Sean Cunningham and Precision Plus Painting went above and beyond their obligation. Fine print (which I am guilty of not having read) excluded Manhattan. They were kind enough to come into the city where parking and ll submissions for management had to be an additional inconvenience to them. Thank you so much for your good will as well as quaily work.

The project manager, Dave, messed up the scheduling on this job. To confirm the appointment that had been on my calender for weeks, he send an email at 7:43 the night before. No, I did not see it since I do not have a Smartphone and do not constantly check my email. As a result, no one arrived on the day it was scheduled. Rescheduled for the next day but the truck broke down and, again, no one arrived. A new project manager, Angel, called and said he would make certain that all was taken care of on Monday. Yes, he did make certain all was well! Angel drove the painter to my house and picked the painter up. Angel made certain the the job was completed to my satisfaction. In the end, the Angie's deal was worth it.

Irene was the customer liaison and our primary point of contact. She is a consummate professional who was super responsive and stuck with us every step of the way. I felt well informed though out the process about the costs involved in each activity, and exactly what I was paying for. The workers showed up on time each day and worked diligently, and were always professional. The ceiling work was by far the best, they had a masterful plaster contractor who was just exemplary. The floor work was acceptable given the problem of having to use a smaller machine due to electrical limitations within the building. The painting of the walls and the ceilings were precisely and carefully done, however the brick face and trim was a bit slapdash which I attribute to the job taking longer than initially expected. Ken our head contractor was always very responsive however, and did come by on the last day to see to some fixes himself. Overall I would give PPP an 'A' grade, and will be using them again in the future.

I was having great difficulty getting in contact with this company to get the job done. Since posting about my unhappiness, they have been most attentive and we are working together to resolve the problem. Other than the slow communications, I have not been unhappy with them, and look forward to having them do the job.

It started off nicely. A woman came out and gave me the estimate. She was warm and professional. On the day the work was supposed to be done. The head painter came out with a guy, who didn't speak much english, and explained to him what needed to be done. He told him in spots where the walls were bumpy that he should sand before painting. I had radiator covers that were white and my bedroom was going to be painted pink. I asked the guy if he wanted me to tape the radiator covers. He told me not to worry about it. The head guy left and that's when things fell apart. The painter was in my bathroom washing out his paint brushes in my new bathroom sink. He didn't even ask. Then I saw him walking out of my bedroom with a broom. I wondered what he was doing with it. Not once did the guy pick up a piece of sandpaper. I told them in the morning that I was going to change the bedroom door so that i didn't have to be painted. The guy left the door frame, which was the same color as the baseboard, dirty, not painting it. The minute that the boss man was gone. He just picked up the paint and started slopping it on. He got paint all over my radiator covers. I was mortified. There was a spot on the wall where there was a piece of tape, he just painted over it. I had moved everything in the room to the center, except for my elliptical. I had a lamp that I moved also out of the way. When the guy finished, I went in the room and saw areas where the paint was running down the wall. I asked the guy to smooth it out, he told me don't worry about it. The work was sloppy. As the woman requested, I gave them head guy a deposit when they started the work. When the man was finished, he was there alone and I pointed out several sloppy things that he had done and he told me that he had to go and left. I then went in my bedroom and looked around and was totally disgusted. I emailed precision painting and told them how sloppy the work was. Then, I was barefoot and went over to the bed, fortunately for me, I looked down. The guy had broken my bedroom lamp and swept the glass under the bed. I stated crying and then heard a knock at the door. it was the boss who was there earlier and another man who said they were the owners. I was mad because i told them that the work was sloppy and that the man put me in danger by not telling me that he had broken the glass. They told me that they would come back and straighten out his work and they looked around in amazement and agreed that the work was shoddy. I told them to paint the door frame and then forget it. I will never use them again. Buyer beware! I gave them their money, but when they left i thought that what they should have done was to offer me a discount, but they didn't. They got over on me, but never again!

They painted well and left things neat.

They painted our living room and our hallway. We were pleased with the job and we had no complains.

They showed up forty minutes late for the initial estimate. After painting the kitchen, which went well, they left the leftover paint. However, a few days later, they came back to paint the bedroom. They clearly knocked over a can of paint on our dresser. Bubbles appeared in the ceiling because they didn't put a coat of primer on recent plaster work. They told us it was the fault of the plaster guy, but an unbiased professional informed us that the painters should have known to prime it first. They informed us that they would drop off the leftover paint so we could touch it up after having the bubbles repaired (they did not leave the leftover paint that time.). The worker informed me he would drop it off either the next day or the day after. He did not. One more phone call prompted him to say that he would leave it the following morning at 8am. Nothing. I called at 1 PM and he told me he had a client that morning. After I said that he had told me he would come three times, he said that actually he had gotten into a car accident and was being picked up at that moment while speaking to me on the office phone number. I spoke to a manager and they sent someone else over finally. However, the paint they brought was in a dented and rusted can. It was halfway dried up. He assured us that we just needed to stir it well. We stirred it for fifteen minutes and could not get out the clumps. The supervisor of the job apologized, however, she informed us it was not customary to leave the leftover paint. Why did they leave it after painting the kitchen then.......? We had to buy our own, repair the ceiling plaster and touch it up.

It has been a great experience to work with this painting company. From initial contact to completion of work, I have been very satisfied with their professionalism and enthusiasm. Despite a huge gap between their pricing and my budget, they were willing to walk the extra mile to meet my needs by offering alternatives. What amazed me was that their quality of work far exceeded my expectation. I especially would like to thank the salesperson Irene and the foreman and his team who performed the painting work. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for value and service.

I dont think that the project manager was very accommodating. He was initially but then he stopped returning my calls and didn't move forward trying to reschedule.

Excellent! Painters were very professional. Prep work was done neatly. They worked extremely hard and finished in four days. We have had many positive comments on how well the job was done. Thorough estimate was given with options for additional work.

Very nicely done. Professional, friendly, arrived on time, worked to task, and were neat. Cleaned up when work was completed. Definitely would hire again.

IT HASN'T GONE SO FAR THEY NEVER CAME ON THE AGREED UPONDATE

Hard working, fast, great quality. I was expecting some additional charges somehow someway. Never happened. Looking at possibly using them for future business.

It went extremely well. They were so good that I had them come back and do a second job in two other rooms. Great job. Fast, clean, responsive and did a great job.

Was totally painless. Dave showed up at our door within 5 minutes of our scheduled time. Our detailed estimate came the next day. Even though his price was the 2nd lowest my wife and I felt comfortable with him. His crew was a reflection of him. They showed up on time, helped move the furniture...they treated our belongings with great care. everything was moved, covered and treated like we wanted them to be. After they were done (2 days) they cleaned up after themselves and the only way you knew they were there was that the rooms looked much better. BTW 2 days later they came back to touch up any moldings that were nicked or marred moving furniture. We would definitely use them again.

We were unsure who to hire due to being burglarized 7 years ago. We finally hired Dave, at Precision Painting Plus and his team. They were extremely polite and courteous. They assisted us in picking the perfect colors for home. We are thinking of selling our home so the colors would also be perfect for the new owners. I am so extremely impressed by the entire job. They were timely, quick and cleaned up after themselves. We ended up paying less than what they quoted. They even picked up the paint for us! They were so accommodating and I would recommend them to anyone!

There were some extra things that were done that I hadn't asked for but I was ok with having those done. I was very pleased overall.

Jason and his crew are AMAZING!! Professional, reasonably priced, fair, and punctual. Angie's List completely aided in rescuing my family from what could have been a very bad situation. Instead a bad situation it turned into a less than ideal situation and for that we are completely grateful. After the news of a relative passing in the winter of 2013 my family and I had inherited a home that had been in our family since the 1950's. The home was in rough shape but salvageable and structurally in good condition; however the closest family member was at least 2.5 hours away. This is not just a review about workmanship but trust. I'd like to thank Jason Benbasset personally, and Precision Painting Plus for their services. Jason was even able to recommend someone to strip and refinish the hardwood floors and they turned out fantastic! I am forever indebted to all the work Jason and the crew of Precision Painting Plus provided. I am happy to report that the home went on the market in the summer of 2013 and we just closed on the home December of 2013. I know none of this wouldn't have been possible without all the hardwork by Jason and PPP as well as the other professionals we retained the Angie's List community. Andrea V.

First call Precision Painting on a Friday. Receptionist very courteous scheduled for Brando Lara to come by on Monday Jan 7, 2013. Brando call me that Monday morning that he was on his way. He introduce himself as the foremen. Brando is very polite and professional. He look at bedroom and detail to me how work would be perform and I sign contract and left a deposit by check. That afternoon I receive the e-mail, I provided Brando with the colors to use in painting room. Wed, Brando came by with worker introduce him to me. Worker stood, remove popcorn ceiling and skim ceiling. Being impress on how work was going on in bedroom, I ask brando about hallway which led to job 2, Brando show my wife and I some samples that would match walls leading to hallway. sign 2nd contract, receive e-mail and verify paint. On Thurs worker came back again for sanding. 2nd worker came to paint hallway. Both workers were friendly and professional. They sanded, caulked were it was needed. Both jobs came out excellent. Precision provided ladders, floor covering, taping, caulk paint (flat, semi gloss). 1 wall was over 16 ft high from stairs, leading to 3rd floor hallway. they finish Friday. I made final payment by check, they did vacuuming and clean up. Job took 3 days . They are very detail in their painting, and caulking open gaps around door trim. Good Job
