Overall, Egg Energy did a tremendous job. From the get go, Mike Gervasi and his team were professional and took the time to explain the process and after performing the audit, reviewed the options and pricing that fit our budget. When the work began, the workers were on time, courteous and very informative. After the work was complete, Mike and his team came back with LIPA to re-audit/test the house to make sure the deficiencies that were sited in the initial audit were cared for and in the end, made sure that we were happy and that the promises made by them were kept...they were. In the end, I would recommend Egg Energy to anyone who is looking for quality work and for improving the efficiency of their home and save money on the energy costs.

I am very pleased with the result. The air leakage in the house went down by 2 times. The humidity problems in my basement have disappeared.

Mike came to my home and gave me a very fair estimate for my attic insulation. He pointed out options and explained everything without pressuring me in any way. The installers were clean, on time and courteous. They cleaned up nicely when they finished. We first had Mike & his crew in to do a whole house assessment.We had some areas in the house that were not energy efficient.Mike explained that by doing the work, we would save $$ on our utilities. Plus he told us about the rebates that LIPA & National Grid would give us. We decided to hire them.Mike & his crew did a fantastic job. They were always on time, respectful, courteous and very clean.We had work done in the attic and the basement to tighten up areas where air was leaking out.We changed all or our hi-hats to energy efficient LED's.Mikes projections to us were right on. Our KWH usage is down. Our electric bill has been reduced by 25%.We have seen similar results in our gas usage as well. That bill is down 20%.We are extremely pleased with Mike and will not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family in the future.

Mike from EGG Energy Systems came in the week before the work was done. He gave us a detailed review of the options available to us. I knew that the siding needed to be replaced but everyone else that had given me an estimate had only looked at this as a siding job. i wasn't sure what else needed to be done and that is where Mike really helped us out because he also does energy audits. Having lived in apartments for most of my life I was quite overwhelmed by all the information out there and most estimators seem to just want to get the job, do the job and not really take the time to see if you know if this is the job for you. This is when I realized that i needed insulation for the house as well as new siding. Mike did not ever pressure us to make that choice. He just gave us the information and let us decide how much we wanted to do. What he did turned out great!!!!!! For one thing he always seemed to have eye out for our budget - like "don't spend what you don't have to." Of course he brought samples for us to choose from and guided us through the different choices available. He scheduled the job in a prompt and timely manner and informed us of the NYS law cancelation that applies to contracts, so that if we changed our minds we knew how much time we had to cancel the contract to protect our legal rights. Now for the job. I have the best siding job on the block. The crew that did the job at our house was very respectful, efficient, prompt and professional. They made me feel like we had a mansion. They took the time to make sure that we were happy every step along the way, without wasting time, all the while treating the job like it was there own house or some really fancy house. I am in a gated community so the houses all are pretty much the same size and there are no really big houses here. This didn't matter to them. they were so careful with not just the house, but the garden. Their work was neat and after they were done and gone the next-door-neighbor remarked how neat the crew was about their own appearance. When you are doing a big job like this that you have never done before and don't know if you're getting the information you need to make the right decision and not be taken advantage of it helps to deal with a company that is just as interested in your satisfaction as they are getting your business.
