Description of Work: We contacted Petcosky to give us an estimate on replacement of central A/C. They provided a written estimate, information on many options, and a very helpful and professional salesperson to work with us. After beginning the project it was found that our furnace was also in need of replacement (both units were definitely at the end of their expected life span, even beyond so), so we amended our project to include a new furnace. The same helpful salesman came back and explained all our options to us with patience and good humor. We are very pleased with the performance of these new units and with Petcosky and their follow-up contact. Will definitely use them in the future for all our heating, cooling, and plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Our boiler (installed less than 5 years ago by another outfit) arbitrarily shut down during a cold snap when nobody was around in January. The whole house froze, SOLID. Mike Petcoski came out and evaluated the damage and provided a cost of labor estimate for our insurance claim. Within seconds of walking in, Mike pointed out a likely cause for the boiler malfunction and over the course of the next 45 minutes assessed damage and offered suggestions on repairs. We will be hiring Petcoski & Sons to do repairs and install the new heating system (boiler and all radiators).

Description of Work: I would have loved to have used this company for my total central air conditioning replacement job - but I am 28.85 miles away from their office (just about 40 minutes) and they told me I was outside their zone of service - and even if they did agree to do the work - every time they came out - they would have to charge an extra travel charge. I have found two other companies that service a larger area - one has a 50 mile radius - the other 250 - that I am now getting quotes from - with no extra travel charges - and they are both within minutes of this provider.....

Description of Work: He was here less than fifteen minutes in and out the door, repacing a short rubber hose under my kitchen sink that had started to split and leak. They were prompt, it was on his way to and from somewhere else, I am local and the part cost $7. I was charged $99 plus. My comment to him was that i needed to learn how to take off a simple clamp, buy a cheap rubber replacement hose at Lowes, and do it myself. I felt thoroughtly ripped off. I am retired and on a fixed income. When i called the compay afterwards i was told that they charge a minimum of $85 just for walking in the door.

Description of Work: bathroom sink was clogged. He cut a whole in closet in room next to bathroom and ran all new PVC pipe. He made sure there were no clogs and all ran well before cleaning up after himself.

Description of Work: Instalation of new toilet in rental unit.Prompt,courteous and profesional. A reasonable price. I would hire again and recomend to family and friends.
