JEFF KREIS HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

We have been Jeff's customer for 20 years, but Jeff Kreis Heating is no longer acceptable. I had a tune-up scheduled and the person did not show up, did not call, and then did not respond when I tried to contact them. I even messaged on the Facebook page but never received an explanation. It inconvenienced both me and our tenant. Unfortunately, Jeff passed away, and the person who took over the business is not following his pattern of excellent service.

Jeff came out on a Sunday morning when our furnace blower wasn't working and the outside temp was in the 20s. He is experienced, thorough, professional and very conscientious. Wouldn't go to anyone else for our furnace and ac needs.

Jeff is professional and thorough. He did not try to sell us any unnecessary upgrades or services, which the other people we called tried to do - the house is very old and the others wanted to replace all the ducts, etc, etc. The estimate was very reasonable. The installers were prompt, courteous and thorough. The outdoor unit was carefully installed to make it as unobtrusive as possible. The installation was completed on schedule and both the heat and A/C work great. I cannot recommend him more highly. The contact phone number is outdated, the phone number is 315-544-2263.

We used him five years in a row. He was friendly, he said our furnace was in great shape. He never tried to sell me something I didn't need. Pleasant, courteous, professional.

I was quoted $600. by another company to replace a bad blower motor. Called Jeff and he quoted me $325. for the same work. He arrived as scheduled, replaced the blower motor and checked out the rest of the furnace at no extra cost. Jeff was very pleasant and professional and I highly recommend him.

Jeff is great. I've used him for the past several years. He remembers my details, does a great job, gives good advice, and is an all-around nice guy. Highly recommend!

I think he is very professional, does very good work and comes in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him. He is really nice and seems honest. He treats his customers well. He does excellent work. He has come out to follow up to make sure the furnace is still running well.

Jeff was wonderful in every way. He responded to my call promptly--although we played a bit of phone tag! He was on time for appointment and very polite. Our furnace was not coming on at all and Jeff came over and diagnosed the problem-the motor was shot. He quoted us an estimate and said he would shop around for a motor. He promptly called us back with a price-$300. all inclusive. It sounded very fair to me and we set up another appointment. He came over and installed the motor. Afterwards, when they (my husband and Jeff) went to turn furnace up to see if everything worked, they discovered the circuit board had a problem. Jeff tapped on it and it would work, then sometimes it wouldn't. Jeff told my husband, that there seems to be a problem with the circuit board, and my husband told him it would be OK---that we could just tinker around with it if it acted up.....Jeff told my husband that that wouldn't be a good idea because it could damage the new motor and recommended replacing the board. My husband was a little nervous about what the new price would be, but Jeff replaced it, and it still cost the original $300. he quoted us. Jeff is very knowledgeable, fair, and honest. I will definetely call him if I have any other issues and I would recommend him highly to anyone. He is a definite A+ in my book!

Mr. Kreis arrived at the appointment time, went right to work, cleaned , inspected the furnace making any adjustments necessary. He also cleaned , inspected and adjusted, turned on the whole house humidifier , he'd installed for us last heating season. All work was done in an excellent , professional manner. He always advises us on the condition of our equipment and up keep we can do ourselves, to keep it running with no problems. Last winter - February , our furnace stopped running all it took was one call and he was right there as a part on the furnace had gone bad, he replaced it right away at a reasonable cost and it was good to go. We are so pleased with is work we've referred our neighbors to Mr. Kreis , who now takes care of their heating and cooling needs. We first found Mr. Kreis on Angie's List and are VERY glad that we did !

Very good with customer. He did call and stated he would be a little late.....

Jeff Kreis arrived on time and worked efficiently. He made hauling the new heater into the basement look easy in spite of a steep narrow stairway. Jeff knows what he is doing and gets the job done quickly making the necessary measurements and connections. He also removed the old heater and hauled it away so I did not need to figure out what to do with it. I can see why others here rate him highly. The New heater has been working flawlessly for several months.

very good response time to my phone call, worked with me to find a convenient date and time. And he takes his shoes off to keep the floors clean!

Air was making worrisome sounds and we were having many hot days. Company was referred to me by a repair tech I highly admire. Company sent a technician finally after a bit of a wait and communication snaffoo (we had been having something of a heat wave, so that was understandable) and tech said we were leaking coolant and would likely have to replace or replace the machine sometime before the summer ended. Being in a financial tight spot we waited to see how long we could go and in fall were unable to get company to send someone out (death in family of owner, again most understanable). Had a tech come from another company who diagnosed the problem totally differently, said the noise was the fan motor dying and replaced it with the capacitor. Not sure whether we do indeed have a leak but wish original tech (who was not the owner) had noted the other problem - would have saved us cost of the extra repair call and very possibly a lot of power and expense running the AC on dying equipment.

He is superior. He is very knowledgeable. I would have no one else fooling with my systems. He is always responsive. I called him when he was on vacation and he answered and returned my call. I will use him until he is no longer in business.

I needed a part replaced on an exhaust fan. However he didn't feel like that was the way to go because the codes had changed over the years. He felt it was against the code so he didn't do anything for me; he just tightened it up a bit. It went well.

I can call him at anytime and he will either come out to provide service himself or find someone else to provide the service. He is very reliable, dependable, honest, friendly, and clean.

He arrived on time, did the work, left.

He's unbelievable. I've recommended him to so many people. He is reasonable.

Mr. Kreis gave us an accurate estimate; he did the work quickly and, obviously, well, as we've had no problems; and he has been extremely pleasant throughout every interaction we've ever had with him. We truly enjoy seeing him when he comes by for regular service visits. When he installed the AC system, he discussed the proper size unit with us in detail to help us select exactly what we needed without spending more than necessary. He also helped us identify a few spots in the duct work that we could fix for ourselves in this old house. His work was quick and excellent. We couldn't ask for better!

We needed a cleaning and inspection of our furnace and found Jeff Kries on Angie’s List. We just bought a new home and wanted someone to show us more about our furnace and clean it before we turned it on for the winter. Jeff did a thorough job with the cleaning and found that the previous owner had really neglected the humidifier. There was actually mold growing in the filter. He cleaned this unit, replaced the filter and cleaned up after himself. He also showed us how to go about cleaning it ourselves at the end of the winter and how to shut it off in an emergency. He also identified a hole in the unit where an old vent used to be and he patched the hole with a metal covering. We were very happy with his work and feel like the piece of mind was totally worth the price. We will have him back in the spring to check out the AC before we turn that on too!

Excellent. Called and left a message, Jeff called back within a couple hours. Said he would be in the area and he would stop by if he could. He called a few hours later and said he would be by in a few minutes. He was professional, friendly, answered all my questions and gave some general tips. I would use him again in a second.
