The service man laid toxic chemical along kitchen counter when it clearly states on the info sheets that they provide not to put it anywhere that food is prepared. also when we called about the special deal and asked for wasps service, the provider said that they had stopped that part of the special promotional deal. We persisted and told them we saw on Angie's List and he eventually said okay but made it sound like he was giving this amazing deal to us.

It didn't completely get rid of the ants. When I called back, they said that the work wasn't guaranteed so I wasn't really very happy about that. There was no additional charge. The guy that came to the house was very nice. He was very good. I was just disappointed that the work wasn't successful and they weren't willing to send him back again without an additional fee. Since they didn't do what I hoped that they would do, I don't think it was worth the price. If it was the price and it worked, I would say it was very worth it, but since it wasn't successful, then I don't think it was worth it. They were responsive.

The first call with their employee is so bad and I do not even want to use any of their other services.

he came sprayed the entire perimiter of the outside of the house and the entire inside of the house. it's a spray for ants and crawlings bugs, etc. seems to be fine and no complaints. i would use them again. without angie's list, the price would have been more than double for the same service. I was told no warranty at this price but it's the same work so who cares.

The tech, CJ, seemed to know his business and do a good job. He treated the house, and the only ants I have found in the house since then were dead ones.

I called the company in order to get an evaluation whether the house has any risk against termites or other pesticides. The house did not have any problem at the date of service and I wanted to avoid any potential future problem. The representative came in on time, he thoroughly checked the house and he was quite knowledgeable and professional. They recommended an annual termite protection plan and there was absolutely no push to sell. The representative walked me through the protection plan and I decided to join. I cannot tell much about the price but it seems it was in line with the market in general.

Provider called before arriving to notify me of approximate time of arrival. When he arrived he put on paper boots over his shoes to protect the flooring of our home. He did a walk through of the area of concern and was able to assess the problem. He adivsed me of the steps that would be needed to remedy the carpenter ant situation and then proceeded to complete the job. He drilled small holes and in the area that was effected, sprayed the area and then used a sealer to close the small drill spots that were made. He also sprayed the entire perimeter of the outside of the house and other areas that I identified as areas of possible concern. He was efficient and extremely well mannered. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone who is in need of pest control.

I have not really seen any bugs outside or in the house since the service.

This is a long story that results in my paying $416 for service that Mr. Arthur Katz says without the Angie's List Coupon would be $250. I purchased the Angie's List $199 coupon for service by Knockout Pest Control July 2013 when I intended to use the coupon to pay for removal of carpenter bees in a deck railing at my home. At that time the technician said the bees would return until I blocked all raw wood with paint. I had already blocked the sites the bees targeted. He did not treat the area. He called the office and I was not charged a fee for inspection. I called again in 2014 when I asked if treatment of the area under my deck could be undertaken for a different insect problem. The technician assessed the problem. She told me they could not treat under the deck as it was too close to the ground. Again, the technician contacted her office and no charge was imposed for this inspection. In July 2015 I noticed bees/wasps entering the penetration point for electrical mast and called Knockout Pest Control. The technician treated for bees. I paid for this service $199 + tax = $216.16 by charging it. So, now Knockout Pest Control has $216. + $199 = $415 from me for service. When later I recalled having purchased the Angie's list coupon, I called Knockout regarding a refund. They said the money was "returned" to Angie's list and I should call them. When I called Angie's List they acknowledged my purchase of the coupon but that the money was not returned to Angie's list. Angie's List called Knockout...... Mr. Katz, after three calls and a few emails, agreed to reimburse me some of what I paid. When I inquired as to when, he stated in an email a check for $100 would be sent to me that day. The email also said they were entitled to payment for the time the technician spent at my home. So, now the cost to me for having purchased an Angie's List coupon was $415.16 - $100 = $315.16...... and the usual charge for bee removal by Knockout without Angie's List is $250. I want $199 reimbursed from Knockout Pest Control.

Sprayed entire house inside and out for ant problem experienced by prior home owner. Also set traps around the house to see if any other insects were around. Very timely scheduling. Work was professional and there was no hard sell for the service plan. a+ work.
