Description of Work: House key didn't work all of a sudden, went and purchased another deadbolt latch - lever for the front door at Big Box store, Grad on came and installed it in No Time likely split, tightened up a loose handle and was done in 30mins.or less turned out to be better than expected

Description of Work: When I called them I stated that I had lost the key to my pinball machine. They came out (on time), tried to open the lock, could not (they had left the proper pick at the office), so they had to drill out the lock. They did not have a replacement lock with them, although apparently these locks are fairly standard sizes. I ended up finding one at the hardware store and replaced it myself. The guys arrived on time, were friendly and seemed capable, but I felt that they should have been better prepared, since they knew in advance what they would be up against. They sent 2 guys, even though this job did not require 2 people. I don't know if that increased the price. All that being said, I would probably give them another shot if the need came up, to see if they could do better.

Description of Work: Needed a new ignition for a 2006 Suzuki Verona which do not exist anymore. Fradon lock was able to locate one and installed it without flaw all within 24 hours of calling them and telling them what my problem was. I couldn't be happier!!

Description of Work: Re-keyed 4 door locks and one deadbolt. Three locks were much more difficult commercial locks that were installed by the former owner. They had to be taken back to the shop to be re-keyed properly.

 + -1 moreThe job seems to be done well. The cleanup was however minimal. When I compare this to the labor charged... its unacceptable. That is my other gripe with the work - the labor charged for about an hours work totalled almost $200!! No complaints with the work done however... would use them again if needed... but only after a careful quote, which I did not have the time to accomplish this time.
Description of Work: Installed 3 deadbolts and repaired an existing one.

 + -1 moreWe were told that they would come between 9 and 12 am. The locksmith came at 9:30am and left by 10:15. Very courteous, and did a great job, even cleaned up after himself. Very highly recommended.

 + -1 moreGuys were on time, got my half key out of the deadbolt and were on their way in 15 minutes. Very personable and nice. We actually went over on Saturday and had new keys made at the shop and the keys work better than the originals! My husband (who had the keys made) said they couldn't have been nicer at the shop either - overall a great experience.
Description of Work: Had broken off my key in the deadbolt. They guys were able to remove the key quickly and were done in 15 minutes.

 + -1 moreThe person I spoke to over the phone was a little curt, but the two men who came (I don't think 2 usually come for something like this, but they were meeting here before going to another job and both did the work) were pleasant, efficient, friendly, and very tolerant of my 3-year-old's chatter and questions. Since we didn't have keys for 4 locks, they changed the locks on the 2 deadbolts, but did not have the right color knob/lock things. They tried a couple of ways to work around the problem and explained my options, and said I could call to have them come back. And they told me what to say I need when I call. Then, one of the men showed my son the tools and cabinets in the back of his van, and that made his day!

 + -1 moreThe workers arrived on time after calling to confirm our appointment. After arriving, they assessed all of the locks, and gave us an estimate of what it would cost to do the work. Once we accepted, they went right to work. It took them approximately 1.5 hours to change all of the locks, some of which were more than 40 years old. Once completed, they gave us our new keys, we gave them a check and the job was done. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
Description of Work: The workers replaced all of our exterior locks after we moved into our new home.
