didn't make a mess worked til the job was done correctly. The only surprise was the price....sooo reasonable!!! Definitely would give him my highest recommendation!!

Mr. Branker is pretty much a straight shooter. He's been doing this quite a while and knows what hes talking about. Nice guy. It didn't make sense for me to make the repair but I appreciate the fact he diagnosed the problem. If I should have any further appliance problems I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

Don arrived well within timeframe given for both the estimate and repair work. Professional, knowledgeable, personable. Limited availability of the part, but found it and repaired the oven within 10 days of initial contact. While I wish the price was less, the oven needed a "new computer", and I was happy not to have to buy a new stove/oven! Very happy I found him and will not hesitate to use his service again.

He was professional, pleasant and helpful. I liked the responsiveness, punctuality, personality and expertise.

He was very prompt. Showed up Friday after calling him on Thursday afternoon. He identified where the leak was and ordered the part. Said it would be a week. The part arrived early and he asked if he could come early. He had the part replaced in 30 minutes.

Everything went fine with him; he told me that I need to get a new refrigerator. He was close by so probably it was his proximity that made me go with him. Further he was rated well. He was prompt he was right on time and he was good. I just could not afford to repair it. Actually it does not pay to fix a refrigerator when it is half the price of the refrigerator.

He was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed micro-switch with the root cause being a poor quality connection that heated the switch. He was able to create a replacement part by adjusting a modern micro-switch and fixed the connection to prevent other failures. I do not impress easily and was very impressed by Don Branker.

It went great. They were about $170 dollars cheaper than another provider I spoke to.

Diagnosed problem and had the part to fix it right then.

Don arrived on time.He was very pleasant. He got right to work . Within 5 - 10 minutes he diagnosed the problem then fixed it in about 20 to 30 minutes. he was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I would definitely call them again if I had a problem with any of my appliances!! I HIGHLY recommend Brankers. The cost was also reasonable. Than you Brankers for making my day!

I was very pleased with Mr. Branker's service. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgable about the work that needed to be done. He also compared the cost of repair to replacement, which made me lean towards purchasing a new microwave rather than repairing the one I had (note that there is a service change leveled for checking out each appliance). Of particular note is that Mr. Branker followed up on a question I had, two weeks after the repair was done, even though I said I would get back to him. The quality of the service was worth the price, which in my estimation was average based on other applicance repair companies that I spoke too. One thing: be sure to have the discount coupons on the Angie's list website available in order to capture the $30 discount. Bottom Line: Excellent service at a fair price. Will certainly use him should another appliance problem occur.

My Kitchenaid dishwasher died over the weekend. I called Brankers this morning to set up an appointment. However, instead of setting an appointment, Mr. Branker suggested it might be a simple problem and told me how to fix it myself: Power cycle the washer. I did it and it worked. To me, this demonstrated an integrity that deserves to be recognized.

My Kenmore washer was making a noise and leaking water. He told me the bearing and seal was bad, and I should buy a new washer.

Came when needed. Performed repair quickly and neatly.

Mr Branker returned the call promptly but after we discussed the model of my dishwasher and the problem occuring, he asked me a few questions and then advised me that this would be an expensive repair due to where the motor was located, the age of the dishwasher, the repair code is was giving me. He said that due to the location of the parts, the labor cost would be considerable and it was not worth repairing. I very much appreciated his honesty. He received no compensation for his advice and I went out and bought another unit. I would definitely call them again for any other needed appliance repairs.

Both the wash & dryer are working. He was very professional and I would definitely use him again.

It went very well, Mr Brankers was early for our appointments, he was very polite. The stove needed repair, parts had to be ordered, Mr. Brankers said they should be in by the end of next week. The parts were in by Tuesday, that's the day the stove was fixed, I was cooking by lunch time. Highly recommend his company. I did ask him to look at another appliance, he suggested I buy a new one. Great worker, honest & loves animals, you can't beat that.
