Thank you for your purchase and review. We provided you with a onetime service for ants and crickets on December 14th 2014. This Big Deal does not provide for follow up services at no cost. You called us weeks after the initial service informing us you saw one live ant and requested a refund of the $99.00 you paid for the service. You were denied a refund but you were offered a FREE follow up although the program does not provide for it. I am disappointed you felt our service was worthy of a D rating. Description of Work: They did very little for the high price I paid. They came said I had termite damage, installed some bait where I had previously had terminex install bait,therefore there was no real installation. They had to come back to drill into a place in the yard. I paid for one year of service and I have not seen or heard from them since. When I had used terminex about ten years ago they did come ever month and check for activity. Since spring has arrived I erroneously thought I would have heard from them. I was reluctant to bad mouth them to Angie's list but they do no deserve your endorsement.

Thank you for your business and review. You purchased the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System. Sentricon is the best and most advanced method of termite control. Sentricon was introduced to the market 20 years ago as the first termite bait product. Knockout was one of the first companies in New York to use this product as an Authorized Operator. Only Authorized Operators can sell and service Sentricon. Sentricon is still the premier termite baiting system. During the past 20 years there have been many changes and improvements in every component of the system. One of the great advancements has been the active ingredient. This has prompted changes in the method and frequency of service. You are correct, 10 years ago, Sentricon required at times monthly monitoring and at other times quarterly monitoring. The current active ingredient requires service only one time per year. The real good news in your review is what you have not commented about. You do not complain about termite swarming or other termite activity. You got what you paid for…. no termites. See our customer service notes. This client may be reviewing the wrong company. "I s/w Mr. to schedule- His wife was on the other line. They asked questions about what products we use. I referred them to the website to print labels. Mr. said he gets mails from Arthur Katz of New Jersey Air Quality. He kept asking if we are the same company, I kept saying no . I told him AMK owns Knockout Pest Control. They didn't understand why they have a contract with air quality and with us. He was very confused and said he's on his way to City and will call in the am to schedule"

Description of Work: I hired them because I was having a roach problem at my home and for tenants. The guy who came to my house was extremely nice but the product they used did not work. We are still having the same roach problem when they assured me it would be solved. And they said it was a one time treatment and should work.
