Alex and Rafael arrived within the hour time frame and got started right away. They assessed the problem and determined they would need to snake the sewer drain. After some problems trying to take off the cap, they quickly finished the job. Both guys were very nice, professional and friendly. I would definitely use this company again

A hole was made in the sheetrock behind the shower and a hole was made on the ceiling below the drain pipe. All pipes in wall was replaced. Dennis the plumbler used all heavy duty pipes and he used the top of the line shower valves. The job came out beautiful he was very neat will he was working and was constantly cleaning up after himself. Dennis was a getleman and very professional. I would use Island Sewers again but would ask for Dennis cause of his work ethics and professionalism.

Hani and his team were terrific. There was a slow drip under the bathroom sink and they said they would tightened the pipe, to save me money. But they said if the tightening doesn't work, to call them back and they will replace the pipe. They did just that and came back quickly.

Island Sewers did a great job, they called to let me know they were running a bit late and then arrived shortly after the initial estimate. They cleared the drain in my bathroom sink and were ready to go within 15 minutes, it took them longer to leave just because I couldn't find my checkbook. They also honored, their 30-day guaranty, I called them back within 30 days to come check my drain since sometimes it would still drain slowly. I suspected it was not the drain that was the problem, but I wanted to make sure. They came the day after I called and confirmed that the drain was still clear, my problem was that the sink didn't have an air vent, I just need to make sure I allow air to go down the drain when using the sink and all is well (either by manually swirling the water or not letting too much water drain at once).

Everything was done quickly and efficiently. I already knew what the problem was and they confirmed it by doing a simple seal test. They came back the next morning and changed out the pipe. The rubber transfer clamp was a bit off and leaked just a tad and they came back the next day after I discovered this and quickly adjusted the clamp without further incident so far. The only negative was that they do not accept credit cards, which is hard to believe when running a plumbing business as plumbing services can be quite expensive. But overall I would use them again and recommend them.

They were prompt, professional, and very reasonable using Angie's list coupons that they honored. Hire these guys.

After my sewer overflooded several times, I called the IslandSewers first time back in January and they showed up on the same day and cleaned it. However, the sewer overflooded twice within a month again and called them again. After the third time they suggested video inspection of the main pipe and jet cleanup. The job itself was done very well and I actually hired them to do the periodically scheduled sewer clean-up at my other house. I highly recommend the IslandSewer as I will use them again myself if necessary.

I was more than pleased with the service I received from Island Sewers. Calls were all returned promptly. Hani was very flexible and coming to do the work to accommodate my schedule was no problem. I was given a time frame for arrival and they came within this timeframe. The work was done well and I must say how appreciative I am that the original vintage sink was preserved. (In the past I feel other plumbers took advantage of my mother and had her change a toilet in this bathroom, saying it was too old to replace the "works" inside the tank. Result: now the fixtures do not match) Also, there was a opportunity for doing extra work by working on a sink that was draining slow ( Our technician, Saul or Sael, told us to use a Draino type product) and fixing what we thought was a leaking pipe (He told us the pipe was not leaking and the water was probably coming from the water diverter in the tub, which he resealed). All this speaks to the honesty of this business. I was also very pleased with the amount I was charged. I am at ease with them and I will certainly use them again. Great experience.

These guys are real professionals! I didn't know what to do when the sewer was backing up into my basement bathroom. I bought the house less than 2 years ago, and we could not locate the house trap. The Island Sewers people has the right equipment; they used a video equipment to locate the trap behind the wall. The job turned out much bigger than I anticipated because we needed to break the wall, but the Island Sewer guys were both fast and neat. They didn't leave any mess, and they also helped me patch up the wall. Another thing I liked about them was that their manager explained what needed to be done very clearly, and was willing to work with me to solve the problem and get the work done right within my budget. They were polite, and really wanted to help. I really appreciated that.

Extremely professional and courteous - very responsive Would absolutely use again

We called 5-B Island Sewers at eight o'clock on a Wednesday morning. The company assured us that they could do indoor plumbling repair. Two repairmen arrived at 9:00 a.m. They checked the main pipe that supplies regular water and confirmed that it was leaking. They went out to buy new pipe but they were back in an half hour. By 10:30 a.m. they were done and ready to leave. The company gave us $25.00 off for using Angie's List. We were pleased with their work and the price was reasonable. We definitely will use this company again in the future. We will let you know if we use this company again. Glad that we checked Angie's List.

Hani and his crew jetted the main sewer line and camera it. They offered professional advice and suggestions on maintaining the sewer lines. These guys are truly professionals.

Late Thursday night on 4/10/14, I noticed there was water on top of my water heater and some corrosion surrounding one of the pipes connected to the water heater. After work on Friday 4/11/14, I went online to Angie's List, and entered Water Heater repair. Angie's List offered several plumbers that were in my area. I call several plumbers with the best review ratings that were nearby, and Island Sewer had the best price for the Water heater replacement, and were the only company available for immediate installation. The other companies I contacted, told me that they were booked until the following Monday or Tuesday. Hani, the company's owner, stated that he could be at my home within the hour, and he was. He and his assistant, were able to remove and replace my water heater in an hour, and were patient and courteous with my numerous questions. I highly recommend Island Sewer, and will use them again for any future plumbing issues.

On a Friday evening, I noticed a bad odor coming from my basement. I called island sewers and Manny answered the call and was at my house 30 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem and was able to unblock my sewer and take care of the gaseous odor. He let me know step by step what was happening and what he was doing. He was not at all intimidated by my 102 year old house and never made any excuses about the difficulties of getting to the pipes or crawling into a tight space. He said he would come back the next morning with all his equipment to further ensure the job was done. He came exactly when he said he would and did a great thorough job. He and his workers were knowledgable, courteous, respectful, and his price for all the work he did was more than fair. They get the job done quickly and neatly. I will be doing more work on my home and I wouldn't call anyone else but Manny.

Last night my hot water heater burst. Looked up names on Angieslist and called Island Sewers. Despite the lateness of the hour, Manny took my information down and said not to worry, they would be there within 2 hours. Sure enough, around 8pm, the hot water heater was delivered and installed by Saul. he was very professional and easy to deal with and got the job done quickly. 7:30 this morning, Manny called just to make sure everything was fine and that I was happy. What a find!! Would definitely recommend.
