A large tree limb pierced my house's roof and went through the kitchen ceiling. I found LaBello's on Ho.e Advisor, and Chad quickly responded - he was onsite with his crew within 2 hours on a Saturday. They efficiently removed the tree limb and applied a temporary patch to the roof. The next day, Chad's team returned with 3 crews to finish the tree limb removal, install a permanent roofing repair, and patch the ceiling drywall. I was impressed with the speed of service and the quality of the roof repair. And the price Chad provided was acceptable to my homeowners insurance company. I recommend

They were extremely quick to respond during an emergency situation. They completed the job in hours at very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Chad and his team.

Chad and his crew did replace my cellar wall. However, their finish work leaves something to be desired. The driveway path moved as they had their equipment on it. I was told it would move back in place by itself. It did not. The landscaping to be done near the driveway was not done correctly. Various other small details were not taken care of. I got tired of trying to reach them to get these items taken care of. My wife was very upset but all of this, so I gave up on trying to reach them. Would I recommend them, well even though the wall came out okay, the rest was not up to my satisfaction. So no, I would not!

Very poor workmanship. I hired LaBellos to install a French drain. After the first rain, it leaked. After multiple texts/calls, he never came back to even look at it. He tried to up sell me on more expensive work without even backing the original job he did.

I wish I had never hired them.No one ever complained on their social media pages. I see one other bad review but it is new. The steps and the upper landing were jackhammered, and rebuilt. Except the rise was too high, and the lower landing had to be built at an added expense. The landing is too wide, and makes access to my garage a bit more difficult. The workmanship is awful. Very sloppy work. They decided to spray paint the black railings but did not bother to mask off the vinyl siding or painted areas. The concrete stain is horrible. As you can see in the pictures, it looks like the stain dripped down the front of the steps. There is a low spot on the second step where the water collects and is icy all winter. I asked Chad LaBello to come fix it, and he assured me in a text he would, but never came. I had to have my driveway sealed to hide the mess they made of my driveway. I cringe every time I pull in my driveway and see this mess. My $3,000 mess. The company has been contacted and they ignored the problem for almost a year.

Chad and his team were great to work with! My insurance company gave me an ultimatum, in January, to fix my uneven sidewalk. Within a couple days of meeting with Chad, his crew was here, first thing in the morning, and worked in the cold, all day, coming back at night to check. They did a great job and I could not be happier with their work! A very friendly group of guys, as well! Highly recommended!

I hired Chad to rebuild a stone wall in my basement (old farm house) and to put in drainage for water run off. So after I called and told him I had a check to start the work his company didn't show up. then a few months later out of the blue he called. (he's was very pleasant on the phone ). so I said he could start the work. His crew did not show up when he said but a few days later and they went to work. Day two I even drove over twenty mile from Rensselaer to Lansinburg in North Troy and back to give him a bank check. they dug out the foundation and he said they would remove the stones clean them and rebuild the wall. They did not remove any stone they just washed them out then poured cement in around the stones and put a nice surface on the wall. They also had to remove sheet rock and insulation from my family room. In two days they finished but not with out a few issues( I thought). Labello's masonry's crew took a orange city construction barrel that was in front of our house where the city was repairing the storm sewer. After several calls it was returned, They broke a 8 inch diameter limb off the maple tree in front of the property and my aunt said she say them do it on purpose with the back hoe. ( she is a church going senior and would never lie.) They left the debris they were suppose to remove and so I piled it in to and next to my construction size wheel burrow. I also saw them through a 5 gallon hydraulic fluid container in the hole next to my foundation but it was well buried before I could say something. If you doubt my story come and dig, I'll let you! When I examined the lawn that was suppose to be graded and seeded it was a mess and you could not begin to run a lawn mower over it, so I called and complained several times. Finally Jason (a retired sheriff deputy he says ) came over and took pictures and agreed it was a mess. It took two months to get them back and in all fairness it has been a rainy damp summer so that was part of the delay but there was nice weather when they didn't show up . I asked Chad many many times to just keep in touch. His crew showed up unannounced one day months later when I was at work and redid the lawn to "oh well it's better then it was status". they took the sheet rock debris but left the insulation that was now in the back of my truck as I expected to have to dispose of it. they also took my wheel borrow and Chad finally admitted they had it and said he would return it but blamed my wife for them taking it,which was pure Bullcrap. I still do not have my wheel borrow back 3 months later. So I know that Labellos Masonary is as untrustworthy as you can get and I would not recommend them to anyone. I have photo's but can't post them on this site. The city codes inspector said had they gotten the building permit like he was suppose to they would never be allowed to work in the City again. I am also contacting the better business bureau. and will be filing a stolen property rep

Be sure to have a set schedule for when they start and when they finish. Do not give any money until they finish the job. Give full amount when work is finished.

We hired Labello's in June 2018 to put in a 15 X 30 stamped concrete patio with compass medallion, small sidewalk, and seal the front porch and walk for $7770 on recommendations from this site. The price seemed like a good deal. The crew showed up and worked very hard. Once the concrete was installed, three of the crew stayed to stamp the sidewalk and the 15 X 30 patio. The worker, who was stamping the concrete, it appeared to be his first time. Chad instructed him for approximately 5 min and then Chad left. This left Nick to spray the forms and one inexperienced guy to stamp a very large piece of concrete. Dave was stamping the small sidewalk. Dave assisted abount half way through the patio project. A compass medallion was to be placed in the center of the patio. When I checked on the progress, the medallion was not centered. I inquired about the placement and was informed by "Dave" they had forgot to place the medallion in the center and the current placement was the best he could do. The stamping was horrendous and indicative of an inexperienced worker. Numerous double stamping lines, gouges in the concrete caused by dirty stamps, expansion cut through medallion, uneven stamping, patio slab not level, to name a few. I have texted and called Chad, who sets up appointments to discuss the problem and he fails to show or call. Since June 12th till today September 8, we still do not have a resolution. We paid $5900 and withheld $1800. We will be suing to recover as much as possible to have the patio torn up and replace. I wish I could attach photos of the shoddy amateur "ish" work.

I have been chasing basement leaks for years, as I live at the bottom of a slope and the french drain system I installed apparently gets easily overwhelmed like it did Spring 2018 when we had all the snow and rain in March. Chad assessed the leak at our Bilco door, which was requiring hourly towel changes, and said he could excavate the area the next day to try and resolve the issue. Upon excavation, a river of onrushing water near our foundation footings was unbelievable. Clearly the job scope had to increase. Chad's crew worked their tails off in horrible mud and freezing water to get a proper drainage system installed ( perfed, socked pipe surrounded by stone) and have it extended to a stream about 170' away. Miserable clay to excavate, so it took 2 days. Since then: zero water at Bilco door, AND our sump pump which is in another corner of the basement has run much less: from about 1/hour to about 1/day even though we've continued to have a lot of rain thru early May. Great guys, hard workers. Just need some final grading to repair the lawn and we're good as new.

Chad, the owner was a true professional. After my basement partially flooded, Labello's came to my house within 2 hours to access the damage of the flooding. Knowing I had someone who was reliable and could explain what happened and why, gave me a piece of mind. He completed the job on time and walked me through the entire process. Very Professional!

On Christmas Eve 2017 we saw sewage had overflowed into our basement. That evening I called LaBello's, hoping to at least get a voice mail to leave a message and not expecting a Plumber until December 26th, at earliest. To my surprise, Mrs. LaBello answered. I told her our problem, and she handed the phone to her husband. Mind you, this is Christmas Eve. Christmas Day he and his brother came to our home and temporarily relieved the problem, allowing us to function normally. He and a seven man crew worked on our two fold problem, a break in the sewer line and a collapse of the drainage system around our basement floor, for three full days. Mr. LaBello and crew worked hard, were courteous and appreciative of even the bottled water I offered them. I would not hesitate to call them again.
