Description of Work: I requested an estimate for a tree removal and the trimming of two trees. I have no idea when they came to do the estimates as no one knocked on my door to inform me they were here. I was given the estimate on an old used opened envelope. How professional!! I think at least it could have been written up, if not on an invoice type of form, at least a piece of paper and not and old ratty envelope left in my mailbox. I couldn't even read the writing so have no clue what the actual cost may have been to do the job. When I called for scheduling the estimate I distinctly remember saying that one was to be removed and two trimmed. The estimate (the part I could read) stated a cost for the removal of all three trees. Could be the estimator misunderstood what the job actually entailed. Needless to say I didn't call them back and cannot comment on quality of their work.

Description of Work: This is the 2nd time I've used Treelanders. Their work is excellent, and the cleanup was well done. It was a big task - about 13 25-30 ft. evergreens had to come down - and it was accomplished in one day, with a follow-up to grind up the stumps. The only thing I would have a quibble with is getting them to let me know when they would arrive - they literally just showed up one day. I thought the price was fair and reasonable for the size and complexity of the job, and the crew worked their butts off. A couple of years ago I hired them to raise the canopy of a couple of large trees, and was also well done at a fair price.

Description of Work: Last fall, I arranged to have a number of very old trees taken down and others trimmed for my church, to the tune of thousands of $$. As you can imagine, whoever you might hire for this type of service should definitely own and supply you with proof of liability insurance, in the event a wayward limb lands on your or a neighbor's house, car, etc., or someone gets injured. Before I obtained my estimates, I typed up a "scope of work" to be done, so that I could provide a copy to each vendor and be able to compare "apples to apples" once all the estimates were received. I used Angie's List, which includes customer comments and ratings for each vendor, as the basis for the selection process. The contractor we went with: Treelanders Tree Service. They brought in a large crew and all the necessary tools / equipment. They were in and out in less than a day. They did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves.

Description of Work: Very responsive to phone calls. Able to set up convenient delivery date. Careful to place wood where I ask. Courteous delivery person. Very good quality wood, the best we've found.

Description of Work: I highly recommend Treelanders for removal of difficult trees. Treelanders were the first to give me an estimate on the day of my initial call. Also they were by far the MOST reasonably priced. Service was fast and job completed efficiently. Tree removal, stumps ground and yard neatly raked. Excellent customer service.
