Description of Work: They put boxes of poison around the basement. I really would like somebody who will look for entrances and block those. Their advertising suggests they do this. The boxes of poison are a temporary fix. When I asked about blocking entrances, I was told it would take too long for them to do, and I was advised to find a handyman to take care of this.

Description of Work: Knockout came to put some gel around my kitchen for carpenter ants. I had already put ant traps before and after, but the invasion subsided slowly for the $99.00 deal on 4/18/15. I also gave them a $500 check for a sentricon sale and accepted the offer even though I had stations from a previous exterminator. He also put a spike into the trunk of an alberta spruce even tho he had ample room to avoid it. it is half dead. I kept asking when do you start inspecting and he offered me gobbbledeguk. The last exterminator I had came monthly to examine. I have not seen or heard from them since. Appreciate your intervention. Thank you.

Thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that the carpenter ant infestation “slowly” went away. The baits are designed to work slowly so the ants do not become bait shy. We have not heard from you since the service in April 2015, so we conclude the ants are gone. Thank you also for purchasing the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System. This work was also done in April 2015. The old system that you had did not have active bait in the in-ground stations. Monthly inspections were necessary. In the old system you needed to wait for termites to enter the stations prior to introducing active bait. Our Sentricon System has active bait in each and every station right from the start. Consequently the stations need to be inspected only once per year. In addition Knockout exceeds the manufacturer’s recommendations and also provides an interior inspection each year at no additional cost to you. These inspections are usually done between October and March, although it can be done anytime of the year. We have a video on our web site that fully explains how the system works and the benefits to you and your home. All our work was performed to the highest industry standards and in fact exceeded industry standards. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me or a team member.
