Description of Work: Repaired a crack in our antique dining room table with color matching and repair of two broken chair backs. | |Showed up on time and finished repair in about 1 hour. The chairs look like nothing happened and the table looks good, you can tell that there was damage but that was to be expected, so overall happy with the work.

Description of Work: They resurfaced chipped wood stools in the kitchen, made them look like new. Replaced wheels on a movable 2-drawer filing cabinet. Fixed 5 desk chairs' height mechanism and arm rests. Cleaned a big stain off an upholstered chair in our reception area and made it look new. They are expensive but totally do the job and save in the long run what it would cost to replace the furniture.

+ -1 moreI inherited a small, intricately carved coffee table from my parents. The glass was broken and, because the table had been stored in an attic for decades, the frame was loose and wobbly. A technician was sent to my apartment to evaluate the project, take measurements and pictures ($40 fee for this). A day later, I was called with an estimate. $195 for the glass, $595 for the other repairs. I agreed to the repairs and the table was picked up in a timely manner and returned to me a week later (no extra charge for pick-up and delivery). Table looks great! They added a slightly thicker glass so it would not be so prone to breakage and even put double-stick tape on the frame to secure the glass top more. I was impressed with the care they took to make sure I was satisfied (follow-up call after table was delivered). Not a cheap enterprise, but they did a wonderful job and the table is precious to me. I would do it again if I had to.
Description of Work: Glass replaced on small (25 x 18) coffee table. Frame needed to be re-glued and reinforced, cleaned, filled-in, touched up and slightly finished all over. Entire piece needed to be restored.

+ -1 moreFrom my first contact with the company I was impressed with their prompt and curteous response. We arranged a date for the piece to be delivered and installed and the service person arrived well within the window of time specified. The first thing he did after stepping into my foyer was to slip disposable covers over his shoes. It's amazing how reassuring such a small detail can be, but it told me instantly that he was a professional and would treat my home with care and respect. Again, he was courteous and pleasant, answered my questions and proceeded with the installation. As I had, at one point, considered ordering the replacement part and doing the installation myself, I couldn't help noticing the process was more involved and required a level of expertise and precision way beyond my ability. When the work was finished the room was neat and tidy, without a trace of debris, and I was very glad I hadn't attempted to do the repair myself. From start to finish the process went so smoothly I wished I hadn't put it off for so long! The end result was very satisfactory, and it was a pleasure doing business with the company.
Description of Work: Replace the torn polypropylene deck (mattress support) on a queen size sleeper sofa.
