Gappsi originally paved my entire courtyard, driveway, rear patio, and pool area with all natural travertine stone more than 10 years ago. The color and finish faded over the years and I recently had Gappsi do the maintenance. They power washed, re-sanded, and sealed the driveway and it came out amazing. The prep work done by the crew was incredibly thorough and the materials and sealant that was used completely revived the beautiful color of the natural stone. All of the paved surfaces on the property truly looks just as great as it did 10 years ago, if not even better. I couldn’t be more happy with the level of craftsmanship.

This is the third time I have hired Gappsi to perform work at my house. They do great work. They have done my driveway, front walkway, patio, stonework around my pool and now Power Washing and sealing of the stone. It looks great. The owner, Giuseppe Abbrancati came by to check on the work and even helped his workers with the job.

We chose and trusted the Gappsi Group for our pool, spa and patio project after meeting and getting to know Giuseppe and his team – a decision we are so happy we made. They are without a doubt the tops in the business! They leveraged our ideas and visions, added their expertise, and created a beautiful backyard for us to escape to and relax. We quickly got a great sense of comfort with the entire team’s capabilities and knowledge in every aspect of the work, while we planned out the project and made adjustments such as adding an auto cover. An example of a design change we hadn’t thought of, but are thrilled we made based on their input and experience. Then from day one of construction when Tosh and his crew started our gunite pool and spa installation, through Greg and his team’s impeccable designs and stone work we were constantly reminded of their capabilities and professionalism. We were absolutely impressed with the workmanship throughout the duration of the project and thrilled with the final product. The interaction and coordination between the Gappsi teams and other subcontractors such as the electrician and gas line installer was phenomenal, and couldn’t have been done as seamlessly as it was without the extensive experience this company offers its customers. Honesty, integrity and quality craftsmanship is what you can expect when working with the Gappsi Group across the board. We go out into our backyard now and its truly like we are on vacation without ever having to travel!

Giuseppe and his crew installed the most beautiful natural stone patio arounf my pool a few years back. It remains beautiful years later. I have had it power washed sveral times and the contractors all commented on the tightness of the fit of the stones and that this indicated the quality of the mason work. I recently dropped the custom made stone cover to the skimmer. I called Gappsi and Giuseppe got back to me right away. He said he has a crew in the area and would have them come by sometime that day and make me a new cover, which they did. he would not accept payment. This is unusal and outstanding customer service which I will never forget. Craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to the customer. A winning combination.

Well folks, today I am one HAPPY CAMPER!!!! For 3 years now I’ve been struggling to find someone to come and repair the K9 Grass at CAMP HAPPY TAILS NYC Inc. Sometimes the puppies manage to make holes and start to eat the gravel underneath which could be incredibly dangerous for them. Earlier in the year, I reached out to B&C member Gappsi Giuseppe Abbrancati from Gappsi Group for help and he responded saying he would come take a look. True to his word, Giuseppe came by on Monday and today sent some of his team to do the repairs. Under the watchful eye of newest Camper Bruno, Giuseppe’s men were polite, courteous, efficient, and they did a terrific job repairing all the holes. What’s even more amazing is that Giuseppe donated the work!!! I am so grateful to Giuseppe and Gappsi for the kindness, generosity and support. Our experience with everyone at Gappsi was extremely positive. Gappsi completed design and installation of travertine pavers around our new inground pool, along with a stacked stone wall and three sheer descents. Giuseppe, Greg, Emanuele, Mario, and everyone at Gappsi were great to work with and super helpful in developing the right design for us. The installation was professionally done. The team was always on time, hardworking, and courteous. And the folks at Gappsi stand behind the quality of their work and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. I strongly recommend them to anyone looking to do a masonry project, or any other project aligned with the services they provide.

Gappsi installed my initial patio with pavers in 1999 and in 2009 installed a pool with natural stone masonry work. In both cases the design and workmanship were excellent. Two years ago I hired Gappsi to clean, grout and seal my pavers and natural stones. The results were outstanding and to this day they all look great! Gappsi just finished another project at our home and another fine job! Thank you Guiseppe and the fine Gappsi workers who did the work at my home! Another job well done and a very satisfied repeat customer for over 23 years!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Gappsi of Smithtown. We recently broke one of the coping pavers around our pool. It looked terrible and i was worried that no one would come to fix such a small issue! Although they did the work many years ago, they came almost instantly to do the repair and they didn’t even charge for it! They are amazing! Thank you!!!! Highly recommend! 🏊♂️💧🥇

I wanted to write about how happy I was with the work performed by Gappsi, Inc on my residential property (specifically modifying my retaining wall and installing a new Jacuzzi). For those of you who don’t want to read the details, what sets Gappsi apart from a customer experience: - The experience from start to finish feels like your working with a partner, not a seller. I never felt pressured into any decision and Gappsi was always looking for cost effective alternatives to keep cost down. - A “white glove” experience from start to finish. Every single employee was extremely respectful, professional and amazing to interact with - Tremendous quality of work - A company that truly balances form and function. My work was both beautiful to look at and suited my needs to a T. So to start off, this project took 3 years from start to finish. The timing was completely based on my needs changing and obviously covid. When I was ready to execute, Gappsi completed the project in less than a month. The reason the project took 3 years from my needs changing was that originally my scope of work was based around an inground heated pool. Being in a corner property with a non-level yard presented numerous challenges. I visited Gappsis showroom several times where Giuseppe (owner) walked me through options and prices, constantly looking to deliver the most value for the smallest investment. Their showroom is amazing, modern and welcoming. It really inspires a lot of ideas. One of the ideas was this amazing jacuzzi in the middle of the show room floor. Giuseppe suggested how we could save a ton of money on the project (and on energy and maintenance going forward) if we decided to instead go the jacuzzi route. We would also avoid needing things like permits from the town. Giuseppe took the time to understand my situation (married, but not planning on having kids) and explained how for myself and my wife a jacuzzi would provide year round use. It was a LIFE CHANGING suggestion. Fast forward to today, we have had the jacuzzi a little more than a month and use it daily at all hours of the day and evening. I could not be happier with the work, the price and the service. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any and all.

We had Gappsi do our pool patio with Travertine , the design they came up with is beautiful , we get compliments all the time it’s very unique. They incorporated a fire pit and a raised sitting area with a waterfall into the pool . If you are gonna do a pool patio you have to use Travertine trust me you will be amazed and you will be completely satisfied with the work from this great company, very hard these days to find hard working and dedicated people . Two years ago we moved into our home. There were many areas that were neglected by the previous homeowner that we had to take care of. One area in particular was our backyard. The patio pavers were in disarray and needed attention/repair. I found out that they were previously installed by the Gappsi company over a decade ago. Upon reaching out to Gappsi, an employee named Jeff returned my call and promptly came over to evaluate the situation. Once we agreed on a solution, he had arranged for some other employees to respond and realign/repair the pavers and seal them with polymeric sand. Jeff was one of the nicest people that I ever met. He was so helpful and understanding. The other employees were also courteous and attentive. The owner of the company, Giuseppe, was also involved and came to oversee the project. I was very pleased with the work that the Gappsi company did in helping to restore my patio to its original glory! Fast forward a year an a half later, I noticed that the polymeric sand wasn’t holding up. I reached out to Jeff. who previously told me that If I ever had any other problems to contact him. Jeff responded almost immediately to my voicemail and said that he could have some workers respond tomorrow to take care of the situation. Even though I was already impressed by the Gappsi company and it’s employees, I was still surprised at how quickly Jeff responded and took care of my problem. Once the work was done my patio looked like new again. The owner of Gappsi’s once again reached out to me and wanted to make sure that I was pleased with his company and employees. I took the time to write this review because it is so rare to find a company like Gappsi’s that not only does a great job, they also stand by their work. The employees genuinely show pride in their work and want the customer to be happy. Thank you for all of the work that you did and for your continued support! Keep up the great work! Recently we needed the Gappsi Group services for automobile accident damage to work they did for us a few years ago. That work included demo and installation of a large Nicolock porch front entrance along with a driveway paver apron and light piers. It was transformational to the front of our home and still looks like new. Upon contacting the Gappsi Group for the accident damage, they responded quickly with a crew to access the damage and make it safe. A short time after they returned to fix the damage and also do some additional work that we requested. In short, the Gappsi Group is responsive, professional, and does quality work and we highly recommend them. :-)

Gappsi did our entire backyard – our pool, our patio and our outdoor kitchen area. 4 years later and I continue to think they are the best in the business. They are extremely reliable and excel in customer service. The work product is top of the line – friends and family have expressed the same and a few have already reached out to Gappsi for work in their years. Gappsi installed a very large driveway with natural granite pavers several years ago. We were very happy with the install and the granite pavers; they have not changed in colors or texture. We needed some minor repairs done and they did a beautiful job. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

The crew they sent to do our job were very good technicians. We had pretty good idea of what we wanted and crew made some suggestions that made job turn out even better. Our original work was done a couple of years ago. I don't often write reviews but my recent contact with Gappsi prompted this review. I had a small problem with the border on one of walkways. Giuseppe Abbrancati the owner of Gappsi came to examine the issue himself . He agreed that it needed some repair and a crew was in area and it was repaired within hours . As home owners ,we all know how difficult it can be to have some stand behind there work. This level of professionalism is rare today. It just reinforced that we made right choice in choosing Gappsi for our project.

Great company! I highly recommend GAPPSI to all my friends and family. I contracted GAPPSI to do masonry work 18 years ago and I had the opportunity to deal directly with the owner Giuseppe Abbrancati. He was true to his word and they did a great job installing 2 walkways, a 50 X 20 Patio and 2 stoops. I have since used GAPPSI to sealcoat the pavers, install a batting cage and to do a kitchen renovation. They have always done a quality job. The most important thing is that I trust Giuseppe and his company. He stands behind his work and always does the right thing. I will definitely continue to do business with Giuseppe and GAPPSI

Giuseppe and his team did amazing work with installing a limestone g044 patio for our front porch and backyard. They also did custom columns - beautiful amazing work all around. What’s important to note is they stand by their work and you truly are a customer for life. We had our work done last year and there were some minor issues that happened and Giuseppe was quick to send out his crew to resolve it in a timely manner. Extraordinary. If I had only one word to describe the back yard oasis that Giuseppe and the team at Gappsi Construction were able to create for my family and me. From start to finish and top to bottom Giuseppe and project managers Greg and Tosh were consummate professionals. Gappsi installed my patio and pool deck about 15 years ago and it still looks as good as the day it was installed. Twice I needed Gappsi to repair my ladder anchors that deteriorated and a broken brick. The owner Giuseppe Giuseppe was quick to return my call and sent the crew right over to do the repair. Giuseppe is professional and trustworthy and his team does quality work at a fair price I have recommended Gappsi many times.

Gappsi did my patio area in the front and back of house several years ago and when I called for some minor repairs they came back and took care of it. Gappsi just completed a gunite pool renovation at my residence this past fall, 2019. It Included a new patio, coping, state of the art filtering system, heater, and in-ground fountains. The professionalism, workmanship, and quality was outstanding. The teamwork, between Giuseppe, Tosh, and Greg, was seamless in all aspects. My wife and I are delighted with the finished product. We are so happy with our new “ resort” and would highly recommend gappsi to anyone considering home or property improvement.
