The work came out perfect!

The crew who did the pool coping were very conscientious and paid very close attention to the small details to be sure the coping was installed to perfection. I thought the crew who did the patio was a little less so but that is after the first crew set such a high bar that my expectations were probably a bit higher. I still felt they did an excellent job. I always watch contractors I hire very closely to be sure the work is performed to my high standards. I always let them know this before we sign contracts so both parties know what to expect. I used to do all the projects around my home myself so I have a lot of experience and knowledge of how these projects are done. If I am hiring a contractor I expect them to do a better job than I could do myself because they should be the experts in their fields. Working with the Gappsi teams was very satisfying as they all showed they have the expertise to do their jobs professionally. They don't get upset if you question what is happening. If you want something done differently they are more than willing to cooperate or they will explain what and why they are doing it that way. This shows their professionalism and that they are just as concerned as you with having your projects meet your total satisfaction. The patio looks fantastic and watching them do it I know it was done correctly. I would and have highly recommended them to anyone looking for a patio installation.

We have a leak in our swimming pool and were told that the spa might be the problem. A very high pressure salesman arrived at our home. Before he diagnosed our problem, he informed us that our whole pool needed resurfacing because if we were to resurface our spa (at a cost of $6000) nothing would match. He seemed more interested in convincing us to do a huge job than in diagnosing the problem. When we told him that his estimate was out of line, he said he would discuss it with his management and call back. He never called back.

Nice showroom and the guys were very nice. We spent an hour to go there and see them and they gave us a cost per square foot to change the pavers in our backyard (About 3,000 square feet). I asked them to come in and measure so we can start the job. When the estimate came it was double what it was supposed to be based on the estimate they gave us at the showroom. I called a few times to discuss it or at least find out what had made the difference but never received a phone call back. The ended up being a tremendous waste of my time. I had another contractor install for half the price without the reneging.

I used them last week. It was my clean up for Autumn but we went into the Winter because they did the former clean up for my landscaping, but the weather here was pretty good. Everything came out excellent. They're just excellent. Anything they say they do, they're excellent. I will always use this provider in the future.

We met with Giuseppe who is the owner and manager at Gappsi. We decided on a liner and a coping and he gave us an approximate starting date. The 3rd party liner installers showed up to measure and came to install about 3 weeks later. They installed the liner. It looked great except that one wall near the steps was now at an angle. You could tell they did not tamp enough. They gave us some lip service that the coping guys could fix it. That turned out to be a lie. The coping guys (3rd party) showed up one day without any advance warning (no phone call). They let our new puppy out. Fortunately, he returned about 4 hours later on his own. The coping was installed and it looked great. On further inspection, I noticed that the mortar had gaps between the liner and where the coping started. Then we turned the light on one night and noticed that the liner has what looks like bubbles all over. We called and left messages for Giuseppe that went unanswered. It seems Giuseppe doesn't have a mailbox on his phone and he may not get all his messages from the office (there's never anyone there). When Gappsi called to settle the bill, we asked if anyone was going to come over and look at our issues. I then received a call from an irate Giuseppe. He was claiming that we were trying to get out of paying and bringing up issues in order to make paying him difficult. He constantly told me how he wasn't making $1 million dollars on my job. I paid him after hearing him complain about how much money he lost on doing my pool and realizing that he wasn't going to do anything but waste my time if we met to look at the issues I had with his work. He was obviously not interested in even looking at it. I told him that now that he was paid I wondered if he would even care about the sub par work that was done on my pool. I haven't heard from Gappsi since I paid them. Giuseppe is not someone that you want to do business with. He uses 3rd party contractors to do the work and then never checks or cares if they do a good job. Use someone else that does the work that they give you a quote on.

It went well. The workers were great. There was some confusion with the stones we ordered. They worked hard. There were three workers. It took about six long working days. They were about 10 or 12 hour days. They did a good clean up job.

The quote for the whole job was $120000. They were referred by a friend. I just can't get them to complete the job. They gave me a bunch of equipment last year and they left for the season. They left it standing in a pile. I had to call them to ask if they were coming back. I finally got them to come back and install it. They haven't come back in the Spring so we haven't used the salt system they put on. Getting them to come back is like pulling teeth. I was very dissatisfied with Gappsi Pools. With Gappsi Sprinklers, he was excellent. Gappsi Masonry did a very nice job. They're busy and I can't get them to come back. I had a very difficult time with Gappsi Pool division.

I left three messages for them requesting an estimate on deck repair and paver walkway repair. Apparently they don't need the work because they never responded. I am sick and tired of people advertising but never following through whether it be on estimates or just returning the phone call/message.

They did a magnificent job. The work was first rate, and they worked well into the evening for 3 months. My backyard looks like great, and it is very impressive to guests.

Price met estimate, work completed as promised.

They came when they said they would and did the job over a three week period of time. There was always a supervisor present. They came back about a month later and power washed everthing.

They were very courteous. They gave us options. At that time, it seemed a little bit expensive but talking to others, it actually was not expensive. It was sort of middle to high end. They were fine. There was some confusion with our address so punctuality is a B. I will possibly use them in the future.

They showed up as promised. The workmen were neat and respected our property. The superior Tony Germano was on the job every day supervising and working with the men. Their recommendation for the design was beautiful. They came back a few weeks later and powerwashed everything. I would recommend this company to anyone having driveway or stone work to their home.

They were very helpful to me. I dealt with a contractor who was not with Gappsi, but he has since gone to them. There was a problem with a leak in my roof caused by the work that he did, and it wasn't until I called Gappsi, that he rectified the problem. The original contractor would have avoided doing anything about it until Gappsi's involvement. I really had no direct dealings with Gappsi, and I only called them because the contractor was now employed by them, although he wasn't when he did my work. They were fabulous. They got him to call me back in 10 minutes, when I hadn't been able to get him to call me back in weeks, and then he came and rectified the problem because he didn't want to hear any negative things from his partner at Gappsi. They were excellent, and he couldn't have been nicer, and it wasn't even his partner when he did the work. He made sure that the work was done. The original contractor did windows, siding and portico, and the leak in the roof was caused because they forgot to put ice shields where the portico met the roof. He had told me that he would put the ice shields, and I had paid for it, but he didn't put it. It has been rectified, thanks to Gappsi.

In general the service was adequate. The main problem was that Gappsi never showed up to close the pool, despite repeated calls asking them to come.

They were dedicated and reliable. They take pride in their work. We were impressed with the showroom also when we were there.

They were very responsive; anytime I needed to get in touch with them they were available. Their price was very good and their work was very good. They came when they said they were going to and they finished when they said they were going to.

Gappsi's estimate was high. I saw they were in the neighborhood so that is why I got an estimate from them. They were professional but they were way off. I was trying to do a retaining wall and he said I would have to remove all of my trees. I was able to do it without removing a single tree.

They were creative with the type of sbrubs they put in as well as a great variety. I had an overall great appearance.
