They are very thorough. They explained everything to me.

When I made the appointment I was told the price of the coupon covered the entire job inside and outside. I was told the technician would arrive between 3-5 pm on the agreed upon day and that I am to pay the tax to the technician. On said day, the man came exactly at 3 pm and he was friendly and professional. I told him I wanted to put an end to ants in the kitchen by the doorway and he sprayed the perimeter of the kitchen and door. I told him I did not want any more indoor treatment and to do the rest outside. He included a termite inspection which I then asked for. Drying time was 1/2 hour.

no difference since before treated. Same amount of stink bugs this year as years past. Professional also stated they really can't do anything for them. Why offer the service??

They didn't find anything exclusive but it was concerning enough that we wanted to install a termite baiting system which is a way you can track them away from the house and kill them. The guy was very easy to deal with and he was a nerd about bugs, which is good! He was prompt and came out in the time window that was specified.

I had never heard of Knockout before searching on Angie's list, and I'm so pleased with them. I booked the one-time deal through here, and they called me very quickly thereafter, scheduling the earliest possible appointment to get rid of my pests. They came, they sprayed, and .... oops! I forgot to ask them to hit one particular area and there were my tiny enemies crawling about. Even though it was a one-time deal, they came back asap to cover it, correcting an honest oversight on my part and guaranteeing themselves future business with me (and this review!). Really positive, and I've had some negative experiences with exterminators before; either unprofessional (Arrow), overpriced (you know who i'm talking about - national company), or both. I've had to call in the pro's to kill off the ants 2x in 15 years, and found that both times the one treatment carried me for years - no issues after the 1x. Knockout told me about their recurring service contracts, and offered to apply the Angie's deal cost to a contract. I said no for that, but will absolutely positively call them again if I need them.

Great company. Very easy to set up a convenient appointment. They showed up exactly when they said they were going to and they did the job. My only (minor) complaint was that they tried to upsell to a different service twice but after we declined, it was ok.

Teased by a low price ....As of right now (10 days later), not very well. A massive onslaught of these ants appeared today, just as the weather got hot. The major problem with this basic service is that there is no guarantee whatsoever .... so, in reality they could have sprayed water around the house and charged us the basic fee (I'm not saying that they did that). Even though there is no guarantee, I would have expected their treatment to work, at least for a short time. A short time is not 10 days, should be at least several weeks or months. The gentleman who performed the treatment suggested that it should last for about 6 months before requiring another treatment. Bottom line - we are not very happy with this service provided. When I called they told me to wait until 14 days had passed - they said that's how long the treatment should be allowed to settle in to work or they said I could purchase an upgraded contract. Why would I pay for an upgraded contract if even this basic service does not work? This review will be upgraded/adjusted if there is any change in the situation.

The person who came did a very thorough job. I am expecting s good result.

The technician was professional and arrived on time. He first came in (took his shoes off) and surveyed the problem.. He then went back to his truck to get his equipment and when he returned, placed a bootie over his shoes. I was very impressed on how considerate the technician was in entering my home. I would definitely use this provider again.

These guys are awesome! Just bought a house and had my first termite swarm, what a nightmare. I called a bunch of companies to get information and quotes. Knockout was by far not only the most reasonably priced, but the most informative as well. They use the Sentricon system which based on my research is the way to go if you want top-quality. The previous owners of the house had 5 or 6 Advantage baits around the house, obviously that was not working. Really nice gentleman came within a day and did a very thorough inspection. He gave me a lot of valuable information about termites and preventing further damage. He installed about 35 of the systems around my house. I also like how this system is extremely green, non-toxic, and nonintrusive. I was expecting to have to get my house fumigated or something. My wife is pregnant too so I was worried about the danger of spot treatments and pesticides. I was so glad to hear that this system is not only better than all that, but we wouldn't have to leave our home or put our health at risk. While the Sentricon is supposed to be extremely effective, because it is a baiting system, it doesn't immediately wipe out the colony, but takes a little time. Luckily there were no maggot-looking termites or anything inside the house though so I was told that since the swarmers aren't the ones that do the real damage, I should be good. Even still, I was told that if i saw anymore, catch a few, and give Knockout a call so they can identify exactly which ones I was dealing it, and confirm that they are actually termites and not other types of bugs that may look like termites. A few days later I saw a few more, so I caught some. I called Knockout, and they were here within a day. They did not charge me for this visit. They confirmed that it was actually termites, and did another thorough inspection just to double check everything since they were already here. There was nothing found within the house, which was comforting. Just out of generosity though, they installed another couple of baits around the house since they were here already. Really nice guys! I was also given a lot of really valuable information about DIY methods for extermination and pest control in order to save money in the future. Very grateful for that. Thanks Knockout!!!

The service provider arrived on time. After introductions I took him to the area of the basement that I suspected had a problem. He informed me that i had had termites but they were no longer active. He proceeded to check other areas of my home for and other active sights. Then he explained the Sentricon Termite Elimination System. Then he installed the system on all four sides of my home. Part of the service is a year maintenance contract. Afterwards he inspected my home for areas of rodent entry and left food baits and sticky baits in various areas of my home. With this service I have a 30 day guarantee. That means that if this problem persists a service provider will come to the house for additional assistance.

The employee showed up right on time for a 7am appointment which was very impressive. He inspected the holes that were beign created in a dirt area of our backyard and determined they were Digger Wasps. He told me about their behaviors and some useful facts. He quoted me $375 for them to treat, but because it was outside of the home there would be no guarantee. It was that reason alone I have decided to treat them on my own for now. However, if I have any insect/pest concerns in the future they will be the first company I call.

The tech was knowledgeable and professional. He listened to what our problem was and addressed the issue with several techniques that he believes will do the trick. We have a puppy so he was extremely careful not to do anything that would harm the pup. He explained everything he did and why he did it. We know have a lot of knowledge about the life of an ant!!! I definitely would use the company again. I am confident that our problem has been addressed properly and completely.

Sprayed a tenants apartment for ants. No complaints and so far no reoccurring problems

I was very pleased with Knock Out. When we purchased our home in May 2014, we saw many cans of ant spray under the sink, in the basement and garage. Having previously lived in an area that was full of ants, I didn't want to experience an ant invasion again. I called Knock Out. I signed up for the annual contract, but really could have done with just one or two visits and saved a lot of money. They arrived when they said they would and the individuals who arrived were very professional and courteous. I have two dogs and asked that they use pet friendly chemicals and was told that they did. The bottom line is that we had no ants. I was happy. Expecting a visit from them in a few days and hope that the service will be the same.

From the initial phone contact through the completion of the service, all members of Knockout Pest Control where courteous, reliable, and punctual. The technician also provided helpful hints to prevent a recurrence of the problem.

They did not show up at the set time. When we called to follow up, they said that they had made a calendar mistake and came promptly, so that was all right. The real problem is that the treatment was not effective. It made the house ant-free for a few days, but then we began seeing ants again - and by two weeks later the problem was just as bad as before we called. I don't know whether it's the chemical they use, or the method of application (it only took about 20 minutes to do the whole house??), but for whatever reason, the service doesn't work. (Didn't grade it an F only because it did seem to kill/repel the ants for a few days at least).

Very helpful, signed up for repeat-pest control, spraying, etc... one note, we had squirrels in our house and appears for that they have specialized trappers which we did not pay up for, but they still offered us sound advice on that front too.

The Knockout tech came by to check about a potential insect issue. He was punctual, professional, thorough, friendly, and honest. I ended up not needing any work, and the guy was honest enough to tell me that. A+ provider here.

Technician arrived within the 3 hour window. Listened to our problem. Provided possible reasons for the problem causing sugar ants. Explained the process of spraying including any danger to our dog. Very thorough and detailed. Would use again though hope not to have to : ) since we r dealing in bugs.

It went well. We have cats and kids with asthma and they were very sensitive to that.

*Updated the cost of service since this was obviously a typo. I would like to provide a better explanation of what I hoped the outcome to be to assist with this review based on the company's response. It would have been helpful if we would have had the option to reschedule the services for another day where the exact services (square footage and stronger formulas) that were paid for could be used. I am aware that we received a deal because it was advertised on Angie's list, but still feel that the services being paid for could have been what we received. The gel used in the two areas of the house were an alternative, but not exactly what was advertised. I would have preferred to have gotten the full service and have been able to make arrangements for the entire house to be addressed. I hope my update helps explain a little better to assist future customers that may also find themselves in the same situation. I would also like to acknowledge that the services your company provided did solve our issue!
