We highly recommend Joe and his staff at VNR. Joe was there for us every step of the way in the remodeling of the home and the creation of an open concept kitchen. Joe is an experienced contractor that worked with us and discussed his ideas to help us create our vision. Once he started the job, it moved very quickly, and every day was such progress. We couldn't believe the transformation. We are very happy with the work Joe and his staff have done. We definitely reccommend him for any remodeling job!

Joe and his workers did a complete bathroom remodel, they did a fabulous job. Julio and his nephew were extremely nice and extremely hard workers. Would recommend this company to anyone!

We can’t thank Joe and his team (Steve and Don) enough. The deck was sinking. I contacted V&R by doing a Google search for Deck Repair. As I went through the list I chose this company by a gut feeling. My gut was absolutely right choosing this company. They did an excellent job repairing the deck and other repairs needed. Joe’s customer service skills were outstanding. Very polite and trustworthy. We were so pleased with his service we received from this business. They went above and beyond to help and fix the deck and other repairs. We were very impressed with their work . We will definitely will hire V&R to renovate our basement in the future.

I contact V&R Home Improvements to have some remodeling work done on my home. From start to finish Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I explained to him what we wanted to do and what our budget was. Joe made sure that we stayed within budget, even when a little snag in the project arose. Julio, Angel, Thomas and Mike (his employees) were wonderful. The demo work was done so quickly and efficiently. Cleanup was done everyday. Any problems that came up, Joe and Julio addressed right away and everything was done properly. Cecelia, the kitchen cabinet person was also extremely helpful and made my vision a reality. I would highly recommend V & R to people who are looking for a contractor.

Joe and his crew were professional and easy to work with. They completed my basement job (flooring, windows, doors, ceiling, new lighting and ceiling tiles) and it looks great. The project was completed in the timeframe provided and there were no delays. I would highly recommend V&R and will use them again.

Joe and team did a good job with the remodeling of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms, which they finished in 8/20/21. Julio and Angelo were wonderful to work with because they listened to our suggestions and concerns. In fact, they came back just recently to finish some moldings and do a few fixes. Shout out also to Cecilia, the cabinet lady for sending someone also recently to fix a cabinet door that came loose and to check all the other cabinets. All in all, the renovation was a pleasant experience.

Joe and his team were excellent all throughout the project, great communication and service! They even finished the project earlier than expected and everything came out flawless. I would strongly recommend you DO NOT hire V&R construction. My husband and I moved into our new home in September (and old fixer upper).Joe was hired to finish my basement and remodel my upstairs bathroom. Along with new siding and work to the roof. This experience has been nothing short of horrible!!. The beginning months of construction started off smooth then it became a mess. Issues arose on this job when workers were not listening or uninformed from Joe about specific requests or concerns f. We noticed the workers were not listening to needs, mistakes were made. For instance, they forgot to pitch my new shower and had to redue the bathroom floor. Joe appeared to want to remedy the mistakes then his true nature came out. Joe began asking that the full payment for this large job be paid completely. Since some much works still needed to be complete we agreed a partial payment was satisfactory and the rest to be paid at the end of the completed project. Joe was paid and then went on it became no shows and unreturned phone calls. He left my new bathroom with spots along the flooring without grout , put in a heating system that was too small to heat the size bathroom therefore rendering the heat useless. (50sq ft heater for 200sq ft bathroom) his workers cracked my hardwood floor when putting in the new bathroom door and they left the molding outside the bathroom half falling off and cracked. . The last time Joe or his workers were actually at my home doing work was months ago and since then he had stopped returning calls. I was finally able to contact him today and ask that he come to discuss all the issues that arose in this job. He was disrespectful and argumentative and stormed away saying it could be taken up with a lawyer. Something I have all plans of doing now at this point. I would caution against using V & R construction and working with Joe. I am now left with a bathroom with no heat, and several mistakes. My basement is completely unusable he left it without plumbing and incomplete job. a complete mess. My siding is also incomplete and left without gutters on some parts of the roof. I am so regretful that I hired V&R and worked with Joe. He is untrustworthy, does not listen and obviously does not take pride in his work. Beware and find someone else.

Excellent paint job done by Julio & Angel with great suggestions by Julio on the kitchen wainscoting. This is the 3rd time that I have used Joe for home improvements. They are professional, courteous, neat & are moderately priced. I will continue to hire them.

Joe is the “go to” guy for any of your home improvement needs. His flooring team did an amazing job on our hard wood floors.

The work that VNR did was simply a work of Art. My bathroom came out amazing! I can not wait to see how the rest of my renovations come. The price was unbelievable for the time and effort that went into this project. Joe is not happy unless you are happy. His team is incredible. If you have work needed in your home or business, hire these guys!!!

Words cannot describe the feeling I had when I saw the finished product. You would never believe this basement was a dark, dingy, cold and depressing living space. My basement is now bright, sunny and unbelievably beautiful. I cannot believe what it now looks like. Plumbing, floors, painting, electrical, brightness, just happiness. Joe's crew was, as always, respectful of my home, always on time, quiet and very pleasant. I will always use Joe as my main contractor and always respect his decisions and choices. He is "Gold".

V & R did an amazing job renovating the inside and outside of our house. Joe and his team were reliable, professional, and easy to work with. Our house looks amazing and we could not be happier. Joe and Team are very professional and aim to ensure customers are happy. While there were minor unforeseen issues which required more time than anticipated, Joes team continued to work with a smile. While many contractors would have expressed frustration, Joe and his team were courteous, patient, and operated with a positive attitude. They ensured that everything was done right and as other reviewers have mentioned, they are VERY CLEAN. After the door was installed, there was a small gap between our custom tile molding and the door and while we are planning to remodel our kitchen, we didn't want to see the gap even if it was just for a month or two. Joe came back the very next morning and patched it up for us. He completely understood and reassured me that it was no trouble at all. It's a great feeling when you can work with someone who is receptive to concerns, even if its after receiving payment for their services. Excellent service and I cant wait to work with them again.

I had a very good experience with VNR Home Improvements. I had my bathroom and kitchen remodeled. Joe called me back every time I contacted him. The crew was there every day and worked very hard. Julio was easy to communicate and listened to my questions or concerns. The small issues that came up were addressed immediately and to my satisfaction. I've been in my house 36 years and it is wonderful to have a brand new bathroom and kitchen. I love them. Great work by VNR Home Improvements and they were very nice to work with.

Joe remodel my kithchen and bathroom recently 10/2020. WENT VERY WELL, superb!. I submitted the review before with pictures, I am not sure you rate it " D" which is absolutely NOT CORRECT. Even in my rating I said I will choose them again and all the time if I need anything need to done in my house. If I will rate someone " D" how I will can use again. I SEND YOU A MESSAGE TO YOUR SUPPORT CENTER TOO. This rating need to be corrected ASAP, which is not a true reflection of their excellent work. Let me know if any error at my end.

This is the second big project I have done with V&R and let me say they did not disappoint. I desperately needed to upgrade my pool deck and side deck and wanted to add an overhang from the house for the Patio. Joe and I sat down and went over some ideas and designs and they delivered better than I expected. Joe’s team is respectable, neat and overall great guys. These guys are top notch craftsmen. Along with any project, you start adding and coming up with more ideas like lighting, extra power, concrete, painting, etc. Each add-on Joe was able to accommodate and get it all done in a timely fashion. My family and I are loving the yard better than ever and look forward to the next project. Thank you !!!

V & R Contractors did a great job with my home renovations. They were reliable and did Beautiful work. Everything was done when expected and did not disappoint. Joe was very easy to get in touch with and made sure the job was running smoothly. He was very accommodating with minor changes and add-on’s during the entire job. His main concern was making sure I was satisfied with the work being done. I would definitely recommend him for any type of work needed in your home or business. V&R is experienced and knowledgeable , pricing is fair and I never felt that I was getting less than what I paid for. Joe definitely made renovating a house much less stressful than anticipated. I am extremely happy with the finished results.
