The gentleman that showed up was very nice and professional. But at this point, I wouldn't be comfortable using this company again. I bought a furnace cleaning deal for $55. He wasn't here very long when he came up and said there wasn't much for him to do because it's an electric furnace (which I told the company before I purchased the deal), and really what I needed was to have the A/C cleaned instead. But since that couldn't be done in the winter, I would have to wait until summer, and pay again, to have that done. He also said he would install his own filter, even though I had 5 brand new filters already sitting there next to the furnace (he acknowledge he saw them). There was an additional charge of $32.35 for a "filter", so there was confusion around which filter for the furnace or the humidifer. He did say there was an issue with the humidifier, so he turned that off and said he would order a part for it (that will cost an additional $236) and he will need to come back to install. He also tried to up-sell me on a maintenance plan, additional $449, and told me I should add a heat pump. When I asked how much that would be, he said, "It will save you money on your energy bills." Um, that didn't answer my question. Ultimately, this wasn't the experience I was looking for.

The technician showed on time explained everything and completed the work in a timely manner.

Purchased the coupon ($55 for $89 inspection). Scheduler called promptly and was able to schedule a technician for the following day. Josh was punctual and professional and seemed to do a thorough job. I would go back to these guys in a heartbeat.

D'Angelo's Plumbing replaced the main waste line from the bathroom/kitchen to the septic system and the related vent pipe; along with some minor plumbing repairs that were needed. They were professional, prompt and completed the entire job in one day as promised. (They even called in additional help to make sure it was done one time). Great Job~

It was okay. They came within a few weeks after I called them. I paid more than the "Big Deal" for what I had them do. The price seemed a bit high.

By one week after repair, the lateral movement was still as stiff as ever, and the faucet had come loose again in the formica countertop. I called their office and reported the problem, they sent the same guy out promptly, he agreed to again tighten the faucet to the formica countertop, but would not again attempt to remove the stiffness in the lateral movement which he had diagnosed as causing the faucet body to come loose in the countertop, without charging another additional amount. He said he wasn't sure what was causing the stiffness problem but that it might be that the Kohler faucet's bushings were defective, and that is what had caused the stiffness rather than lack of lubrication. Any additional effort to determine that or to lubricate it further would cost me more money as would, of course, a kit with bushings if needed, plus the labor. I told him to let it go. Our main concern was the looseness in the Formica countertop as this could lead to water soaking the pressed wood base of the countertop, and that we would have additional work done on the faucet if it again became loose in the countertop.

They did it quickly and correctly. They came out within a couple of days after I called them. I even recommended them to my ex-wife, which they did excellent service for her as well.

i was very pleased with this service, having had many such service providers in the past. Very professional man from deAngelo's arrived just after promised window of 9-12 A.M. In process of cleaning furnace, he discovered that attached humidifier was in serious need of cleaning. Angie's List had a deal of $55 for the furnace cleaning which i had purchased. i had been concerned about the humidifier, having noticed that it was also supposed to be cleaned yearly. No One has ever mentioned this to me before, and it had not been cleaned since installation 8 years ago. My fault, but I didn't realize it. DeAngelo's serviceman noticed the problem, and told me about it. I did not in any way feel pressured to do more. I asked, and he said it could be serviced for an additional $65. i was grateful to have it taken care of. Her actually had to spend extra time scraping deposits off with a screwdriver! He gave me the product number for the filter and told me where to buy it. In sum, it was a service call which directly addressed my needs, and helped me take care of them. He was willing to take time to explain what i needed to know.

Bought a Big Deal. Prompt service! Was told name of plumber (Ken) who was being sent out for the job and he arrived on time. He was courteous, efficient and professional. Went to work right away and the problem was quickly resolved. Now I'm ready for holiday company!

Nick was a one-man band. All the materials and dumpster arrived on the first day. He gutted the room, then put the tub in. Since it's the only one in the house, he left the toilet in and worked around it. Doing all the work himself, he did all the wallboard, then tiled the floor. By Friday, I had the window and the new toilet in. Monday, through Wednesday were spent doing grouting and getting the painting done. Just as he was ready to leave, they had brought in one of their plumbers to work on a slow sink drain. It turned out there was a big clog that had caused damage to a pipe behind the toilet. Matt replaced the pipe after Nick had them cut a hole in the wall board that he had installed. Joe then finished it up this week, sealing up the hole and repainting. All of the D'Angelo's staff were involved, or so it seemed, all polite, willing to work with and around me. Clean up was done every night and at the end.

They showed up on time and were professional. They wore footies in order to keep the floor clean which I appreciated. They did a great and I would highly recommend using them. I will continue to use them in the future.

I was out of town when my 20 year old hot water heater decided to die. I called D'Angelo's when I returned from my trip around 12:30pm and they had a technician (Ken) at my house by 3:30pm the same day! Another tech (Terry I believe) showed up to help and everything was completed in less than 2 hours. Both guys were really nice and professional. I'm so grateful for such a smooth, pleasant experience!

Technician visually inspected/cleaned/adjusted - as necessary - burner, igniter, flame sensor, flue passages, drain system for hose connection tightness, blockage and leaks.

The serviceman checked all the components and suggested several items to improve the performance. I decided to have the work done and the A/C has worked well for the rest of the summer. The rep was very professional and the work was completed quickly. I would recommend their service to my neighbors.

I called D'Angelo's after reading many plumbing reviews on Angie's List. I chose them because of all the great comments and the descriptions of how pleased their customers were. I am so glad I called them. I was originally calling to ask about hot water heater replacement, and they were at my house within 45 min. of the call. I was concerned about dirt or water getting on the new carpet in my basement and they assured me they would wear booties and lay down plastic/drop cloths so no dirt would get on the carpet or anything else. They replaced the old hot water heater, set the new unit up with a tray around it that is hooked to an alarm, so that in the future if I ever had a water leak, we would know asap. They showed me how to use it and I feel very confident about it. While draining the old water heater, they discovered that our 25 year-old sump pump was no longer even working, so they replaced that, too! As a bonus, they cleaned out the furnace, and they checked out our broken humidifier to see why it was not functioning. I will be hiring them in the very near future to replace a valve in the humidifier. The installer showed me how everything on the new hot water heater works, taught me how to drain sediment from the bottom of the water heater and how to use the new alarm, as well as how to shut off water to ONLY the hot water heater in case we ever needed to do that. The service was excellent. My house was perfectly clean with no puddles of water left anywhere, no mess whatsoever. The installers were very pleasant and professional and I felt the prices were very fair. I had checked nearly every plumbing company review on Angie's before deciding who to go with, and I am very happy with my decision. They really deserve all the A's they have earned on the Angie's List website. I am thrilled with all the help they gave me today to teach me how to keep my basement dry and how to use everything. Not every contractor takes the time to really teach you how to maintain your new mechanics. I will absolutely be calling them for any plumbing/heating related repairs or replacements. I had dreaded taking care of this replacement and now I am thrilled it was done so well. This is one very grateful customer.

We were very happy with their service. We had a small problem that they came back and corrected very quickly after we called them. I would recommend them in the future.

I had been having a problem with all of my 3 toilets for at least a year. I replaced the flush valves and the flappers on all of them but still got the leaking and running. Friends tried to fix them but nothing worked. I was having out of town friends visit and knew I needed to have the toilets looked at by professionals. D'Angelo's was on your list. I called them on Saturday and they had someone at my house that day. They let me know what the job entailed, gave me an estimate of cost, and came back the following Monday and took out the old toilets, hauled them out and replaced them all with efficient, water saving models. The guys were polite, wore shoe coverings so as not to dirty my floors and were extremely professional. Very satisfied with the whole experience! Would I recommend D'Angelo's Plumbing to anyone else? You bet I would!

It went well. Time will tell with the work, eh? No reason, though, to suspect it was anything other than a superior repair. I used a coupon I bought the same day of service, before calling D'Angelo's, when I heard water splashing down in the basement. It was their $111 to get $200 worth of plumbing coupon. As to price? I don't know, I did not call around. I suspect it is at least fair, maybe a little high. I don't mind paying for quality work. Of course, if I ever find out I was ripped off, or I find someone who does work just as good for less money, then I might change plumbers. Let me emphasize again I have no reason to believe the price was anything but fair.

perfect! i bought the faucet and the tech put it on in a matter of minutes! He even included shut-off valves under my sink which were not there and I didn't even know it! He was very professional - I would use them again!

Matt was very professional; I am having a problem with a possible leak in the basement and he gave me some suggestions on what to do. He installed my new kitchen faucet which works great. He also checked my dishwasher to verify it it was leaking - which it was not.
