"It was nice to run into a former South Florida resident as my husband and I have been. Your savvy decoration gave away your high style and we were happy to make a few more pieces of the puzzle come together for you. When you need anything, call us, we will be there."
"As we recall, our first trip was to make sure of the best way to handle your project. So this involved two trips to get the job done. The second job we arrived with the specialty tools needed and finished the job. Also several calls were made to your cell phone following the work to assure all was to your liking , we did not receive one call back. Before the trip to do the job all was arranged for a family member to be there, and I stated there would be a sign off on satisfaction prior to collection of the materials fee outside of the two hour coupon for $79.00 specified by Angie's list. The sign off was made. To sum up here, the price grade indicates a D which doesn't fairly represent two trips, the use of specialty tools to finish a job rated B, which was stated as the highest grade. As to punctuality, we were there for the job execution at the time we stated, and the reason for not doing the job on the first visit was to assure the best method and tools to return to do this work properly. In most books that reflects professionalism and honesty , as well as extra time invested inside the coupon price not charged to you. I would be very happy to discuss details of the work, which I thought would have come as a result of a return phone call, instead of as a review after weeks of time passage. However I would be remiss not to recount the steps taken to arrive at good work you requested, that was executed and make a statement in response to your review. For the time and the work invested, the price should reflect much better than a D, perhaps I am missing something. I would not be a professional without returning in conversation here our thoughts and knowledge of your work and more sensible (nobody asked for all AA's though that's nice!) ratings. and very knowledgeable about household repairs.
"How proud we were to cut through some of your toughest tasks, receiving kudos and smiles after a leak was licked, or a room was done or any of the many tasks completed. We've seen a transformation in the house, your energy and the effect is what this business is about at its best. Getting a pilot light of energy going, when it seemed to have been hidden or snuffed out. Together we love to work with customers that open the door to possibilities, and now yours seem endless. We look forward to whatever call comes next tomorrow or the Spring to continue this fortunate work."
"You are an example of a tough mom running a household, taking care of so much. We were happy with your ability to listen, learn and appreciate how you can save money. Our first visit was only a small example of what we can help you with. When you are ready, we will welcome your call for more work."
"Working with professionals like yourself and your wife is always a pleasant experience. You were curious, asked questions and appreciated the smart solutions. As your move and new home demand some help, we are welcoming the new calls!"
"We were glad to offer the best solution in your lovely kitchen, and appreciated your help in running for materials needed to expedite the job. A pleasure to serve someone responsive and intelligent such as yourself. We look forward to any call for any other reason asking for our help!"
"The pleasure was ours to help you settle in your new home, [member name removed]. Magic would look forward to helping you out anyway, if there's any task you can't wrap yourself around."
"Your were so patient in the moving around of your basement fixtures! No easy task to restock the frig's and reassemble your space. We happy to undertake the work your offered. We'd make every effort to serve you even more efficiently as you need future work."
"A happy experience helping you out. I am sending you a good kick back bucks as you sent us a very good customer we worked for over the late summer. Thank you [member name removed] for passing our name around!"
My husband and I feel that we have found "gold". They are lovely, genuine, and caring individuals whom I will enjoy having a long-time relationship with to keep our home in top-notch condition. There advice and concern for the home-owner is exemplary!
We love you Diane and Magic!! Thank you for all you do to teach and help home-owners be more self-sufficient.
"We were glad you called us, and thrilled to help out with the tasks you needed. We look forward to any future work as needs present themselves and we can supply the energy to keep improving your home."
Update 12/11- I was having a little problem with the kitchen floor he was working on. The spacing in the floor was showing. I thought there was a warranty but he had to come back out and charge me for the work again because there was problem. I was a little upset they didn't have a warranty but he did good work.
"(member name removed), it was a pleasure to help you and we wouldn't hesitate to get dirty and get other jobs done as you need them. Hope you are well, and we look forward to hearing from you again."
They were very proactive in making sure that the tenant was comfortable with the choice of installation day. They made sure to get the materials on-site well before the installation day for acclimation purposes. The actual installation was accomplished in one day, but they followed up to ensure the work was done correctly.
As I am an out-of-town owner, it was beneficial to me to receive Before and After pictures, as well as pictures during the project. They also kept their eyes out for other problems in the home and I received several pictures illustrating issues that I was not aware of previously. I did get a chance to visit and see the resulting floor myself a bit later, and they were willing to come back on-site and answer questions.
All-in-all, they are a very cost conscious, considerate, and well-motivated team. I would use them on future projects.
"It's been a pleasure to be your in town fix it team, taking our orders from California. We stand ready to keep you in the clear on any problems that can be handled on your property here."
"We are happy to be your property managers. You have an easy understanding when mechanical problems or other concerns need to be addressed, and provide the seamless communication necessary to help get things done easily and well. We hope to be working for you for many years to come."
They were quick to the location, quick to respond with solutions and work quotes, and already acquiring necessary supplies by the time we finished our discussions.
We look forward to arranging other fix-it-up tasks for them to accomplish.
The offset flange only moved the toilet 1.75" but that makes an incredible difference in a tiny lavatory where the door would hit your feet if they weren't in the right places. It even makes the lavatory seem a little larger. So I'm thrilled that he was able to install the only offset flange I could get at Home Depot. Somehow, he made it all work perfectly.
The vinyl plank flooring looks beautiful. I'm very pleased with the style that I chose. Magic did a great job installing it and accomplished it very quickly. Unfortunately, the toilet reinstallation was much more involved than expected. Magic had to leave before finishing, but came back after dinner and completed the job.
Everything works and looks great!
"How wonderful that my first trip to your healing center provided a chance for us to transform the space into your dream operation. Magic found great energy in your space as it was upgraded and your help was very directly attached to the success of so many tasks. Thank you for helping us put a flag up as one of the first Angie's List members to review us. Working with you at your center is something we will always have great memory and excitement about. May you bloom your practice and grow more and more. If there are any small tasks you don't want to handle, we'll fly right back there! Namaste."
Magic is honest and reliable with reasonable prices and cost effective solutions. This is an old house that still needs more work. I will be calling Magic again in the future, as my budget allows.
