Thank you for the feedback, we do appreciate you taking the opportunity to share your thoughts with us. Your duct cleaning was much more involved than most homes so the time that it took was much longer which impacted the investment. You had a system in the attic which will take longer to access and perform as well as drop ceiling that needed to be removed and a number of jumpers and each of these added to the cost. We understand that it was not inexpensive, and that is the reason we came out 4 days prior to provide a no cost, no obligation quote that you did approve. Our quality is very high and ducts cleanings are a very involved process and we are hopeful that you will see the benefits of having it done. Eric Knaak VP & General Manager

Description of Work: Replaced a 26 year old furnace and installed central air conditioning. Job was done professionally, all questions answered. chose them over another provider as free financing was offered (I chose to finance on my own) and 24hour service is available. I was happy with the work done, happy with the match of information received compared with product delivered.

Description of Work: The work they did was alright, but expensive. An A/C maintenance appt. was cancelled by telephone answering machine late afternoon on the day before a 9AM appt. the next day. An hour or two later in the evening an automated reminder call was received. Result was major inconvenience, which the answering service recognized, but the Isaac employee was less than helpful--rude really. I'm trying Holbrook. Don't like the way I was treated.

Apparently we had a rush of emergency calls that came in which forced us to have to reschedule some annual maintenance visits. We have a procedure for this which was not followed, which is to inquire if a rescheduling is possible, and if not keep the pre-scheduled appointment for the client. The rescheduling should only be done in cases where it is not a major disruption to the client. I have personally reviewed this procedure with our team and reiterated the importance of respecting the customers timeframes. Our team always means well and tries hard to handle all calls in a timely fashion. Again,I apologize for the situation and I have asked our Branch Manager in Syracuse to contact you directly to see if we can regain your business. I hope to be able to serve you again in the future. Description of Work: only request TIM GUY, he is very responsible and trained through ISAAC. |prepped my furnace for the winter: vacumed, checked switches, nothing really wrong with it..and also cleaned the exterior air conditioner unit which was very dirty - i don't think other services ever cleaned it outside; fixed electric line that got disconnected. |

I had estimates from them and another company that I'd worked with in the past, and I liked Isaacs' professionalism. Their sales person was very technically proficient and did a careful estimate of heat loss from the building. He was very good in explaining the options and the furnace recommendations on the heat loss estimate, whereas the other group did not. One group gave three recommendations with different prices. Isaacs gave two recommendations and the one that I chose was about $700 less than the first estimate, so they give an excellent price. Their installation crew was very good. They were clean and efficient. They stayed with the job and made sure that everything was complete. I had one service call shortly afterward to address one issue, and that was a very quick response. The personnel is just very professional and courteous. I strongly recommend them to others. In my experience, they were very competitive on price. They were extremely reliable, courteous and professional. I checked their consumer union page and they were rated as having a high percentage of their people certified by NATE. I would use them again.

The crew worked very hard to remove our old behemoth heating plant, which was very heavy and extremely large! Aside from some greasy marks and scratches on the basement floor, the removal went well. At one point, we had two Isaac vans and one large truck in our driveway! The various crews worked a very long, hard day just before Christmas 2005 to finish the job. By 8:30PM, they had our new furnace and central A/C unit completely installed, after a late morning start and in spite of the snow and bitter cold temperature. I felt sorry for the guys working outdoors to install the A/C unit on the frozen ground in our backyard! These guys are truly professionals, and they know their stuff and aren't afraid of hard work and long hours. I was impressed by how cheerful and well-trained they are. My one minor gripe has to do with some dirty boots making tracks to our upstairs hallway thermostat. Disposable shoe covers were nowhere in sight. Overall, they were great people!
Description of Work: They removed an old natural gas, wood/coal combination furnace and installed a new Rheem Contour high-efficiency gas furnace and Rheem central air-conditioning system.
