When Mr. [Member Name Removed] called he didn't mention that the rear of his cape was over 2 1/2 stories requiring a 32' ladder, or I would have told him at that time and maybe passed on the job or given the option to do the 4 other gutters instead. As per the price rating, $65 is a fair minimum for a raised cape (single story front-2 story rear) and he had that secondary 2 1/2 -3 story gutter up higher that I would have added $10 if able to have reached. I understand and Respect the "B" but I feel the need to respond to the "lack of tools" and "Price" comment.

Description of Work: Cleaned gutters and downspouts that hadn't been cleaned in at least 6 years. No mess afterwards, as though they hadn't been there. Clean, quick, punctual, and thorough. Sal Gingello is the owner and does the work himself. No complaints, only satisfaction with Sal's professionalism.

I called Hi-Lo on Tuesday - a guy named Sal responded the same day and came out to the house on Wednesday. He threw his ladder up and went to work blowing out the gutters. Total time spent about 30 minutes. He told me only the gutters were clogged and the downspouts were clear. My impression of him was that he was honest and straightforward. I did not get another estimate, but I still felt the price was very reasonable. (I think it important to note that I called the #1 guy on Angies List of gutter guys, but after 3 phone calls and a couple of excuses, I gave up trying). I plan to call him next year.
Description of Work: Blowing out the gutters. The front of the house is 2 stories, the back is 3 stories. He cleaned all gutters and swept away the debris.

Description of Work: The person who arrived goes by Sal not Sam as listed on Angie's List. I was told $75.00-$95.00 and would get a Senior discount on top of that. He used a power blower and blew debris all over. I had screens in the gutters and he removed them and threw them on the ground. He did not not clean out several of the highest gutters. He left all of the debris he removed in the yard for me to clean up.He raised the price to $115.00 and then told me with the senior discount that comes to $95.00. This guy is a con artist. I made out the check and discovered the mess after he left so I stopped payment. He called me to find out the problem and I told him to return and do the job correctly and he would get paid. He returned to clean up the debris but was not going to clean the gutters he left. I told him he did not give me a senior discount. He became very verbal with vulgar langauge and threatened to put a lean on my mortgage. This man does not have a DBA listed under his name Sal or Sam or the name of the business. This is not a legal business in New York State. He left without doing anything.

First off, this woman, I have never met and dont know of her.The woman who hired me was a different woman and in her 80's. I quoted her $75-95 over the phone because she was unclear in describing her home.When i arrived that day i found a huge house with 3 story gutters in the rear and steep unwalkable roofs. I noticed screens in all the gutters and told her i would have to remove them which would be xtra (because most are impossible to remove sometimes).The screens were not functioning and sunk in the gutters with debris over them.I told her i would remove what ever ones were bad and leave the ones that were functioning.i had to remove the entire front and left them in a pile in the driveway,asked her to open the garage door for her refuse container so i could throw them out and proceeded to the rear. The rear was worse and i also removed two .I then laddered the third story gutter and watched her reading a book as I moved my ladder across and cleaned the ENTIRE gutter as she glanced at me occasionally.Then i gathered the screens from the rear to bring them to the front to find the garage door closed and my 1st pile of screens gone! I then asked her to open the garage door again so i could throw out the remainder of screens and gutter debris, and she said its o.k. just leave them in a pile next to the door she'd take care of it. I asked," Are you sure," she replied "yes". I told her I was finished she said that was fast and said i'll write you a check.I told her with the removal of the screens being xtra and her house neglected for years in the rear uppers, i wouldn't charge her the xtra $15 but her price was as quoted... the high end of $95 as agreed before i came.( this house without the screens was worth $110 ALL day long! She said ok thanks and was satisfied with that and gave me a Bogus check with insufficient funds.I didnt try to cash it for two days because i wasn't worried with her being a senior and didnt have the time, with commitments.Finally after two attempts to cash,multiple calls ,I reached her.I asked if there was a problem with her bank?, not thinking she had no intention of paying me,and she floored me with her dissatisfaction of my work and accused me of leaving a mess and skipping 2 gutters and wasnt paying til I came back and cleaned up. I insisted to her i cleaned every gutter and tried to put the debris in the garbage and she called me a liar! I said I would be right over to remedy this and make her happy! I showed up 30 mins later in a light rain and she yelled,"Why are you here? I told you not to come ! I asked where the screens were, i would take care of them to satisfy her and put my ladder up and have her neighbor( who was listening to the whole discussion from his porch), check the two gutters to prove to her they were cleaned and then she freaked out on me and called me a foul name! I then realized she NEVER intended to pay me. After two trips to her home and two trips to cash a check,i was for the first time ever,... PLAYED by a woman who again had no intention on paying. It's a shame to be leary on accepting a check in the future,(because of one Bad Apple!) ,but my customers,my reputation ,and my 2011 Service Award hopefully speak for itself !

He was able to come the same day and clean our gutters. Did so in a very timely manner, was thorough and very profession. We definitely recommend and us him again. It is nice to have someone to call and know it will get done correctly. He has all the right tools to the job done.

I found my gutter guy. He is quick, responsive and honest. I'm fairly handy, but heights aren't my thing. I will use Sam for anything that requires heights. Trust me....you will not be disappointed by the service you receive.

He is amazing and really good. He is thorough, honest and competent. I am going to use him for some gutter work that I need done. He cleaned up and made sure there was no debris left around. I trust him. He has been doing it for about 4 years. He is like a real person. One year I went out of town and he cleaned the gutters and just sent me a bill instead of making me pay ahead of time. I checked other people and his price was better. Another company has referred him to me.
Description of Work: I used High Low Gutters for gutter cleaning. I have a two-story house and he cleaned the gutters and the gutters on the garage and back porch.
