D'Angelo's Plumbing & Heating

My wife had found them and they were available and as far as I know she found them through Angis's list. As far as we had an interaction with them so far is, they are professional and when the guy came in, he had a nice outfit, he's not miserable and acting irritated about his work which is nice. I haven't had anything to detract it so I will say an A. They had no problem taking out units we made decorations on them because we just moved in our house.

They replaced old furnace with 97% efficient furnace, humidifier. sleeved chimney and wired furnace to it's own breaker. I love that they are very knowledgeable courteous and on time. They even call when they are on the way. This is the second time I have used them and both times they cleaned up very well and did all they said they would do. I would recommend them to everyone.

They were really, really nice. One time when my plumber was unavailable for my mom's house and a pipe burst, one of the D'Angelo sons was filling in for my plumber on the weekend. I already had somebody from their family that has done this and they are a family owned business so I called them. I felt that they really knew what they were doing and they were about on par for price because I had a lot of plumbing issues and they were about the same price range that I have been paying. They came quickly. They were really good both times.

I thought D'Anglo's did a great job given the environment the technician had to work in. The technician had to crawl on his belly about 20 feet in a very small crawl space to get access to the faucet. He made that trip several times. If it wasn't for the situation and cramped workspace, I thought the price was a bit high, for parts and labor. I didn't get any other estimates. I would use these guys again, but would definitely obtain other estimates. Overall I think it might have taken the installer about three hours to completed the job.

I purchased one of those "deals" and I received one estimate which was lower than when he came to do the work. He stated that he did not account for the shelves under the sink that would have to be removed and added more money which quickly wiped away any "deal". So I basically just paid for the estimate.

how can I rate something that was never done. Because you insisted I gave him an A because what else could I do, Its even insisting on a work date when eveyrthing should have been an NA but it wouldn't allow that. Frustrating, Had to put in today's date.

It's excellent. I can call them up, ask for the plumber I want. They show up on time. They call me before they come. They take a look at what's going on. The last time I called them, he even did a couple little tweaks on things. He wrote that down on his report, that he tightened down the toilet and put no charge next to it. When they come you know what they are going to do, they put it on their report, you know how much you owe them and for what services they provide by the time they walk out the door. I was so please with them I sent a letter of recommendation to their boss. We had put in a new toilet on our own. He tightened it down, he took the time to explain the situation because it was a different style of toilet. I had talked about putting in a vanity and he walked me through things to do and how to do it if I wanted to do it myself. He wasn't milking us for time or information. While he was here everything he gave us was information that was going to help us. He snaked the drain and explained what was going on. It was great because he and my husband worked together. My husband took him downstairs and he said he had been here. It was nice to see them working together positively. He was here for awhile. These are the guys I am going to give a call to give me an estimate on work another company had done.

Found out after the service I could have purchased filters for less money and have the work completed. Everything went fine. The only thing the tech had to offer was to change the filter. No complaints. The tech was prompt, professional, and clean. Let me know what needed to be done and waited for my confirmation before doing any work.

The toilet handle was broken. We tried to fix it ourselves and were not successful. It took them two trips because they did not have a part. It now works well. The plumber explained the problem, what they were going to do to fix it, and what it would cost. Can't ask for much more than that.

The plumber arrived punctually, introduced himself, and put on shoe covers. A congenial person, he worked quickly and professionally and got the jobs done well.

It went well. The provider was prompt, friendly and did a good job. No complaints.

They came out after business hours, within an hour of when I called, fixed my toilet in under 10 minutes and did not charge me. No parts were needed because it turned out that some gravel chips had gotten into the guts of the toilet, causing it to just keep filling. Let me just say that I have used their services before, and have always been very pleased. I will never go looking for any other plumbing service because they are the best in town.

We called after hours because our tenant's bathtub drain was leaking into the ceiling. Received a prompt call back. Sean was able to come out and fix the problem within a half hour. He was professional, courteous and friendly. We were very happy with the services.

I called Saturday, 11/1, after realizing the intermittent drip at the valve that we noticed a couple of months ago had become a fast drip and was no longer something we could get to later. The office had thought they'd be able to get someone out to us the same day, at no extra charge, but called (as discussed) a couple of hours later to let us know they couldn't fit us in after all. It wasn't an emergency, and scheduling soon was to keep it that way. They let us know they could have someone out between 8 a.m. and noon today, Monday, 11/3. They called at 8 a.m. to say a tech was on his way. Joe arrived promptly and after about 45 minutes had a new valve installed. He was courteous and professional. It's been several hours and we just checked to ensure nothing is leaking. We're happy to say that everything is in good order. Please note that the "B" rating for price indicates a good price -better than fair. We did redeem a 5% discount coupon offered for Angie's List members, saving us almost $13. There was no break-down to indicate how much was parts vs. labor, however, I found prices online for the same valve to be $150-175. That means we paid somewhere around $80-105 for someone who knew what he was doing to drive out, confirm what needed done, supply the correct part, install it, clean up, and handle the payment all in just one hour. Other companies might have charged a diagnostic or service fee just for coming out, without counting it toward the actual work. This was our second repair of any sort (first for plumbing) we've had since we moved in six months ago. We've got plans for remodeling that involves plumbing. We know who we'll call when we get to those projects. This was the best plumbing experience we've had.

I called D'Angelos at or about 10am Sunday morning and spoke with their answering service. The answering service assured me someone would call me back shortly and to call them again if I did not receive a call shortly. Sean called me back in minutes and came out to my house approximately one hour later. He was professional, informative and very respectful in addressing my plumbing issues. He resolved the clog/drainage issue via snaking the line and got me back up and running within a couple of hours. I realize I paid more for a Sunday visit, but it was not unreasonable and I was elated to have this problem resolved before starting the work week. This is the second time I used their services and was pleased both times. Would highly recommend. Thank You D'Angelos.

I found this company on Angie's List. It was a special deal--$35 for $100 of services. My only problem was a leaky faucet. The guy told me it was a big job and couldn't be done for $100, that it would cost $200. Since my $35 gave me credit for the first $100, I paid another $100. The faucet started to leak a few days later. I called them and they came back, but explained to me that "some rebuilds work and some don't", and that to stop the leak, they would have to tear down the wall and replace the whole fixture, for nearly $700. I was stunned. I would think that fixing a simple leaky faucet would be easy for any good plumber. I was even more shocked when they told me they would not give me any credit for the rebuild that didn't work--I'd have to pay full price. I will now have to engage another company to fix this simple problem. This company is not up to Angie's List standards.

They did a marvelous job. I don’t know how much they charged me because it went directly between them and the insurance company. They were fast, quiet and thorough. They didn’t clean up the dust that they could have. I don’t know if it was quality work or not because I’ve never seen that done before. Their responsiveness was really great. I do not know about their punctuality and professionalism because my husband dealt with them.

Everything was fine. They were professional and effective. Everything got fixed and we have not had any issues with the repairs. They also followed up with us after the purchase and came on time. I would recommend them.

The compressor was drawing too much currrent at start up so he replace the capacitor. He was professional and explained all the worked he was doing. overall, good experience

Went well- was a groupon that we used in Sept. 2013 and it was too cold for the tech to check the air conditioning. We called in May and the visit was scheduled quickly and done within a few days.

They did a good job and the price was reasonable.
