I found N&M Demolition on Angie's list. Phoned and spoke to Nelson, good mannered and professional. He arrived that afternoon--on time. Ask what I wanted done, then evaluated job and gave a clear description of what needed to be done and why. A quarter of the shed was rotted as well as the roof, most of the exterior shingles were blown off and what remained were rotted, the doors were hanging off the front of the shed. The contents of the shed consisted of rusted and very old patio furniture, toys, garden tools, broken roofing shingles, etc. The yard had 2 to 3 ft high weeds and grass hadn't been mowed all spring. It was a mess. Note: the shed was on a 8 inch slab of concrete which I asked if the crew could spare it while demolishing the shed. Nelson and his crew went "above and beyond" my expectations. They did the work w/in 21/2 hrs. and left the yard and surrounding area clean. The concrete w/out a scratch. Nelson gave me an estimate for the job Wednesday afternoon and the next day, Thursday, the job was done. Professional and Reliable. Thank you! Nelson removed everything quickly and cleanly. There were a few weather and time delays but he kept in good communication with me, which was appreciated.

Work performed as promised. Nelson's crew were hard-working and diligent in making sure everything was done right. They worked quickly but carefully, being respectful of our home. And they swept the place clean before leaving. Would definitely recommend N & M.

I was very pleased with the professionalism of the company - starting with Nelson, who came out within a couple of hours of first contacting him via Angie's List, to assess the situation and give me a quote. I considered the price to be fair and equitable taking into consideration the fact that this involved deconstruction of a damaged shed - including the prep work and all of the resulting clean-up. Nelson's Uncle Louie came out with his crew of two guys. They were all gentlemen and worked diligently to get the job done. I would use them again without question and highly recommend them to others.

foreman is a nice guy but this could have gone a lot better.. I had a water service main puncutured during demo and now I have to come up with 4k to fix it. they work hard but indiscriminately, and caused damaged I'm not happy i have to pay for.

Quick response time and punctual. They did all the work at the next day. Also, I like their friendly attitude. I would definitely ask them again.

We first received an estimate and discussed the project with one of the principals of the provider. After agreeing on the project and the price, the provider's workers arrived the next day as agreed and performed the work. They tore down the shed and removed it and some associated materials. They performed the agreed upon work exactly to specifications, were prompt polite and cleaned up after themselves. All in all we were very pleased with the woek.

Quick respondse, same day service ,great work ,very friendly people!!! My Whole basement and garage was empty and clean in 2 hour .

Nelson and his crew did an amazing job of concrete demo and haul-away from my backyard in Brooklyn. Nelson was very responsive throughout the process and stuck to his quote even though the concrete was thicker than initially thought. His crew was extremely professional and did a great job throughout the process including cleanup.

Arrived late, but did a great job in removing everything that was agreed upon.

Nick was responsive and thorough with the estimate and then his team did a great job when it came to actual demo work. There was a team of 3 or 4 guys plus a foreman who tore down my bathroom quickly and cleanly. Overall, I'm very pleased especially given their very affordable quote. I'd give them all A's except we did have to reschedule the job twice due to a lack of responsiveness in getting a properly filled out certificate of insurance doc. They also get a B for punctuality for being 45min late, not a big deal though since they finished early.

I gave the guy a call. He was very honest with me. I wanted to scrap a small metal shed. He told me it would cost too much, I'm better off doing it myself. Very nice guy and helpful and honest.

I called the company and Nelson called back within an hour. He set up an appointment to look at what I needed to have done. He arrived promptly at the set time, looked at the work , gave me a price and set up an appointment to do the work. His guys showed up on time and worked with me to get everything cleaned up. They also swept the floors making sure to wet the floors to minimize dust spreading throughout the house. The guys were thorough, professional and very easy to work with. Overall I was very satisfied with the job they did.

N&M sent a representative to give me a firm price the same day that I called them. They started work the very next day. The crew arrived on time and worked all day without complaint in 100+ degree heat. We were surprised to find an additional 6 inches of concrete and some bluestone rubble below parts of the surface slab. They removed all the concrete and took pains to rake the cleared space to leave it in clean condition. The entire crew was incredibly professional and worked efficiently getting the job done quickly and with minimal disruption. Great experience. Will definitely call them for any future demo jobs.

I can't stress how big of a job this was. It wasn't a routine "clean-out" N&M filled one whole standard garbage truck and had to call for another van (at no extra cost) to take away some bulkier items like the exercise equipment.

It turned out great. They did a quality job and had a fair price.

From the time I called to ask for an estimate until the men came to remove the door, Nelson was kind and helpful. We sent him pictures on a Saturday. When he saw the picture of the door obstructing the emergency exit, he even offered to come into the city on Sunday. They were easy to work with. They answered the phone when I called, sent someone out within a couple days to give a bid, and came the next week to do the work. It was a big job, and they had three men working for much of the day. Most of the debris came out through the brownstone chute, but they also covered our floors before they took any debris out through our house. When they left, I couldn't tell that they had carried huge amounts of debris through my house! They took a very short lunch break - and just pushed through to finish the job.

I called them about a backyard cleanup and fence removal on the Sunday before Memorial Day. They returned my call within an hour. Nelson came to take a look at the job on Tuesday while I was at work and gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable over the phone. A three-man crew showed up early Wednesday morning and took care of everything. When I came home, I had a new backyard. One nice touch was that the work crew thought to fill in the holes from where they had removed concrete to prevent someone from tripping or twisting an ankle. Overall I was very pleased with N & M. They were very responsive and did the job for a reasonable price without any hassle. I also liked that they were trusting enough to complete the job without requiring any up-front payment.
