Jeff did a great job

He is very reliable, he comes when he's called - you don't have to worry a bit about that. If he can't get there right away he'll tell you. His work is outstanding and he discourages you from doing unnecessary maintenance. He's definitely the guy you want to deal with.

Jeff checked my 2 furnaces and gas fireplace. He found a leak in some tubing going into the furnace and repaired it. He cleaned and inspected the furnaces. I have not been able to use my fireplace for over a year because of an odor that would give me a headache. I had a carbon monoxide detector so I new it wasn't that. He figured out that it was the the fiberglass cross logs that were getting heated and giving off the odor. He removed those and voila the smell was gone! Very happy! Great price and great service. He was very friendly and loved my dogs. I will definitely be giving him a call this summer to check the A/C units.

He came and was friendly and pleasant and professional and answered all my questions (and I had many!) and repeated his answers so I could write them down and gave advice and showed me in detail how to change the filter and told me all about filters. He was great and clearly knowledgeable.

He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He also recommended doing Furness cleaning, that he performed another time. We have not had problem with the furnace since then. Work was done well. Problem has not appeared since then. We are very satisfy with his work.

They came out when they said they were going to come. They were professional and did an excellent job. I thought their price was good for what they had to do and the time they took to do it.

We called Jeff to inspect the furnace based on the evaluations in Angie's List, in particular because he is highly rated for his honesty. We wanted to know if we needed to replace the furnace. He scheduled to come out within about 2 weeks of our call as we had no urgent problems. He arrived on schedule, was friendly and professional; did his work quickly and well. He felt the furnace was in good shape for its age and that we did not need to replace it at this time. We also had a thermostat which needed to be replaced and he gave us the replacement for free. We were very pleased with his service, and feel we have found someone we can rely on.

He was very good and was able to get the work done quickly. He was very nice and honest. He was very clean with the work and also was reasonable with his prices.

I turned on the heat this Fall and the furnace lit, but it would not blow heat throughout the house. I called Jeff Kreis' number after reviewing the comments on Angie's List to make an appointment. I left a message with a basic description of the problem. He called me back within a couple hours to set up an appointment for someone to take a look at the furnace. The technician who was assigned to my house called within an hour to set a mutually agreeable time for him to check the furnace problem. The technician showed up 45 minutes later than we agreed, but once he was there, he was very efficient and knowledgeable about the problem and how much it would cost to replace the motor. He was able to purchase the motor, return to the house and install the new motor in just over an hour.

Jeff uses John for oil fired installations. John arrived on time. He pointed out that the previous two times I had the valve replaced the tech did not replace the entire unit, allowing the problem to continue. John was careful to clean up after the work was complete.

The first time that Jeff came to my house my heat was not working. I assumed that this was going to cost me alot of $$. He could have come up with just about anything and I would have had to pay because of my clear lack of knowledge about furnaces and it was the middle of winter. He very quickly pointed out that my furnace was in great shape - it was the kind of filter in there that was causing the problem. In and out - honest as the day is long and very reasonable. He also cleaned it out and pointed out how the incorrect filter affected the output. Since the house was new to me, he also showed me how the vents work and drew arrows for further assistance. I have contacted Jeff several times after that not only to ensure that all is well and working properly - which I might add that is ALL he does. Doesn't "find" things to fix for me...$$. Recently wires were "mowed" near my air conditioner which caused a fuse to go in the furnace. It was the weekend (HOT) and Jeff called me back immediately. He diagnosed the problem right over the phone and again was in and out with a quick fix - no more no less. Jeff will be kind enough to point out ways to ensure the longevity of your products - no cost just old fashion help! Because of his incredible workmanship and HONESTY, I would not even think to allow someone else to come in.

The work was excellent. The installer, Jeff Kreis, was courteous, on time, clean, and great to work with!

He did a great job and we would only use him for any heating and air conditioning job we have, he is the best!

My tenants were complaining that the heat in the shower was working randomly. I am an out-of-town investor and could not come to look at it. I found Jeff on the list and called because of reputation. He was able to look at it the next business day. He called me immediately after he finished and told me that it should be fixed, but that it might not be and also confirmed the service charge - $65. He also offered to look at the heater together when I am in town. The tenants continue to complain about the heat and I came to town the next weekend. I took him on his offer and he showed and explained to me patiently and did some more adjustments. He did not charge anything the second time and it seems like the problems is solved.

Jeff is a really nice guy, showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. He knew the issue with this furnace was a common one for the model and was able to get the part in a day and get me up and running again.

Jeff responded to my call within 24 hours and arrived at my home at exactly the appointed time. He was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I was relieved to learn that so many of my concerns about the air quality in my home and my energy expenses were actually quick fixes. On the basis of his advice and work, all issues have been resolved, without the need to invest in mold remediation or foundation work to my house.

We had a vibration from the furnace that was rattling the ducts. It started just after the year warranty expired on a blower motor that was replaced by the original installer of the furnace. That company's field tech said that the motor was bad, that it would cost us $500 to replace it, and they would make no adjustment for it going bad so quickly. I had just heard of Angie's list and found Jeff's listing. He said the cost for replacing the motor would be in the $300 range so we set up an appointment. Jeff showed up a half hour early, which was somewhat inconvenient. He wanted to make sure he had enough time to get a motor but it would have been helpful for him to have called first. He carefully checked the furnace and found that mounting bolts for the motor assembly were so loose they were almost out completely. We paid for the service call and work done and everything is working fine now. The price seemed a bit high for time spent but I may be out of touch with current costs.

He came exactly on time and did the check up at the agreed upon price; no surprises. When I first called Jeff he said the outdoor temperature needed to be above 70 degrees in order to get an accurate reading and scheduled the appointment for mid May; it was 72 degrees when he came. How's that for a good guess!

We called and Jeff came, right on time, a couple days later to diagnose the noise and give us an estimate. He told us that the furnace needed a new motor and a cleaning, but assured us that it would be fine through the end of the current heating season if we'd rather postpone the (expensive) work until fall. He also said that as long as we planned on having him do the work, even if it was later, he'd waive the fee for the service call. We decided to have it fixed now, so he ordered the motor and returned a few days later. He quickly did the repair and the cleaning. Later that day, we noticed that the train sound was gone but had been replaced by a helicopter sound. We called Jeff back, and he returned the following week. He adjusted down the RPMs of the motor and it's wonderfully quiet now; more so than the old furnace motor ever was.

Company owner completed the job himself......very punctual when first giving estimate and also when completing job......promised a half-day installation and he did as promised......professional and personable......high quality of work.....cleaned up all debris after job completion.
