Our experience with Joe and his team was exactly what you hope for. He is professional, personable and a straight shooter. Our job was started and completed as planned and we couldn't be happier with the results. Unlike so many others, Joe is a man of his word. He made suggestions that enhanced the work we wanted to be done and didn't nickel and dime us on minor changes. His team is also professional, friendly and NEAT. I highly recommend V&R Home Improvements.

My experience with this company was fantastic. From the time I called and spoke with Joe, he was very courteous and helpful - very upfront and realistic about cost and timing. I was in a bit of a rush and needed someone to do my kitchen backsplash within 2 days of calling. Joe didn't make promises until he knew he could deliver - and he did! He was able to get one of his guys to come in 2 days after initial contact to get the work I needed done. The worker was very punctual, professional and very detailed oriented. The quality of work is definitely there. I highly recommend Joe and his team! I will definitely be using his services again. Thank you so much Joe!!

The owner, Joe, sent an excellent worker, Oscar, to work on my house. Oscar was very punctual each day and worked the entire day and did outstanding work and was very neat. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Joe suggested cost-saving alternatives to repairs I wanted to do in my house, and they worked out better than my original plans. Joe also returned calls and kept me informed as to when they could start the job. After having bad experiences with other contractors, it was nice to have a contractor who is obviously very experienced and who is pleasant to deal with.

I saw the good reviews this contractor had on Angie's list. Called VNR for an estimate to have my bathroom re-done. I LEFT WORK EARLY to get home in time for the appointment. Nobody showed up nor did they call to cancel. Left a message an hour later asking if they were still going to show up.....no response. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Overall Happy with Joe and his crew. No complaints We are expanding and i will be using VNR again for everything needed

Joe and his guys were fantastic. Work was started on 24 May 17 and completed in approx. 5 weeks. This time frame included all work by Joe and the installation of cabinets, custom garden window and appliances. They were punctual on a daily basis ready to "Hit the ground running." I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. No questions were too big or small for them to answer and to provide their expert opinion. My wife and I could not be happier and pleased. Would not hesitate to hire them for another project or recommend their services.

I was extremely happy with Joe and his staff. They were very professional in every way! They showed up on time every day and when they left it looked like they were never here working. Joe had some great ideas and his staff was very accommodating to my needs! I would definitely be using them again in the near future to remodel my other bathroom

Joe, from start to finish is the best. I shopped around and got a lot of estimates from different contractors. I am very knowledgeable of how the bathroom should be built, Joe was the only one who didn't BS and told me everything that I needed to hear. He happened to also be about $1500. Cheaper then everyone else. As far as his crew, they are great, very nice, courteous ,and they make sure you are happy with the work that is being done. I am definitely going to use VNR again in the future.( I didn't hire Joe because he was cheaper, I hired him because he knows what he's doing)

Accommodated a tight deadline due to an upcoming inspection and the work was excellent. I already expect to hire them again, as I recently purchased a new home.

Joe and his crew did a fantastic job on my tile floors and painting.

We started on Oct. 17, with timing of our granite install and appliances being delivered, total work took about 3.5 weeks. Within the first week, the kitchen was looking brand new.. all walls resheetrocked, ceiling also done with sheetrock and high hats, gas and water moved and tiles on floor were done. We were now ready for paint... They have someone to paint.. if needed.. but I did that myself. Once the cabinets were delivered, they installed them right away. It took a week to get granite template and install complete. Joe, the owner and his workers were great. They were always on time, neat and respectful. Any issue that came up, it was handled professionally. Joe is honest and his work is so wonderful. I cannot believe how great our kitchen looks!! Joe's pricing is very reasonable. We had 6 estimates before making a final decision. His pricing did not waiver much from the quote.. $8700.. it was a few odds and ends that were incidental, and understandable... Our total came to $8890. We sourced our cabinets, tile, backsplash and appliances ourselves. Joe does have cabinet/tile recommendations.. but we decided to go on our own. Our work was completed on Nov. 9. And it looks incredible. I would hire them again in the future and do not hesitate giving them a high recommendation.

Absolutely EXCELLENT. As I said, when we called Joe, he came over in about 10 minutes. He examined our shower tiles, explained to us what needed to be done, and gave us a quote. We thought the quote was actually excellent and booked him right away. He gave us instructions of what we needed to get (the tile and grout we would want) so we got that from Home Depot. Joe and his team showed up on time on Tuesday morning and started the work. They demolished the old shower walls, took everything out, put in new waterproof sheet rock, and installed the tiles. The glue dried over night, and one of Joe's team members came the next morning to do the grout. Joe came by later in the day to look at the shower with me and make sure everything was good. I was very happy with the finished product and we took care of payment. Later that evening, I looked a little closer and noticed that there were a few tiny holes in the grout. I knew this was not because of poor workmanship, but just because of the grout drying and shrinking a little in a few places, but still I wanted it to be perfect and not let water get behind the tiles (and have the problem I had to begin with, haha). We called Joe to tell him about it, and he said, "Not a problem! I will come over tomorrow morning and fix it." And this morning, he came over and fixed every tiny hole in the grout. Joe and his team were friendly, courteous, kind, prompt, and did excellent work. I really appreciate that they also stand behind their work, that when I called Joe after we had already paid him, he came over right away to make sure that everything was fixed and the job was 100% perfect. I will definitely use this company again!!

Joe is solid and reliable contractor. He and his employees arrived promptly and completed the job in timely and efficient manner. We are beyond happy with the level of detail, attention and care that was paid to the renovation of our basement from start to finish. Each component of the job was completed by a skilled and knowledgable professional. Working with the entire staff of VNR was overall an extremely positive and exceedingly satisfactory experience. Joe Rizzuti was fantastic to work with. His pricing was very reasonable. He gave a timeline and stuck to it, even after my throwing several change orders his way. He is very flexible. He worked with me to stay within my budget. His work, and the finished product, came out beautifully. I would definitely use him again.

Everything came out perfect. I was so surprised with how beautiful of a job Joe & his workers did for myself. I had been thinking about renevating my basement for 2 years & it finally happened. I would recommend him to anyone that needs work done in their home. The price was not too expensive and the quality of the work was amazing. The workers were also very nice & kind to me and my family. It only took them a week to get everything done. I was very surprised at how quick & efficient the workers were. I could honestly not be happier at the finished product.

Renovation of Studio in my business (Intoxx Fitness of Staten Island). VNR completely renovated and customized my Spin studio. The job was clean and crisp with hardly any imperfections. I recently had my condo renovated by VNR Home Improvements. I am so very satisfied with the quality of their workmanship! Joe Rizzuti and his crew replaced my kitchen and bathroom completely- you can't believe the compliments I have been getting. Joe has been in business for many years, makes smart suggestions, and works well with his customers. They replaced my windows and sliding glass doors. Hardwood floors were installed throughout. They also painted, replaced doors, and refinished my staircase. No job was left undone! Completely satisfied with their professionalism and reliability.
