From my first contact with the company through the entire repair process, I was impressed with their responsiveness, commitment to quality work and professionalism. I called on Monday and got an appointment for the following day, along with an estimate. The repairman came promptly on time, and completed the work on time. He even suggested an additional modification to my original work request, which was completed at no extra cost!

Around 10am, a tall delivery truck drove through our neighborhood and ripped out our power line from our house. National Grid came and turned off the power, but does not work on anything connected to the house. So we started calling electricians, but everyone said that they couldn't do it at 11am on a Friday. Patruno Electric was suggested and on Angies List. They said they could do it and sent an electrician out and he was at our house by 1pm and was done running a new line by 3pm. National Grid inspected, but said that we would have to wait for a crew to hook us up. We got on the phone and started calling National Grid, because we knew that shift change was at 5pm. We were told that they have up to 5 days to rehook us up and that we needed to talk to the planner for our area...surprise, surprise that person did not answer the phone at 4pm on a Friday. We kept calling and finally got someone to put us on the list for the night crew, but told us that they could come at anything from 6 to midnight and that we had to be there. They finally came and we got the power turned on at 9pm. If it wasn't for the employees at Patruno Electric, we probably would have to wait until the following Monday to get the power turned on. Thank you!

They were polite. They went out of their way to show us everything they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves. They were just wonderful.

Upon calling, I was given an appointment for the next day. The company worked around my teaching schedule. The electrician was prompt, professional and courteous. It was a very positive experience, and I would definitely use Patruno again.

High winds brought a large tree limb down on the electrical wiring from the street to the house which popped the brackets holding the wiring from the box to the weather head. The electric service provider reconnected the wires, but said that I needed an electrician to check the exterior wiring. I contacted Patruno after reviewing the comments on Angie's list. The electrician I spoke to was very helpful. He contacted the electric service provider to see if they had any notes on the electrical reconnection to my house. He had an electrician who was in the area stop by my house to take a look at the damage to give an estimate on the work that needed to be done without charging me. They called back to give me an estimate and sent an electrician to do the work the next morning. Once the electrician got up on the ladder he said that the weather head and wiring needed to be replaced. That week, Patruno mailed me the estimate for the work that needed to be done and called to schedule the work. The electricians arrived as scheduled. I had to leave the house during their work and they followed my instructions for securing the house once they finished the work.

We recently bought a new house and the previous owners had left a number of electrical problems that needed to be fixed. We got Patruno's name from Angie's List and called. They responded quickly, started work the next week (we called them on a Friday), and finished the job over three days. It included installing lights in a number of rooms, re-wiring some rooms, fixing bad wiring, running electricity to the garage (which isn't connected to the house) and installing a light/ceiling fan in the kitchen.

This business was a complete pleasure to deal with. They were friendly, courteous and helpful, and ON TIME. The entire job took 1/2 hour! I can't say enough how great they were. I haven't gotten the bill yet, but was quoted a VERY reasonable price. Kudos to Patruno! And 3 thumbs up!!

We couldn't be happier or more impressed with the service provided and all the employees with which we had contact. Chuck came to view the work and send an estimate. He was prompt, polite and helpful in answering our questions. The proposal arrived quickly. I called with a question and spoke with Dave, the owner, and he also was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The technician who came to do the work was quick and efficient, did a wonderful job, cleaned up after himself, and was also very pleasant. It was overall an excellent experience and we would recommend them to our friends and also use them again.

They did excellent work in every detail, they were a bit costly, but you get what you pay for, for quality work.

We called the company and they sent someone later that week. He (I can only call him "he" since he didn't introduce himself) arrived 10 minutes early. That is not necessarily a good thing when the doorbell doesn't work! Pros: He fixed the doorbell and replaced the light socket quickly, diagnosed the iron/outlet problem as being a problem with the outlet and replaced that. He was in and out in about an hour. Cons: He absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke, and we later noticed that he had throw a couple cigarette butts in our driveway. When he told us he needed to replace the outlet, in a room painted white, he said he only had beige ones, with no offer to get a white one if we wanted. The next time I went to iron, the iron still didn't work. It turns out it needed a new plug. When we got the bill in the mail a week or so later, we noticed that the due date was the day the work was done and there's a finance charge if the bill is more than 14 days overdue.

He was very professional, and helpful. He even did a small job in the basement; capping and tucking away old, frayed, exposed wires without adding it to the work order, simply because he thought it was something that should be done. They charge $75 for the first hour and $55 for additional hours. Only one hour was needed for this service call. The nice thing is that they are licensed and insured; so it was worth paying a little more.

Wonderful! They gave us an estimate within a day and did the work that week. Work was more difficult than they though with our old house and worker was still professional. Had no problems dealing with our friendly cats. Did a very professional job.
