Mark was very professional and helpful.

The dimming problem will require a significant reinstallation so it was postponed for further consideration. The ground fault problem revealed a short to ground of an internal ground wire somewhere in the condo. It was partially solved but a complete solution will require a lot of additional work so it was postponed as not being worth the trouble. The outlet is working satisfactorily with the fix.

The electrician was very clear in what needed to be done and left me with a detailed estimate.

He came equipped to go up a tall ladder and to check and install a new bulb.

Mark gave me a call when he was stuck in traffic, and showed up a little while after that. He first fixed the outside door light, then put the garage door light on, which required a little fine-tuning the fitting on the stone face of the house. He fixed a few tripped sockets, as well. He knew what he was doing and I was very happy to get all of this work done...I would definitely use him again!

At first they were super responsive, obviously a slow time. I had bought a coupon and they were ready to install -- but then I informed them that I was waiting for the lights to come in. When they did come in a few weeks later, suddenly they must have gotten busy again and I was blown off. At first they said they could come in a month...then it was gonna be 2 months...then finally they told me to ask for my $ back for the coupon. Bizarre exchange.

Repair was successfully completed. Special kudos to Mark who did the job on a Saturday and then returned on Sunday to fix a problem related to the repair that had gone unnoticed on Saturday. No charge on Sunday. Very professional and by the book, no shortcuts.

Ok. The person who came was very professional and courteous. The reason I did not rate hire is that I purchased a two hour package deal. The technician did it alert me that he was working past the two hours, and I was in and out-- not paying attention to the time. He also seemed to take a long time (20 minutes?) cleaning up and putting things away in his truck. Then knocked on the door and presented me with a bill for one extra hour-- which was another $150! And only two of the three problems were solved (one, he told me, required me purchasing any entirely new light.). I felt like it took too long to perform th services and I wasn't alerted when they went past the prepaid time.

A good solution for a challenging installation.

Marco gave me great suggestions and completed the work as promised. He was thorough and professional.

The electrician showed up an hour late, and stated that he would be staying for four hours. He stated that he brought "a helper" with him. The helper, had zero electrician experience. And I mean zero. We witnessed him get non-electrical related items from the truck a half dozen times, and that was it. Other than that, he literally sat or stood and watched. He did not speak English. He could not drive to Home Depot to get parts that were needed, so I assume he could not drive. He literally just sat there. I did ask the electrician, if he could start working on a simpler electrical task, while the electrician was trying to repair something more complicated (which btw he was unable to fix), and he stated that he was not an electrician, and did not know how to do electrical work. He at that point offered to have him work doing other things such as yardwork or painting. It was ridiculous to even bring him. Clearly an unskilled low wage worker. When we questioned how he was to deliver on the promise of "eight hours of electrical work", he stated that there was no way he would ever stay for eight hours for $500. He further stated that he typically charges 125 an hour, and that Angie's list made a clerical error. He blamed the bait and switch on Angie's list. He offered to stay for five hours, but honestly he got very little accomplished. He said negative things about our home and gave us the distinct impression that a particular job absolutely could not be done (fixing a light in the front foyer) without spending thousands of dollars. Since then, we have used a different electrician, who gave us an options of how to fix it with an estimated cost of 450. There is a light in our backyard that did not work, that he spent some time on, and after he was done, stated that it would work but that we didn't have the right lightbulb. My husband ordered the lightbulb on Amazon and it arrived two days later. The light still does not work. For 500 bucks, he accomplished very little. We have decided to go with another electrician, and would never use him in the future.

mark was able to solve two of the four problems, and gave us advice as to how to go about rectifying the other two, which involved fixture failure.

Electrician showed up over half hour late and took hour to diagnose simple problem - billed for 2 hours even though 1 1/2 hours ($150/hr) + $33 for GFI .

Great! Mark communicated well, arrived on time and was a delight to deal with. We will definitely be calling him again for additional work.

Electrician kept me informed when he would show. Was professional and did a great job.

The result was great. It was exactly what we wanted.

The guys were very nice, but I felt they took a lot longer to complete the job than the job required. And on top of that, they charged me for 2 men when it was really a one man job.
