Description of Work: I bought a lovely wooden end table and a gorgeous small chest of drawers, with inlaid wood and a grey and pink marble top, at a Berkshires antique shop 25 years ago. Over the years, a piece if the table top had broken off and the chest was seriously chipped, and a few pieces of the wood had actually broken/fallen off. Akin from All Furniture Services, along with an apprentice, came to my apartment, took and sent a few pictures to the All Furniture Services Office, gave me an estimate in five minutes and in the next hour and a half repaired both pieces! They filled the missing/chipped wood with some sort of filler/putty, then sanded it down, and then painted it to match the wood. They look fantastic. I am so happy. I love these pieces, and didn't think they could be repaired or that I could afford the repairs. It wasn't cheap, but it was reasonable. The table was $175 and the chest was $325. The home visit was $40 and I gave them each a $40 tip. Akin and his apprentice were prompt, polite, and friendly, They put a covering down in the floor, and cleaned up everything before they left. Great, great job.
