Solved in a jiffy. Been using them for years.

Prompt, neat and very professional job. Mike and Alex came in exact time, quickly determined and explained the problem and efficiently perform the fixed. All (try snaking w/o opening wall. opening wall, get an access, replace part of the piping, clean drain, test and clear after work) took about 2 hours. Job was well done and certainly worth the price. Thank you!

Called for a broken and leaking outdoor hose valve. They gave me reasonable quote but there was a possibility that they would have to make a hole in my living room wall to get access to the pipe. They gave me some DIY suggestions before any destruction needed to be done. If their suggestions do not work out, there is no doubt I'll be hiring them to fix the problem.

Plumber was professional. They were immediately available and did a great job. Worth every penny.

GREAT!! I called at 10 a.m., he arrived by 10:40 with the right tools, a great attitude and willingness to hear that we had the problem a few years ago and that we knew what the "fix" probably is. The service guy provided neat, tidy, efficient work. Done in about a half hour. It was only snaking the trap (the washing machine backed up into the 1st floor shower the nite before uuuggh), someone else came and suggested way more complicated ($$) solutions that was just not necessary. I meant to do this pre-emptively, but I didn't. Simple diagnosis, accurate solution . Thanks Island Sewers! I will recommend you, for sure!

He was great, called with ETA, showed up and listened to what was happening. He couldn't get access through the pipes and demonstrated why, explained that a section would have to be cut out and replaced and what the cost would be in addition to the cost of the snake. Great experience for a not so great situation!

This company was great ... they arrived within an hour of my calling. It took some time to clear the drain in the kitchen as there was much grease trapped in it. The bathroom sink had been connected fairly recently; Manny, the workman, told me that it was not done correctly and that the wrong parts were used. I asked him to change the parts to the correct ones which he did. Manny was extremely polite and he and his helper did everything to do a neat job. Both drains are working perfectly now. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone.

The heavy rains during the week caused yet another sewer backup and it was threatening to overflow into my basement. I needed someone ASAP early on Palm Sunday morning and found Island Sewers on Angie's list. I called at 7:30 a.m. and was told someone would be there within the hour and was given a price quote of $225. There was a 10% coupon on their website for 1st time customers and I was instructed to give it to the plumber at the time of payment. As promised Manny and Gordon came to my house within the hour and got to work. They snaked the main line and I asked Manny to snake the 2nd line outside my basement door. He initially didn't think it was necessary as he snaked the main line but complied with my request as I told him this line has been a continuing problem and he agreed with me that it was necessary. He made some suggestions on how to help prevent this from continually happening and at no time pressured me into booking additional work. He suggested jetting then followed by the camera to totally clean out the lines. If I booked this work within the week the fee I paid for having the lines snaked would be deducted from the jetting/camera service. Manny and Gordon were very professional and cleaned everything up before they left. I would definitely use them again.

Manny was great from the moment I called feeling desperate for help. The issue was complicated which I discussed with him from the time I called, and it is affecting several homes in our cult de sac. Several of the homes overflow pipes were leaking sewer water and toilet paper right in front of the homes and shared space. Manny took on the challenge anyways and agreed to come in and check it out to see if he could help. He tackled the issue and was upfront with us about the cost, what was needed and what was not. He was persistent and was able to unclog the line from the outside cleanout. He removed rocks and bricks from the bottom of the cleanout. He jetted the line all the way out to the street. Everything was unclogged and Manny did a fantastic job cleaning up all that clog and sewer water. Since then, our overflow pipe stopped leaking and so did the overflow pipes of the other homes that were affected as well. I cannot recommend Manny from Island Sewers enough. He managed to fix what the company hired by our home owners association wouldn't even bother to come in and look at because of the issues beyond the clog. Thank you so much Manny!

I got a quote, but I did not go beyond that. I ended up using someone else. I just got something more cost effective. Can you give them an seller review. They came out, it was a leak in the house. They looked at my meter, and the meter wasn't running. So, its tile work. They are reliable, prompt. They said its not the type of work you need, its tile work. I think they left without even billing me for the visit. Which is really good. Excellent. Very good experience. I would highly recommend them. They were honest. Came in, looked at the work, and said its not for them. Its not the project like you think it is. They were honest. It was our tile. They were honest with me.

I would recommend them to my neighbors if they needed an plumber. They came and diagnosed the problem, and repaired the problem in an professional way. I have not had an re occurrence in the problem, since they fixed it.

i have a problematic toilet bowl and they gave me professional input on how to handle this problem. I have confidence in advice and will be calling them back in the very near future to have further work done.

They were very responsive arrived about 2 hrs after I called about my problem. He was able to get the drain cleared so that the sink no longer backs up during the washing machine rinse cycle. The clean out access is not well designed, but he was able to get the job done well.

Customer service with Island Sewers was great! On point, knew who I was when I called, and helped identify a partner company to help through some additional external work on the sewer line.

I've used them in the past and they were as good as they were before. They came the same day that I called them and replaced a rusted pipe that had a hole under my sink. They offered me two options, which one of them was significantly cheaper to remedy the problem. I chose the more expensive fix because I didn't want to have any further issues in the future. So they replaced all the pipes under my kitchen sink and honored the angies list coupon they posted without a problem. All new pvc and brass fittings for my double kitchen sink. A day later my wife noticed that the sink was again slightly leaking but from a different spot. I called them immediately and Saul came right over and replaced the plumbers puddy at 8pm at night. They stand by their work and don't give you the run around like other contractors. This is the 4th time that I have used them and I'm as happy as can be. Finding a good plumber on staten island and one that stands by their work is difficult. Good guys, friendly and cleans up after themselves. I'm going to use them for my future bathroom renovation.

Sal and Luis did an excellent job. They checked all the details of the job and did not cut corners. They worked efficiently and were responsive to our concerns and details of the job that were important to us. We hope to work with them in the future.

My wife had called me because the drain outside the basement door had backed up and started to come into the basement. There was already a good amount of water in, but not too bad. I usually get the traps cleaned yearly, but had skipped the last year (or two). I came onto Angies List and looked for a local place with good ratings. I called Island Sewers hoping that they would be able to come the next day, as it was already past 8PM. To my pleasant surprise they said they could be at my house in about an hour. This was great. They showed up as promised and Eddie was very professional and explained things as needed. They really helped make a bad situation not bad at all. I would definitely use them again. I have their magnetic card in the laundry room for next time. Thanks David
